Another good and informative video, hope all the new data works as planned. Early spring coming so will soon see those planters out in the field, have a safe planting season.
Hey Andy keep waiting for you to use that fancy half gate so you can reach up in the truck further LOL Not an expert but some guys will mount the receiver on the planter, the planter actually guides the tractor.
You’ve seen it used in all its practicality haha. I’ll give you a demo in the video after next, Allan. The implement steering is what a lot of farmers use, but it does require an extra done.
Check out Milwaukee’s rechargeable headlamps. Great for hands free light in dark barns...plus it will match you new bag lol. Every farm truck needs a chain in it. Better drop one in the corner of your toolbox. If you really want to step your farm truck game up, add airbags with a nice compressor. Put a quick connect hose coupling back by the license plate...and bam...quick tire fills, dust clean up after bin cleaning...hundreds of uses.
The chain is a great idea. Dad always has one in his truck, and they are very versatile. As for the truck, I have seen a few with airbags. That’s a little overkill for my tastes. The air compressor with a quick connect on the back sounds awesome!
That's a great suggestion, but we already do that on both planters for every pass. The corn planter is fine 85-90% of the time. The remainder usually has 6-12" of sway down the row!
They do make great planters, especially because they have Precision Planting parts. It's hard to mix colors with high-tech implements and tractors. Thanks for watching!
Someone is making a FORTUNE on those monitors.!😲!. It doesn't cost more than $100 for the raw materials to make them. So, someone is pocketing a LOT of cash somewhere along the lines.!🤯!.
If I had to guess, Deere probably makes a fortune on about all of their products. There is probably some value in the software itself, but the hardware cannot be that expensive. I can build a top-end PC for that kind of change. Thanks for tuning in!
We actually only upgraded to RTK for the exactemerge in hopes that it would keep the planter straight through the field. That was not a success. For soybeans, it didn’t seem worth the money. They’re a controlled spill anyways! 🤣
That’s not an impact socket... great video as always looking forward to more in the next few months. Keep it up. Nice truck IMO. Question why don’t you just lift up the rear seat in your truck?
Every socket is an impact socket if you want it to be! As for the dogs, I like them enough to leave the seats down, but not enough for them to enjoy the leather. Thanks for the compliments and for watching the video!
Terry, It can either be a TH-cam glitch, or it is just due to my recent inactivity. Hopefully they will start popping up soon so you don't miss out. I appreciate your concern, and thanks for watching!
When it’s warmer outside, I have a lot more variety to offer. During the winter, I do about 2-3 jobs-backhoeing, trucking, and paperwork. Those can get extremely repetitive, and I don’t like to force content on you all just for the sake of uploading. Thanks for sticking around even with my inconsistencies!
ya. I guess you didn't pay for the gps components yourself. 2630's were and still are 5000 bare bones. 3500 for autocrac activation, 3000 for swath control, 3000 for row sense. so your one monitor is was 14000 new and still would be close. a 6000 globe is 4500 bare with sf1. 7000 to get rtk plus 750 or so for the rtk radio. so they are worth that much used depending on the activations.
No I didn't, Parker. I didn't even consider that the activations were stuck with the monitors, which would explain the added price. Thanks for the comment!
gm shut down production to build ventilators at one point last year causing the truck shortage. Sad to see how a "virus" .....election.... can dramatically change how we live.
Yes it is crazy to see how fast our industries were halted from the virus. The truck shortage was also affected by the chip shortage, which was caused by covid. A lot of unexpected occurrences all at once. Thanks for watching!
I like to think about it this way, you didn't lose it, you just haven't found it yet. Great video!
👍👀💖 GREAT WORK
Thanks ✌
You see that possum run in the shed as you were closing the garage door with the 3rd cart? 🤦
JK 🤣🤣🤣
Great vid
Great name!
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!
Thanks for always watching!
Thanks for another great video Andy! Keep up the great work and have a great day!
Thanks, will do!

I hope so too! The dust will be flying before we know it. Thanks for watching.

Hey Andy about your planter moving around when at higher speeds have you ever tried using the differential lock after you click the autosteer on?
That's a great suggestion, but we already do that on both planters for every pass. The corn planter is fine 85-90% of the time. The remainder usually has 6-12" of sway down the row!

I'm afraid my comments aren't showing up, I'm intrested in the wagons Andy.
Oh there we go, I tried putting my email and phone number in my comment maybe that's why it didn't post.
Hello, Caleb. I think I just missed your last comments. You can message me on instagram and I'd be happy to discuss!
Oh man I don't have ig..email maybe?

I see how it goes on the farm. When Marty's not around, blame it on him. Typical kid
I blame him even more when he is around!
Surprised you don’t run rtk on both planters

@@aTrippyFarmer true until it busts apart...then it sucks when it it hits ya....understandable dogs are family and keep your stuff in great shape
8:31 i didnt think those exist, i can never find them anyway
They are so useful to have in the toolbox for places where the ratchet won't fit. Thanks for watching!
Is anybody else not getting the video notifications???

The least consistent TH-camr of all time title has left you

Do any of your equipment use government juice a.k.a def
Our S670 is the only thing that uses it. DEF is part of the reason that we haven't traded for newer equipment.
@@aTrippyFarmer.nice. Is def bad to deal with
