The first 2 games had amazing Artillery, Barracks were then given a chance in Origins I mean those *blade singers* just wiping the floor sometimes. Then in vengeance, the Inferno tower from CoC! 😂 And finally in alliance, they brought back the necromancers and Inferno tower because they didn’t learn their lesson 💀
If the Tribal AxeThrowers had smart targeting, it would’ve made them a lot better in silencing spellcasters for real. Instead of just constantly spamming the totem from the first enemy it sees.
Ok, I know I’m late to this video, but for the record, the Templar’s are the sexiest tower in the series. Don’t believe me? They have a WIDE, CONFIDENT stance. Big, bad ass swords. They don’t need the help of some dragon lady like the paladins, they’re always looking to increase the physical prowess. And most importantly, the most amazing voice ever in the series. It’s the kind of voice that can carry you off to sleep. The templars are amazing! (Even if performance-wise assassins are better in nearly every way)
With a bit of effort in microing the reinforcements and the heroes, as well as the barracks, i find the Dwaarp's instakill really useful. It can kill annoying enemy that would ruin your entire game if you let them do their thing. Plus, it can instakill a Blacksurge while he is invincible in its shell. If you manage to isolate those enemies you can get the best out of that ability. Of course every strategy is different and you should use towers as you wish. Great video btw!
Dwaarp core drill ability is the most expensive instakill in the series and it doesn't even have smart targeting and bloodshell are immune to that make it even worse
@@BladesingersLover yeah, that's true. But i actually find it more reliable than assassins instakill since it can never miss. With a bit of effort you can make it work really well. For my way tonplay the game, that's worth the money, of course everyone has its own strategy

Templars get too much hate. Their upgrades are terrible, yes, but they have one purpose: stall. And they do that well without upgrades, for cheap. Theyre pretty good, just dont upgrade them.
The stat buffs are great, but it's still way more worth it to go for assasins. You can invest in their kit later on in the level and their value can get way higher when compared with templars.
You can’t stall when the enemy annihilates barracks units with the most broken anti-barracks skills in the game. It’s better to have cheap fodder than to have big bois since more bodies means more stalling vs instant kills. Assassins can at least evade a few instant kill moves and avoid others by being invisible. Also they have more ehp because of their evasion.
@@alexplayzKR Templars are kind of like the barbarians in kingdom rush. You just have to find a suitable place for them and they don't fit everywhere. They are like barbarians in Kingdom Rush and you have to put them in attack positions where enemies come out to kill them quickly. They should not be used to detain enemies as long as possible, but rather to attack and kill them. Each building has its own specifics, but I agree that it is the worst tower in the game
Good tier list, only thing I would change is to place dwaarp at spot 4, in between assassins and crossbow fort. Dwaarp can be useful lategame if there are a lot of enemies and if you place the tower on a corner spot, otherwise battle mecha will always be better, even without upgrades and you can start off with mecha as well as move it around. I think assassins are better than dwaarp because they're the best chance you have of stalling high attack enemies in this game and on some levels their instakills are borderline broken.
So wait, when Kid Me played the game,It might as not been that my strats were bad as much as I was just getting screwed over by towers that I thought were Strong but were garbage? Makes lots of sense actually.
Honestly templars only useful in endless where bosses deal aoe demage and assasins can't dodge, templars will tank nicely and also you can cheese a bit when boss almost kills templars, upgrade ability that gives more health so they get instantly full hp!

Tribal axe thrower totem of spirit is actually good if you make a choke point that’s how you utilize the totem as if one enemy dosent stay in the same spot without barrack hero or reinforcement then the same logic applies for totem of weakness so they are actually both on par except totem of spirit is much less versatile compared to to totem of weakness.
You can pair dwaap's instant kill with Blackthorne. Blackthorne will bring you a lot of gold which will ease the cost of the tower and the upgrade. Instant kill is situationally good if the a few really strong enemies came out alone at the beginning of a wave (like the crab guy and the blue gale mage)

Orc barracks from vengeance is the real shame ! Even with heal , great ( in theory ) damage boost , and orc captain boost their survivability is too small same as damage , so you can't use them for dealing damage instead of archers , like elite harassers .
Personal list: Mecha - duh Tribal axe - Very cost effective - basic archer upgrades are cheaper, excellent base stats, and totem of weakness negates a good amount of armor Crossbow - Highest single target damage on a cheap abillity. Limited by armor tho. Assassins - Best total instakill chance in the franchise. Insane single target durability with 70% dodge. Very high dps with counterattack + sneak attack. Bane of lycans Necro - great internal synergy - skeles + knight + acid = stalling + aoe true damage. Very extreme damage variation tho and only 30 skeles possible in a single stage. Archmage - Abilities are meh. Base stats are yey. Oneshots blacksurge with 9. Enough said. Dwarp - Artillery explosions usually damage flying enemies - not for dwarp. Needs swarms to justifiy upgrade cost. Slow expensive instakill, targets only the closest not the strongest, and not even relevant vs the scariest creature (bloodshell). Templars - High base stats under cut by very low attack speed. Arterial strike also under cut by lower attack rate. Only better vs aoe attacks, but can kill nothing. Vampire blood bag. Lycan puppy farm. Saurian brutes just laugh.
This is the 3rd Kindom Rush game im currently playing, im two levels away from finishing and i strongly disagree about it being the hardest. Artillery towers and the necro tower are so unbelievably strong that it makes the game a breeze. You dont have to spend money on upgrading barracks to hold choke points so you spend all your money on pure dps and everything has such strong AoE that all you have to do is cover the choke points with AoE artillery, one necro tower and one axethrower totem and its premmy much rinse and repeat every level. I dont feel like i have to adapdemy tower choice and placement depending on the level. Dont get me wrong, i still think its a great game but i find that the first two games are harder, especially the Origins one, because no tower is as broken and spammable as Necro and Artillery in this game.
I think the hardest title comes from the endgame content, I have played every game and frontiers is the only one with consistent legitimate difficult levels at the end.
I wouldn’t call the Silence totem useless. It shuts down stealthers and darters real nicely, and those two are some of the most annoying enemies in the game to fight at that point of the main campaign. At the very least, it is never on the tier of “worthless” or below. I’d argue “Tier 1 only.”
