What makes this even more asinine is that prior to Primal Ravage they said Vengeance was a finished game too. So there is absolutely no excuse for this

I dont mind a new vengeance campaign in a vacuum, I thought hammerhold was solid and I think they might listen to the feedback about the absurd pricing. The thing is I would rather a campaign for origins or frontier, games that are a lot better imo (even if orgins' mini campaigns are a bit weak)
Hammerhold was supposed to be the last thing Ironhide would do to Vengeance before considering it finished: make a few patches, balance some things, add new content, and hope the players will be satisfied eoth it. With this new announcement, they are showing that they... uh... want to keep updatint the worst one...?
Maybe a final balance changes I guess? I played vengeance for 2 months now and there are some bugs that I hope Ironhode fixes in the upcoming update (Make Tramin Rocket barrage deal some damage please),I hope this next update will fix those glitches while releasing new content. I also hope that this is their final update for the game so they can focus on other projects. (Please update iron marines invasion 🥺🥺🥺)
Eh, I just ask what would be worse though? We often criticize typical AAA devs for abandoning games in less than a year. I like to imagine that they're trying to at least show that they won't just pull the rug under the people who bought the game? I feel like at least trying to fix what they can is an act of good faith.
They can't fix the fundamentals, which is why the game is so unfun to begin with, so this ends up being a giant waste of time (Read my response to the guy who said I have no right to dislike the hammerhold DLC)
@@Cozyn3z Oh no, I do not think that you're wrong to say that this game is the weakest in the series. It absolutely is. I am curious though, what are your thoughts on Alliance?
Make post-game elite levels for the jungle in frontiers itself (for free, 10/10 enjoyment and difficulty level the same as the rest of the game) ❌ Make a second 8$ dlc (5 levels, costs more than the entirety of frontiers, arguably most fun game of the series) for the game that introduced dlc's in the first place, 3/10 enjoyment and hardly difficult maybe aside from the final level of the dlc ✅ Although, I honestly really liked the hammerhold dlc. Its not worth the money if we compare it to frontiers, but the alric and malik levels were both fairly difficult, the boss battles are top tier, amazing when you play them for the first time, the dlc introduced unique enemy types. Not bad imo.
think the players' problem stems from the update not coming to Kingdom Rush Frontiers, because you have no right to say bad things about the new DLC. No matter what anyone says, Hammerhold DLC was a really good update. Yes, there may be some bugs or something, but the most important thing is that the level design is excellent. Damn. So I think it won't fall behind Hammerhold in its new DLC, even beta testers think it's the top. As for updating other games, I would like them to update krf and kro as well. I would love to play the jungle and desert mini campaigns for krf with 3 levels and 2 new heroes. I'd like the same thing for cross country, but definitely not for the first game. Because it's a very old game, old graphics, simplicity of level design (also in terms of atmosphere), disorganized systems (different number of waves in each level, irregular arrangement of main campaign and post-game levels, and simplicity of the hero system since it's the first game). So I also want a campaign for KRF, especially the forest campaign. or for kro. But you have no right to criticize the Kingdom Rush Vengeance update just because there is no update for these games
I have every right, been a fan of Ironhide since 2011 and an active member of the community for years. To an extent the problem stems from the DLC being in Venegance, yes, this is because Venegance has unfixable problems with the code such as normal targeting, modifier immune, meele blocking fails and hero spells being wasted if cancelled. There is also the tower abilities going on cooldown when upgraded, but I don't know if that is a flaw with the engine. The last Vengeance DLC had some good in it, but it is nowhere near worth the 8 dollars when you compare it to Primal Ravage, which was as good in stage design and wave combositions.
I accept these bugs and problems in krv, but I don't think a community that doesn't fix such problems will update a game that was released 10 years ago. Wouldn't it be possible to solve the basic problems of the game in addition to these updates? For example, the balance changes that come with Hammerhold DLC. If you bring this, you will eliminate other problems. I wish I were Ironhide instead. I was going to improve the krv game by bringing a few updates to krf and kro, which players wanted very much. This game truly has the potential to be the best KR game. Fixing bugs, adding high quality difficulty to post game levels like in DLC, hero balancing, speeding up the duration of enemies and waves, endlees level etc. I think the Alliance game should be added to this, because if Vengeance's problems are fixed, I think these two excellent modern Kingdom Rush games will help expand the game's audience. However, I think updating Trilogy Kingdom Rush will only satisfy the existing player base.@@Cozyn3z

why vengeance dlc... why not fukin fronteirs or the first game like dude they proved theyre capable of updating older games with ten'shi and frontiers hasnt been updated in years
Honestly I find hilarious how much Ironhide is glazing KRV despite how much the community is already beyond done with it
Just goes to show how little game devs know about their own games. I'll never understand what goes through their heads.
They gotta appeal to all the out of the loop 12 year olds who got into this yesterday 🤷♂️
if they really want people to buy dlc campaigns they should’ve done it in quite literally any kr game aside from vengeance
