@@lukemcguire4393 That’ll only happen if your throwing it hella hard at the backboard. Your suppose to use a soft touch on layups. Should always go in if your WIDE OPEN. No matter how fast your running
This is why I keep saying use the backboard. This type of shit you don’t want to happen. In a game instead of that you could lay it up on the right side and get the rim to protect you.
Based upon my several years of experience in playing basketball. I feel like backboard layups have more accuracy than direct rim layups. Backboard also better for high speed layups. Just my opinion.
Damn bro. You can assess alot in a short video. I thought the kid was gonna bury him, clean left, really agile. The end was brutal 🤣 All the talk got into his head. That's honestly a good thing though. Even though he's trying to beat you he's still listening and processing what you're saying. Does well when you offer encouragement, the slick talk made him laugh probably why he missed. You're doing a good job, he respects you, and young man will continue to improve with that influence. Having fun with it is fundamental 👏
Remember, all the lead up someone may use means nothing if they aren't good at finishing. I'll take someone who's dribbling is shaky but has a soft touch at the rim over a guy with ankle breaking crossovers who bricks it.

@Rita Suvana wtf
He was coming at the hoop straight on, though. It's usually easier to just try to put it through the net at that angle.
Just like Rdcworld once said:"In no circumstances should you smoke a layup unless Lebron is behind you, ready to end your career. Shout-out to Curry."
They all just wanna shoot when it comes to going to the rack the game just start falling apart lol
Backboard is there for a reason 🏀
I thought the first guy was the player lol
Kid just travelled two times from start.
The coach was just like doing a normal show off
The player was tryharding
The kid's fluidity in his movement lowkey made him looks more of a hopper than his coach lol
They both cracked dangg lol doe
My toxic trait is thinking I’d be able to do this

Im gonna give it to the kid here bro
I think he should stay the coach for now ...
How do you miss a wide-open layup
The reason he missed it because his coach saw he used his right hand on the left side so the coach magically blocked it

I thought he was gonna kick it off the cone
everyone: *watching who’s faster*
me: “how did they get the ball to stay on the cone? 🤔 “
Coach looks stiff no dribbles no flare classic weight lifter
I thought that first guy was the student
Teach the kid to dribble the ball instead of carrying it the first few cones. No point in running drills if you ain’t gonna follow the rules

Right hand on the left side and no backboard is CRAZY

If only there were a large rectangular object that you could lay the ball up and bank it off of. If there were, surely a coach would use it as well.
That cone with the ball on it looks like Louis from family guy
Hey! He kicked a ‘basketball’ that’s what my coach would say
Dude was running way to much not dribbling at all enough
Did the player travel in the beginning? Looks like it to me
