Good video guys. I came here military at 18 from Ohio... retired here. Built my family here. The people are very friendly and i love the small pockets around town. Lets not tell everyone about our little secret!
My frds from ATL came to visit, and I think they were literally having withdrawls. 😂 They are so accustomed to being in a primarily black population that they felt awkward in SD. They were like fish out of water. I advised them to get out of their comfort zone and live life! I've been in SD for 5 yrs and love it. I haven't experienced any blatant racism, etc. Everyone is always frdly and cordial.
Being from that side of the country I can definitely agree that it can seem like a different world for some. That’s the exciting part! Your recommendation was spot on…I’ve personally been all over the world, and most (if not all) of the countries I’ve visited I’ve been 1 of the only most times. Find a group of friends and explore all this city/coast has to offer!
@@thedreamteamsandiego Hi there, how are you? Although your content is excellent, it has to be optimized for search engines. Could we chat about the issues you're having with your TH-cam channel and why the views and subscribers should be described as they should? the natural ways to raise it.
We met through a Real Estate cold calling group…It was early in my career and he always made himself available to me for advice. Day or night I could call and knew that if I needed an answer, or just to talk, I could reach out to him. He brought the family out and we just clicked. Having people that have your back is tough in life, and especially in this business….so having someone that made themselves so available was awesome. He’s crazy…but everyone needs a crazy friend.
Thanks! I didn't know the taxes were so high. When I lived there over 30 years ago, homelessness seemed to be confined to downtown. How about some LGBTQAI+ content. Is Hillcrest still the center for that? I have a friend and his African-American boyfriend/partner who live in La Mesa.
Hillcrest is absolutely amazing...and definitely a spot to head if you're looking for a good night out. Hillcrest is most certainly the most diverse and inclusive community in San Diego when it comes to the LGBTQAI+. I have personal friends (an attorney friend and his partner) that felt Hillcrest was too "young" of a scene for them and moved over to Sunset Cliffs...AMAZING VIEWS and the sounds of the ocean at night...
Pros and Cons depends of how much money you can make to live comfortably and have time to enjoy the city. If you work three jobs just to pay bills, every city will be CON.

No problem
LOL After 37 years and watching SD go from Paradise to everything BUTT .....I gleefully escaped.
Would love to hear your insights... Anything specific?
South Carolina! I'm also thinking of moving to SD from SC

A 5-30min commute to a different scene in SD versus a 1-2hr schlep in NYC???? I'll take it!!!! Especially if the tax situation is the same 😂
Yep, can definitely agree depending on where you're coming from SD isn't really that bad in the grand scheme of things when it comes to traffic
Tell me more about the taxes
Anything in specific? Property taxes, income taxes?
San Diego is like an episode of Entourage? 😅
It's crazy because I am a huge fan of Entourage. Then someone made the joke and I was like "wait a min..." -Terrence
No it's not San Diego is horrible place to live. Homeless everywhere and everything is overpriced.
