Dear Traditional Lifers,
On this fine morning I went to our land and got some drumstick leaves to make our traditional and healthy breakfast and snack recipes
When I entered back Valar made a perfect coffee so after finishing our morning drink I cleaned the drumstick leaves and gave it to Valar then she started making adai with peanut chutney and today I like the chutney very much since its not too watery so it will be very good to eat with ragi adai
While eating itself it got rained so after the rain I did some farm work in our land where we are preparing the land to plant organic vegetables, After having our lunch Valar took rest and in the evening she started making sweet adai, after finishing farm works I was in rest under a tree so we had our sweet ragi adai there itself
Both breakfast and snack recipes are very healthy so plz try to make these recipes regularly at your home and stay healthy and importantly the sweet adai will be the most favourite for the kids

I don't think many of us who are in the USA are happy. I have lived here for 27 years, and I miss South India every single day. When you move far away from your culture, your core, no money or material things can fill that void. Material things with no happiness at the core only bring mental health issues. You are not missing anything by not going to the USA.

Barely 19 hrs and 1M views...it shows how we all yearn to connect n go back to nature. Your videos are treat to the eyes. You may occasionally show grandparents visiting your place and some relatives as well else it looks like another nuclear family in village.
You could also include some lost or forgotten indian traditions, skills, remedies etc.
And yes...not to forget a cattle/pet in your verandah will make it complete. Good luck to your team. Keep it up!

The recipe of peanut chutney is a regular and one of the most favorite dishes of mine. We always have it in our home. We'll definitely try the ragi sweet dish recipe and the drumstick recipe also. In our home, we usually fry the leaves of drumstick. It's told that the fry of drumstick leaves is very good for eyesight. It's a request to share your version of that recipe. 🙏
