Plus Matt rejoining WWE would be cool especially now with R-Truth expected to be more active in-ring Matt could help provide in the entertainment of backstage areas.
It’s literally what punk said for the boys there’s literally no communication and they even agreed after reading all that the communication sounds like it sucks I really hope Dan goes to wwe same for Hook they deserve better man Can we get a full video on the Dan Housen situation?
Hook’s been built all of sudden up because they know he wants out . These guys who’s contracts are coming up , that Tony realizes he can’t lose, suddenly get attention. Tony don’t want him becoming a star in wwe
Right? They already didn't give him much to do before Punk left, but after Punk left we never really saw him again either. The only EVP who ever buried his grudge against Punk is Kenny. The Bucks are still salty, or else they wouldn't have aired the Wembley footage for no reason like the beef between them was still going. And with TK being as incapable as he is on top of that, I guess it's safe to say we all know why Danhausen was given even less to do after Punk left. It's written all over the walls. AEW's locker room politics are a damn joke at this point.
Danhausen has a massive built in fan base. I watched him in the real RoH before Tony bought it. He's actually a good wrestler. If Danhausen leaves AEW I think the WWE will sign him. They love comedy wrestlers. He would fit right in with R Truth.
Tony Kahn signing Adam Copeland and NOT running that classic tag feud back is ridiculous. Copeland's whole AEW run so far has been fairly "meh". He should've debuted by saving Christian. Then they go on a tag run, win the tag titles and defend them against teams like established teams like FTR (who are close friends of theirs), The Young Bucks, upcoming teams like Top Flight and Private Party, and a Legacy team like The Hardy's, and even call in popular established teams like Motor City Machine Guns. Do the singles feud later, after fans have gotten their fill of nostalgia from it. Personally, I'd have Copeland say that this is his last ride and that once they drop the titles, he's done (but that whoever takes them from him will have to kill him), then have Christian take the pinfall and Adam turns on Christian, saying Christian just wanted him out of the picture so that he could take all the glory for himself. THEN you do the singles feud, which would end with Adam's retirement match, if he is choosing to retire after this run. Danhausen was never even given the OPPORTUNITY to get over. Danhausen got over because of his promos and his banter with The Gunns...which AEW didn't even touch. They very rarely ever gave him mic time. Hook wanting to leave doesn't surprise me at all. He's been wrestling for AEW for over 3 years and has had less than 60 matches. You can't learn like that, especially when 90% of your opponents are Jobbers and 95% of your matches are squash matches.
Here’s a video idea. “Why Has AEW Battle of the Belts Sucked?” Like why is BOTB just lackluster, a poor man’s Saturday Night’s Main Event? Why has there been no title changes since Sammy Guevara won the TNT title from Scorpio Sky? Why is there matches with guys who don’t deserve those title shots? Why hasn’t the world title been defended on there? The recent one didn’t have a single AEW title defended (I didn’t even know there was a new BOTB) in the show. You had the ROH Women’s world title, the lousy FTW title (why is that still being used?), and an eliminator match with the AEW international champ (wasn’t a title match. Just a match where the non-champ gets a shot if he won).
The faster Hook hits the Power Plant. The faster he can debut on NXT and be working on the main roster. No reason to waste time on the indies when you don't have too.
Swerve is about to win the world championship and nobody is going to care because Tony is making the company feel like a joke. Tony is a great matchmaker, but he books his show like an EWR simulator.
Danhausen said he wanted to wrestle more than just be a character. Which is what he’s been doing in GCW, most AEW talent are allowed to wrestle elsewhere, which is what I guess he’s doing until they have a use for him? Considering the injuries he’s had lately it would make sense to get him some in ring time again
@@mringram it's funny you say toxic fans because this is reminding me of when WWE fans use to HATE on TNA back in the day Both sides have toxic fans but WWE having a bigger and more core fanbase means there's going to be lots of people hating on any company not WWE, esp when the company is not living up to the hype. I've not been into wrestling for almost a decade but it seems to me that WWE fans love to hate AEW. AEW fans have their moments but WWE fans are legitimately nuts
I knew danhausen was done when he made a video Disliking what Davis was serving him I took that as "He isn't happy with the creative he's being fed" That was followed by a bunch of Indy dates I don't blame him but he did get a Action Figure or 2 out of the deal
Sad but true....Danhausen's figures were among the best Jazwares ever made and sold like hotcakes too. I guess that pissed off the Elite, whose distorted, cross-eyed figures still choke pegs as of this post.
Danhausen is a big merch seller but can't get anything decent to do, Orange Cassidy is supposedly a big merch mover and is a multitumw champ, probably going to be made AEW champ at some point(with the marks chanting "you deserve it") - yep, that's Tony's booking alright 😂 He'll probably end up in TNA as a manager for PCO and be successful there. He had role but Tony doesn't get it - his AEW theme proved that to me, too over the top and big for what Danhausen should be.
I'm glad to see someone else who felt his AEW theme proved that they didn't get what made Danhausen work. Danhausen works the same way R. Truth works: everybody else has to think he's insane or weird. Danhausen cursing people and them acting cursed is not as funny as them losing because this they're puzzled by this weird guy is pointing at them, trying to put teeth down their throats. Danhausen is an absurd character and everyone around him has to act like he's absurd, for it to work. Giving him a song that plays into it misses the whole point.
Part of the problem is there are only so many wrestlers you can feature or give air time to at any given time. Its great to have a bunch of talent on your roster but if you dont have the time to feature them all it is a no win situation. The wrestlers and the fans get frustrated.

One of the reasons is there's too many people on AEW's roster and not all of them gets used on TV or even have anything to do. Its just like WCW all over again back in the late 90's.
I think Dan Hausen could fit in NXT. His gimic would work there and he can be a staple while making decent money. I don't think he would fit the main roster, but Un NXT I'd envision him having potential to be a beloved character that eventually might win some titles such as a tag title or North American championship. Heck, down the road, maybe he'd get a short NXT Championship run. Kinda like a Mankind deal.
I think he would thrive in NXT actually, they lean in to the character aspect a lot. I know some people find some segments cringe because the acting is sometimes bad but it's still entertaining.
Which is a bad thing. If you're even a wrestling fan its best that all companies do well. It brings out the best in whatever one you like to watch. Any promoter except Tony Khan would tell you that.
IMO the policy of never releasing anyone was never realistic to begin with and also some people just need to be released rather than just sitting at home collecting a paycheck
Hook to NXT. Judgement day should have Jd and dom go after the tag titles finn should intervene as the demon and R truth will summon his on devil and Danhausen should appear. Then go NXT
They wasted Danhausen. Matt Hardy isn’t a loss. He can barely move in the ring anymore. If the Boys did indeed no show events, that will get you fired. But it’s hard to trust anything that comes out of TK’s mouth at this point.
@@ShiningJudgment666 I think that would be best for him at this point. He really can’t go in the ring anymore and Jeff can’t either. They’re a nostalgia act at this point and it’s embarrassing.
'"Green" is very polite expression. The guy doesnt listen to anyone except himself and the huge quantities of coke he consumes. He cannot make consequential story for more than 2 episodes in a row, uses the subverting the expectations tactics which is so god damn stupid especially in wrestling. He is on level of Smackdown vs Raw GM mode. Unless he doesn't hire a proper booker his company will continue to crumble.
I could easily see Danhausen coming to WWE and being another R-Truth- like character and it worker so much better. Especially with the exposure WWE would be able to give him compared to AEW's terrible booking.
"While it does shock me that he may wanna leave AEW..." It doesn't shock me in the slighest. His boss basically embarrassed himself AND Hook on Twitter. Besides, with the way WWE is going *now,* younger talent like Hook and MJF are probably better off there than with AEW tbqh. But that's just my opinion.
The boys were down to being divas and demanding to fly out of a closest airport that would have been $1500 dollars more, they were told to do a 3 hour drive then flight but they refused - can't blame aew really
That happens in every company. Releases usually happen pretty quick and so those that get released never know for sure if or when. Additionally, although the fans wanna see it, The Hardy’s against E&C may not happen in AEW bc the stars involved may not want it out of WWE loyalty bc that matchup is sort of a WWE iconic mainstay. Finally, just bc DanHousen supports Punk bc they’re friends don’t mean he wants to leave AeW. That’s a reach.
AEW Wrestlers are leaving for a number of reasons such as the booking, many get a push or no pushes then just disappear, poor communication, poor leadership, poor growth and in fact the product gets stagnant and declines, poor builds, little storyline, etc. The CM Punk interview, that will give you an insight as to why a wrestler would want to leave. Punk one of the biggest stars, left in London with no transportation to the stadium, story is similar to The Boys. While wrestlers can take care of themselves, the company does a poor job in taking care of its wrestlers. Same goes with the medical and recovery care of the wrestlers. Wrestlers seem to left on their own such as Punk's experience.
If Hook can keep his theme, he will be an NXT favorite, and after some time in the system, he could be a great upper mid card talent, maybe even main event. He’s one of my faves in AEW. I’d love to see what Danhausen can do, and I think he’d be great in NXT, as well.
If hook leaves to WWE, and if Triple H develops him well. He will be a house hold name 1 day. I don’t think you can ask for anything bigger in pro wrestling at that point, and I think hook is willing to bet on himself for that.
Danhausen is a talent to me but they have never used him right on TV. He's a Santino Marella type of comedy wrestler, but they've never used him like that in backstage segments, he's always just come to the ring as part of an entourage. He has potential to do good stuff in the back in WWE like how Hurricane did with Rock.
I will see AEW until Dynasty but after that I will stop don't know if I will go back and watch WWE, but I don't see myself watching AEW, I give them a second change after they fired Punk, but no more and they did now was far worse.
Hook needs to be on the first plane to NXT once his contract expires. I'm not a huge fan of him personally, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't see a mountain of potential there. ...and his dad should come along at his earliest convenience as well. I'm not saying Tazz should be a full time WWE commentator or anything. I want to see him as Hook's manager/mouth piece. That said, having Tazz join in on commentary for Hook's matches would be pretty cool. William Regal should do the same w/ his son. This could definitely become a "theme".
Matt Hardy can be the broken character anywhere, but is to broken down to put on a decent match anymore... NXT trainer and helping develop new stars is right up his alley. Danhausen, also needs to keep his wrestling very limited or get some time training at NXT... WWE could make money with him if they wanted. I think R-Truth is all the comedy they really need. I know punk borrowed Danhausens boots after his foot injury and they are friends. He is already a fully developed character. I am sure they could use him somewhere, and the kids would for sure buy his merch. Hook... Young, good looking kid. Legit Judo player and 2nd generation wrestler. Yeah of course WWE would want him. I hate Dalton Castle and didnt care for the boys gimmick... but Young, athletic twins, WWE might be interested.

I think for WWE Hook and The Boys would be very welcoming addition for the NXT roster especially rn with the Draft coming by the end of the month and with many of the top NXT performers seem to already be preparing for the main roster call up it would be interesting if NXT where apart of the draft and use it to announce & sign real life Free Agents.
Plus Matt rejoining WWE would be cool especially now with R-Truth expected to be more active in-ring Matt could help provide in the entertainment of backstage areas.
This all of this

Hook’s been built all of sudden up because they know he wants out . These guys who’s contracts are coming up , that Tony realizes he can’t lose, suddenly get attention. Tony don’t want him becoming a star in wwe
I don’t get the push to keep him, unless he’s over and it’s just lost on me. He dropped some scintillating promos on the last Dynamite…
Danhausen not a hit? The guy is one of AEW's top 3 merch sellers and his youtube channel is popular. He's just given nothing to do.
but AEW fans don't care for that apparently its where the best wrestle 😂
Danhausen has a massive built in fan base. I watched him in the real RoH before Tony bought it. He's actually a good wrestler. If Danhausen leaves AEW I think the WWE will sign him. They love comedy wrestlers. He would fit right in with R Truth.
i think Danhausen can only work on an indie capacity (insert joke that AEW is an indie promotion here)
Thats not true. He is allowed to work outside of India
He could work as a perfect comedy/kids merchandise seller in WWE.
the danhausen character maybe but the character work he did with it makes him perfect for wwe being able to entertain and occasionally wrestle
WWEcould use Danhausen like booghyman and Doink. A little darker but still funny wouldnt be a bad thing

My DVR has Battle Of The Belts set into it, and it didn’t even record the last one. I wasn’t mad because I knew I likely didn’t miss much.
Aew ain't been the same since Cody left

Swerve is about to win the world championship and nobody is going to care because Tony is making the company feel like a joke.
Tony is a great matchmaker, but he books his show like an EWR simulator.
Danhausen said he wanted to wrestle more than just be a character. Which is what he’s been doing in GCW, most AEW talent are allowed to wrestle elsewhere, which is what I guess he’s doing until they have a use for him? Considering the injuries he’s had lately it would make sense to get him some in ring time again
As for Danhausen, they never had any idea what to do with him in AEW. All I can think is, man, Danhausen interacting with R. Truth would be hilarious.

Danhausen just wasnt given the time and push he deserved. He hasn't had a proper single run but hell they keep pushing Orange.
Did you notice the “singles ranked #2” (or however it was phrased)? I fear World Champ Pockets is in our future this year…
Danhausen is a big merch seller but can't get anything decent to do, Orange Cassidy is supposedly a big merch mover and is a multitumw champ, probably going to be made AEW champ at some point(with the marks chanting "you deserve it") - yep, that's Tony's booking alright 😂 He'll probably end up in TNA as a manager for PCO and be successful there.

The likes of Hook & Danhausen should think about joining either TNA, NJPW, or WWE at some point soon!!
I honestly hope Hookhausen reunites in NXT and is booked so much better. Tag champs even!

One of the reasons is there's too many people on AEW's roster and not all of them gets used on TV or even have anything to do. Its just like WCW all over again back in the late 90's.
Danhausen could work if presented right and I'm not going to say NXT will be it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they took a chance on him. Maybe NWA.
I was wondering what is wrong with English people.they like Matt Hardy more than Jeff

They wasted Danhausen. Matt Hardy isn’t a loss. He can barely move in the ring anymore. If the Boys did indeed no show events, that will get you fired. But it’s hard to trust anything that comes out of TK’s mouth at this point.
Unfortunately true for Matt in AEW since the talent don't listen to the veterans. He wouldn't be wasted in WWE even in just a coaching/producer role.
@@ShiningJudgment666 I think that would be best for him at this point. He really can’t go in the ring anymore and Jeff can’t either. They’re a nostalgia act at this point and it’s embarrassing.
Tony Khan is very "green" as a promotor/owner. I know that's obvious, I just haven't seen or heard it said.

It doesn't shock me in the slighest.
Lmaoo "Oh God Hook get away" seriously though
Danhausen was accused of bootlegging merchandise and was suspended by AEW, I'm sure that didn't help him sour on AEW.
Why does every body care about Declan castle and these twins? Not a great gimmick. A bit creepy. Not in a good way
Danhausen is a talent to me but they have never used him right on TV. He's a Santino Marella type of comedy wrestler, but they've never used him like that in backstage segments, he's always just come to the ring as part of an entourage. He has potential to do good stuff in the back in WWE like how Hurricane did with Rock.
The panoramic was a crazy period in time.
I'm not a fan at all either but he does have an interesting look/character and he seems like he genuinely wants to succeed in the business

I don’t remember them doing anything with Danhausen. Like ever. Except for things in Rampage he was never seen. Which is a shame because he’s a likeable character
