  • Please congratulate me on how creative my video titles are.
Correction: Hakuhodo website, not Chikuhodo, you can filter by function.
    Where the video cut off:
Ahahaha joke's on me. In the live application video, I got interrupted twice by people coming in but I got to return to the video. In this video I got cut off by internet that faltered. Where I left off:
Buying the brushes second hand is an option if you don't want to directly support a brand/or company but still want to enjoy the product. Your money doesn't go to the company, and recycling is a good thing. The Sonia G brushes are extremely hard to dupe because she specifically designed brushes that don't currently (at the time of release) exist. The best dupes would be from hakuhodo an 40-80% similar to Sonia G.

So good to see you uploading again! You give the best detailed and thorough Fude brush reviews on TH-cam! I love your final look too.

@ClaraPR; I agree with you! I particularly like how she demonstrates in detail how to use brushes. Thanks to her I finally know how to use the Surratt Smokey Brush L! I didn't like this brush at all (thought it was a blending brush) and now It has become one of my favorite "special" brush.

The Ougi brush is very attractive and I have been looking at the FO-2. I have the Niji and it’s a nice, soft, full brush. I am glad I purchased same. I think I am in love with brushes of this shape.

I love the FO-2 brush! One of my favorites for blush. Blends it out like a dream and looks so natural. The whole FO Series from Chikuhodo is amazing and worth every penny. The eye brushes themselves are worth their weight in gold. I don’t know what it is about Fox hair but it has become my preferred hair type.

Quick question: Do you have your brushes insured? I ask because my collection has grown quite a bit (not nearly as large as yours), but still pricey enough to where if it were stolen or damaged it would be costly to replace. In order to include it in my home owner’s policy, something of this nature needs to be appraised. I really don’t know who would be the right type of person to take it to to have that done. If you could be of assistance with any ideas that would be appreciated.

Yay! Welcome back 😃! I'm glad I ordered the RR-P5 right before Chikuhodo price increase, it looks lovely! I love my FO-2 for cream blush. And I've been noticing my skin has been going from oily to combo oily to combo to combo dry over the years, and my eye area going from insensitive to sensitive, so I now have to be more picky with softness of hairs.

Happy to see you back! Great review. I’m obsessed with Hakuhodo squirrel and goat mix brushes. Great to finally see a review of one of their Ougi brushes. I have the Sonia g Nigi Pro snd agree with your comparison. The Nigi is fabulous but very dense and fat. I think I would like the Hakuhodo Ougi.

Sorry I’m going to hijack and comment here as well so please ignore my other comment, I’m considering the angled fan brush vs some of Sonia Gs equivalent. Which do you prefer and why? I need something that will diffuse blush and bronzer really well. If not what is you’re favourite bronzer brush for a targeted but very blended/diffused application?

So great to see a new video up! You look happy and well. Loving that vibrant lip. That Hakuhodo ougi is next on my list before the price hike. I’ve had it in my wishlist for a bit and have been wanting to see it in action a little more, so perfect timing. Are you thinking of doing a “Hakuhodo Must Haves” before the price hike in June? I’ve been adding a lot of their squirrel/goat mixes to my collection. I’m just loving them and am kind of addicted 😳😂. I would love to hear about your insight on the ones you have.

Are you able to compare or give further guidance on the F1342BkSL Fan Brush Angled [H6203] versus the F1240BkSL Fan Brush Round [H6200]
and the F1340BkSL Fan Brush Angled [H6202]? I know that two are angled but the sight only gives differences in hair length but I am trying to determine if there is a difference in density of hair. I don’t mind paying more for higher density but not so much for merely longer hairs. Your thoughts?

Have you ever tried Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in 21 as a mix-in with your cream foundation? I have been LOVING it over the drying winter months. I was initially mixing it with the RCMA Cream foundation in my palm before application , but now I've just been dotting both around my face and letting the brush do the work.
Also would love to know what cream foundation you use!

Wow, you are back!😃I missed you!:)
Edit: Do you also have a Ougi eye brush? If yes; Can you demonstrate how to use them properly? BTW: Based on your recommendation I bought the Kokutan Eyeshadow L brush and I looove this brush! Very soft and versatile, I even use it for my eye makeup! OK, enough talk about me🙄...welcome back!:)😊🙋‍♀️
