- Jupiter is our Solar System's largest planet and has a diameter of 88,695 miles which is more than 11 times the diameter of Earth. It's volume is over 1,300 times the volume of Earth which means that Jupiter could fit 1,300 Earths inside of it. Jupiter is located 558 million miles away from Earth and can be located very easily in the night sky. It appears as the brightest "star" in the night sky. You can see Jupiter and its 4 moons with a decent telescope or even with a powerful pair of binoculars.
