My hood… I love it. It’s got everything you need. Grocery/convenience stores, restaurants, good schools, playgrounds… And as far as noise goes, not a problem if you aren’t directly on Adams (I am assuming, based on my location). Firehouse not too far away, so I do hear sirens fairly often, but outside of that..? Nothing.
Narrow streets, small old houses, bad parking, more property crime, high crime in the surrounding areas, less educated people, more poverty. I avoid Normal Heights, North Park, City Heights/East San Diego, Linda Vista.
