@@c0de_char1ie70 I’ll forever be bitter that Star vs the Forces of Evil only got four season when it so obviously needed five, and while I definitely thing s4 of Carmen was much better than s4 of Star, I feel like it definitely should have been two different seasons.
Two final episodes were made just for trailers and teasers. Look, she is with Coach Brunt! Look, she is Faculty now! What is this? Trolling or truth? Watch our show and find out. They are not needed for the plot.
I was surprised at how dark the last episodes were. Carmen was literally tortured and spend months being brainwashed and she tried to kill her friends.
Me too. Honestly, I thought if they were gonna have such a short season they shouldn't have made her evil. She was evil in part of the final episode, the series finale. The tone set by that didn't seem right at all. Maybe if they were going to have her be evil for the first half of the season it would have worked.
It would have been nice to see Carmen get defeated by Vile, beaten in a battle, then taken. It was so boring for her to just be knocked out. I mean come on. It would have made it scarier and make Vile an actual threat. Maybe they just didn’t have enough time to make more episodes or something for that to work. Then evil Carmen would have have been more scarier than she was. Just my opinion
@@carolinepalmer5821 , that’s the point they are an actual threat because they can literally pop up out of nowhere and kidnap u. I think that made them more scary
The ending felt rushed with the "Evil Carmen" plot and VILE was very Cocky about making Carmen Faculty but I still liked it. That just proves Carmen is the only reason VILE could succeed LMAO.
I don't want to burst your bubble but Carmen is actually the main villain of the original series. So the "evil Carmen Sandiego" plot is already established since the beginning.
@@poweroffriendship2.0 That's fine but it was very rushed. I liked her becoming VILE faculty vut wished they spent more time on it. Hence why I said it was Rushed lol
I kind of like the way gray was handled in this season. It would have been cliche to have gray just go good even after the truth was revealed but I like how he’s more good by association and care for her Carmen. It’s small but I think it works.
Am I the only one who thinks he shouldn’t have become evil again? Like I get it was so that he could prove he chose Carmen over VILE in the end with the big finale, but i didn’t think that was necessary. What if he got his memories back but joined ACME not to turn good per se, but for his own reason, to get revenge on VILE? That way, the complexity of his character isn’t changed by turning him good. I found it hard to believe he agreed to go back to the organization that mind wiped him and could easily do so again.
@@siddhibalamurali9742 I agree. The show made it sound like he was going to just keep being a thief but I don't think that's what he would have done. VILE messed with his mind and basically treated him like a pawn, so there was no way he was going to go back in my opinion. Plus, he literally betrayed them to save Carmen! In short, the ending for him just didn't make sense.
@@joshuajoe1419 It feels like the only reason should've been that Carmen felt VILE was too difficult for ACME to take down quickly and efficiently but as we saw in the finale, that's obviously not the case. It was really disappointing
Yeah, it was so rushed. There was so much material there for an actual hunt-down of the villians, but for some reason the show was cut short when it obviously needed more time
I kind of feel like Player's back-to-school arc was kinda wasted, it would have been interesting (though, perhaps a bit cliche) to see him adjust to being like "most kids", or perhaps even make a friend his own age. It didn't even end with any change, he's just back at home, same as before, they just needed Player to be inaccessible for a few episodes
I think he was 13 and Carmen was 17 at the beginning. And at the end which I think was 4 years, Carmen was 21 and player 17. I think he’s just smol king.
I liked evil Carmen, seeing her do the things we knew she could with no morals was fun and seeing her trying to murder people actually made me forget this was a kids show for a bit. The one thing i would have wanted from evil Carmen would be seeing her go up vs Paperstar, absolutely dumpster her and seeing Paperstar just look in horror at Carmen and then saying something like "we were so lucky she ever cared about people".
I will always say my biggest issue with the finale was how team red and Julia was treated by Carmen. I know you brought up how Team Red just separated without a goodbye, but Julia? Julia was the one tasked and responsible for finding Carmen's mom, and she didn't get a hug or even a thank you. Julia was the only one supporting Carmen from the start and the fact they didn't get any sort of interaction at the end made me very disappointed.
I think many people will choose to believe Carmen secretly stays in touch with them all... But also, let's be honest: Carmen beat the hell out of her friends (including Jules) in the finale - I could also believe Carmen would feel so bad about it that she didn't feel comfortable talking to them again. At least not for a while.
Grey was the best in this season honestly, I liked especially his reasoning for why he wanted them to help Carmen, because his two most consistent motivations is that he has willingly chosen his life and that he cares about Carmen. Similarly to how Carmen felt compelled to interact with and help out grey when he lost his memory he also feels compelled to help her. Because as he sees it and this may as well be what happened they basically killed her, the Carmen he cared about was basically murdered but he can bring her back so of course he will take it. But wtf those last two episodes they could have been 2+ seasons
it really shows the "thief with a conscience" narrative. these people are theives for some reason, but they're not heartless, or have a lack of complete empathy. You think Grey would ever try to murder someone again?
@@lemonqvartz He said it himself in S4. He doesn't regret anything he did for VILE (which might include killing) except hurting Carmen. He's not a good person, not really. He just cares about Carmen, that's all. Meanwhile, Carmen left the only family she'd ever known because they were bad people. She can't be with somebody, romantically or otherwise, who doesn't share her strong sense of morality, the kind of person Gray calls "an innocent fool". Unless Gray changes (unlikely) I don't see how they can be anything more than lukewarm acquaintances.
Did no one else notice how, right before Carmen steals the Stradivarius violin, she says something along the lines of, "it's playing my song," and the song that was being played was the theme song from the 90's cartoon Where On Earth is Carmen Sandiego, the show that inspired this show? No one else noticed that reference? Okay.
Yeah it was an incredibly underwhelming way for VILE to score their biggest win (6 months of evil Carmen) of the entire show. I still liked the season but successfully capturing Carmen really should've happened a better way.
@@Windjammer19 True but that's not the major problem. The problem is why now? Carmen did many other things against VILE and the cleaners were never able to capture her so easily. It just winds up being quite anticlimactic. Personally I think the plan of capturing Carmen should've taken up a good chunk of an episode. Maybe have Roundabout come up with a competent plan to catch her off guard and leave her defenseless. If Robo wasn't destroyed in the previous episode that could have been used as she did fail twice before when the machine was involved.
The animation this season was GORGEOUS on a whole new level. This show has always been very pretty with the backgrounds and character designs, but the motion, colors, and details got a huge upgrade this season that almost completely made up for the weaker plot points for me.
I think they should have just extended the seasons to 16 episodes for 3 seasons. So that we could get a season a year (about) so they could add more depth to the story. I’m not complaining though it was a good show after all.
When Maelstrom was about to dip on Brunt, I was expecting VILE to tear themselves apart over the treasure. In a way, they did screw themselves over, but out of incompetence, not greed.
@@blossomnessstudios4446 I think the writers were weighed down by how good the show is. It took me a moment to realize when I first watched season 1, but the villains are predicated on the idea of being cheesy and ridiculous. And I think the writers thought they had to stick with that instead of offering a more serious ending. Their whole mind-control plan fits in with the zany, over-the-top eccentric behaviour of VILE.
Aww man I was all like "Ohh cool! Carmen is totally gonna be the bad guy until next season" And thought the gang would pursue her similar to the original show Only to realize they were wrapping the show.... I didnt know this was the last season (cries)
Ify I just went back to watching carmen since the hiatus for s3 I forgot abt this series but then i came across it again and watched it from the very begining all over again and rn I just finsihed watching the entire series and o boi i was not ready for it to end, i legit didnt know it was the last season 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵, but hey overall the series was incredible and I appreciate it. Keep on fighting the good fight. 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙜𝙤 𝙗𝙖𝙬𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨
I think they could have at least show us the moms face. Just a look of realization or something. Or something like the end of tangled where the king and queen get to hug their daughter. Just a few seconds more would have given us an emotional climax and more satisfying ending. That is my only nitpick though
@Dark Shadow Storm I loved watching the original when I was younger. the sibling rivalry, the trivia segment with the stupid virtual man, sandiego's search for her family, and the nostalgic artstyle all wrap up into a neat educational show about geography.
To be completely honest here. I never actually saw it comming. I might have had a thought about it in the first few episodes but after that I was none the wiser.
Evil Carmen had me feeling very weird because suddenly the hero was the villain but it was fun to see what she be like if she was evil even it came out of nowhere
Can’t wait for the real talk and ngl Devineaux was my favorite character because I just liked seeing him grow and stuff and I just found him fun to watch
Plus, Cleo is the only one to call Dr.Bellum by her first name (Sarah, or something like that). And when Carmen literally destroyed Bellum's entire lab, well Bellum was only talking about the crown she had to bring back to Cleo 🤣
Why are people assuming that carmens friends will just split up forever, their paths even including shadow sans, will always come to collide even after the screen fades to black, as this isn’t the end, and isn’t the beginning either, just a continuation of their stories.
I think what people have a problem with is more that Carmen never properly said goodbye to Zack and Ivy all she left them was a note after all they've been through you would expect that she would show them more respect than just leaving a note.
It's more about how they "split up", the whole situation reminded me of Red vs Blue when the "main character" at the time left the group without even saying goodbye for the sake of making the scene profound and then when the show was renewed we see how this egoistic action affected the other characters in the next season.
@@johnmarston853 in all honesty i really agree, the note just being left was kind of unpolagetically rude. But I think it was from the writers realising that they're not getting a s5, having to shove everything together in the last 2 episodes sadly.
Also, the writers probably didn't feel the need show that carmen and everybody kept in touch over the two years. They have cellphones and she's not wanted by acme so she can visit them whenever they're free.
Honestly devineaux was the standout of the season for me. Good arc progression and just really turned it around. Crackle also had a decent turnaround. Also again, lay off zack man, he doesn’t deserve this much hate..
I agree with that. I had pretty high hopes for Chase's arc thanks to The Venice caper episode and my expectations were definitely met. Gray, I was less invested leading up to, but they did a great job not rushing his arc in the last season (at least until the finale)
I was talking to my sister about the last season and said that it came across as to cluttered. Like the writers had many ideas but were told that they can only fit it into 8 episodes. They introduce so many plot points that have no consequence in the ending. Robot army forgotten, Player going to school forgotten, Vile founders for go tten.
@Dark Shadow Storm Yes but these were incredibly rushed. And had no consequence. Why have it in the first place? The ending of the season was barely if at all influenced by these plotpoints.
@@cherechesalexdaniel811 I think the robot plot was just to have an operative that was nigh-unstoppable capture Gray since a normal villain would've been too easy for Carmen. Blowing up the robots made sense. If she didn't why would VILE ever send out Tigress or even Paper Star when they can just send an army of those things? If Carmen didn't blow them up, Player would've just learned to hack them or something. They were cool for a few eps, but likely would've been bad for the show in the long run.
I wanted so much more of this season. As for the ships, I'm glad they didn't have Carmon and Grey become a thing As for the others while it would h have being cute for eather carmon and Ivy or Jullia but between you and me I'm kind of glade there wasn't any major romances. Not because I don't like gays or anything stupid like that. But rather I'm kind of tired of all these shows having romance being the final goal or what it was all about I kind of liked that carmon seemingly continued to do good and inspire good even with or with out her team.
I am with you here. While I find Carmen and Jules cute, I am immensely relieved that this show had no romance. Carmen Sandiego was never about the romance and I am glad it still isn't. All the flirting is good tho, it helps to show her wits and compensates the lack of trademark evil jokes old Carmen had.
Two things: 1. Can we aknowledge that Boris and Vlad (the cleaners) are the most capable members of VILE. 2. When Carmen was rewired by VILE she still should be able to remember Player, because she talked to him before here escape.
@Dark Shadow Storm i Knowww but im telling u i dont wanna see a fanfic of her mom lol may we see it some day though because it felt rushed a bit for the last ep
While I did like the final episode as an episode, as a finale, I have mixed feelings about it. First off, I want to mention that I did not go into this season knowing it would the the last. While I certainly picked up while watching that things were coming to a head and the end was drawing closer, I expected there to be another season where at the end of each episode, V.I.L.E. members would end up being captured until the Faculty and the Cleaners would be defeated at the very end. It wasn’t until Jules‘ line that everything has come full circle that I started to realize that this might very well be the end. And even then, I hoped that at least one Faculty member would escape with the next and final season being spent doing what I described above. However, since that didn’t happen and since I didn’t know it would be the finale beforehand, I can’t help but feel like the end was a bit rushed. Now don’t get me wrong, I certainly realize that it makes perfect sense. As I said, my feelings are mixed. I also like both how each Faculty member was taken down and that they were taken down while being separated as opposed to being together as they have been for most of the show. However, as I said, it still felt rushed. Did V.I.L.E. really not install any security systems to hold off intruders in case they were discovered? Also, I’m a bit disappointed that we neither got a final showdown between old rivals Tigress and Carmen and that Carmen‘s „showdown“ with her other rival Paper Star happened off-screen. Not to mention that not all V.I.L.E. members were captured. So while the show has ended, V.I.L.E. did not. Not truly, anyways. True, it is crumbling. But they still had a number of dangerous individuals who could have taken charge and formed the new heads of V.I.L.E. With all that being said, I do, however, like the ending these characters were giving. And while I obviously have a few problems with it, for the most part, I still enjoyed it.
I can imagine if I hadn't known this was the final season my experience would have been quite similar but I found out it was a few months before the release so that changed my perspective. I do have mixed feelings but in a bit of a different way. My worry was that it was going to feel extremely rushed and plot points were going to be dropped or handled poorly. And throughout most of the season I actually thought they were doing a great job tying up all their loose ends. The final two episodes are the only ones I'm left feeling a little disappointed by. Not because they were bad but I do think the Carmen going evil arc should have been given a bit more time. First, I think capturing Carmen should have been an episode by itself, not the last seconds of the previous one. It just comes off feeling very underwhelming knowing that the only reason VILE succeeded in turning Carmen evil was, let's face it, plot convenience. Compare the cleaners kidnapping Carmen here to when Coach Brunt showed up on the train in the Black Ice caper. Now that could have been better developed too but I can accept it quite a bit more than what we got here. Personally I'm not sure why they got rid of Roundabout, he could have come up with a clever plan to finally catch Carmen. I also think we should have gotten a scene with Carmen and the VILE faculty before they brainwashed her. Then let us see more of the consequences of Carmen turning evil. We saw a bit of her crews' reaction but I would've liked much more than we got, especially from Player. And lastly they should have shown Gray's gradually becoming disillusioned with the idea of Carmen working for VILE. His moral compass isn't that strong so I can definitely get behind the idea that he would be okay with it, even enjoy it, at first. After all this is what he wanted from Carmen since the very first episode. I like that he came around and tried to save Carmen in the end, I'm just disappointed that his arc had been quite well done up until this point and then it feels pretty rushed towards the end. Even just one more full episode could have been very beneficial in making this arc feel more proper and fleshed out. Though two, in my opinion, would have been best. Basically I enjoyed nearly every important plot point this last season but some were simply developed better than others and it feels the finale (last two episodes) sadly suffers the most from this problem. That said, overall I'm still pretty happy with what we got.
I just really wanted more from player he was my favorite character his and Carmens relationship was so interesting they had such amazing chemistry and yet he was barely in the last episode also I feel like the school plot was just wasted I really wanted to see her actually struggle without player when she can’t just call him on the phone so he can fix all her problems like what happened in the show overall the ending was ok but I really think they should more seasons maybe if we bug them enough they’ll do it 😂😂😂
@@irelyneasterling2311 Yes! I was distraught for a while after the ending, especially since Gray is one of my favorite characters and his ending wasn’t the best. Currently trying to read/get in to other shows.
I mean when Coach Brunt almost died drowning after being abandoned by professor Malestrom and then asked him if he was really gonna leave her I was so excited because I thought this was how vile was gonna be destroyed. Like we know that for Coach brunt, family is THE MOST important value and so when she realizes a member of her so called “family” decided to leave her to die for his own profit I thought this was the start of Vile’s self-destruction. Like I thought they were gonna crumble from the inside realizing they couldn’t trust each other, that in then end, all they truly cared about was themselves making a reference to when Dr.Bellum said that the reason for their operatives’ failures was human error. Like their own human selfishness would have caused the entirety of Vile to crumble.....but I guess I was wrong lmao
Same thought, Vile would start ripping themselves apart to get the treasure. Show the contrast between them and Carmen who cares for others. Acme rounding everyone up makes sense. DOESN’T mean it was satisfying though
Honestly I think the best way the show could go is if the dark red arc was a whole season or two. And Carmen spent the seasons before that growing her sqaud and recruiting EX vile ops. The show would need more seasons to do this However with what we got I think season 2 was the best season as it managed episodic stories with overarching plots. One thing that I'm scared of is this version of the character being forgotten in the future.
Hmm, that's an interesting thought! Though I feel a whole season with evil Carmen will make the whole series kinda drag, since the series is mostly focused on her being good and stuff y'know? I think they spent an adequate amount of time, maybe another episode. Otherwise, the other idea is an interesting one too! Oh well, fanfiction doesn't exist for nothing!
I was really happy with how it ended! I think that they did a good job with what they had, and I liked the fight scenes and the pacing. The animation this season was the absolute best. The colors were so beautiful. BUT I will say, the treasure hunt could have been stretched into another interactive movie/episode and I would have absolutely loved it.
OMG! Finally someone thinks the same thing! I watched it, and I was like, "ok, this is pretty good! I love that they showed Player in person and not on a screen." And then i finished it and was like, "WTF? What happened! It was good and then you rapped it all up so quickly!"
I just really wanted more from player he was my favorite character his and Carmens relationship was so interesting they had such amazing chemistry and yet he was barely in the last episode also I feel like the school plot was just wasted I really wanted to see her actually struggle without player when she can’t just call him on the phone so he can fix all her problems like what happened in the show overall the ending was ok but I really think they should more seasons maybe if we bug them enough they’ll do it 😂😂😂
I like how any time a lesbian relationship is brought up, this series is all for it despite there being no clear evidence. Yet when a relationship between characters like Mole and Goat come up with pretty heavy hinting, we are told not to read too much into it.
Omg literally same on that thumbnail. I think in general that finale could’ve been split up into 2 so we could have the catharsis of Carmen beating vile herself like always.
Mnnnn I actually loved this season...agree on the way Acme was taking down was very lame, I wanted Carmen to be the one that finish them off and I wanted Carmen vs Coach Brunt as her final boss fight after what happen in season 1, and maybe use that fake ass foreshadow of Brunt for real and let her maybe realize Acme would let her die if that means the organization live. I really liked the Evil Carmen actually loved that tension and evil Carmen was a nice callback for the original show.....now I will say if Acme could do THAT and kidnap Carmen so easily all this time, why in hell they never did that is beyond me, but still I liked that part, I just wish was early in the season and maybe let the treasure hunt part as you suggested for the actual finale. Still I disagree this been the second weakest season, I think this is my second favorite season of the show (season 2 been the best), and I just hope the team behind this show keep WORKING, seriously very talented and I want more shows in the style of animation this show have....also team She-Ra need to do something as well.
All of us were already too attracted to LITERALLY EVERY VILLAIN _and_ Carmen, they knew they couldn't make Carmen evil and give her the charm she deserved because we would all lose our gourding minds
absolutely adore how Everyone's brains just *shut. down.* the moment Madame GoldLove took off her coat. love to see it. on the topic of favourite character; Mime Bomb! and surprisingly, Neal the Eel?? i don't understand. why. why do i like him so much.
I had some thoughts I wanted you guys' opinions as well. It's a bit long, sorry! I hated that we saw almost everyone's futures, but not Gray's. VILE Faculty are in jail, Zach and Ivy are ACME, El Topo and Le Chevre own a food truck, etc., but the last we see of Gray is him in a hospital bed. And then there's the fact that he doesn't want to complicate her life, and declines Chief's offer to give her his contact info. These two have so much history together. He was her closest friend. They grew apart after Carmen's escape from the island. But this season really showed how much they both cared for each other. Carmen was willing to rescue him no matter what. But they get no closure whatsoever. Carmen thinks she's killed him, but she never comes to see him in the hospital and they never have a meaningful conversation, and it looks like they won't speak again. After all they'd been through together, this upset me. The end of the series seems contradictory to the main point of the show. We've seen that Carmen loves her family, even though they aren't related by blood. Shadow San, Zack and Ivy, and her have been through so much together. At the end, she just leaves Zack and Ivy with a mere note. That seems out of character and unlike Carmen. All of them are split up in the end, which feels weird considering the show's family theme. Many people have expressed how VILE's ultimate take down was rushed, and I agree. VILE is supposedly one of the greatest criminal organizations that exists with tons of operatives and resources, yet they were taken down in less than a minute. If you think about it, we know they have definitely been operating for 20 years (almost certainly more). So if 40 thieves graduate each year, that alone is 800 operatives in action (assuming none have retired yet). I was expecting the big finale to be a showdown with ACME and Carmen's team joining together against VILE's army. I thought the robots would play a bigger part in the plot too. Instead what we got felt very anticlimactic. Why did VILE make Carmen faculty so fast? They knew their mind wiping instruments were starting to get faulty, they knew Graham got his memories back, so it was very possible that Carmen could too. But they let her become faculty almost instantly and told her all the secrets that she eventually told ACME. Very poor move on their part. I thought the first half of this season was well paced, but the latter half was insanely rushed. Graham chose VILE's side at the end of episode 4, was absent for episodes 5 and 6, then turned himself in to ACME episode 7. He wasn't shown to be evil for long. Why not just keep him good in the first place? I think they should have made him a VILE operative only if they were going to show the Evil Carmen arc more. That way, we could have seen him struggle with his morals, and debating between good and evil. The way he switched right back to Carmen's side had no background and felt like it came out of nowhere. I honestly thought that Gray wanting to get revenge on VILE for stealing his memory and joining ACME (not turning good, just in it for himself) would have been interesting. Many have said they wanted to see more evil Carmen, and I once again agree. That would have given time to build up Ivy and Zack, show them training under Shadow San, stepping up their game. That would make it more satisfying when they are accepted into ACME at the end. No matter what, this version of Carmen has the siblings much more silly and less capable than their 90's counterparts, so this would have been a great way to show their capabilities. Some people are ok with not seeing Carmen's mom, while others aren't. Personally I'm in the middle. They put a lot of focus and time into finding her, so it would have been satisfying to see that pay off, with just a simple shot of them bonding and spending time together. At the same time, we know nothing about her mom, and maybe the writers didn't want to introduce a new character in the final episodes that they'd have to give some personality to. I would have liked to see Player at school more. The trailer made it seem like a big plot point, that Player would be less available because of school, thus making it hard for Carmen to complete her capers. But he just goes back to home schooling after the "bug problem." Once again, sorry this post is so long, but I had to get my thoughts out, and no one in my house watches this show so I can't discuss it with anyone lol. Thoughts?
@Dark Shadow Storm Oh yeah I liked that they were trying to connect it to the original series as well. If they had used season 3 better instead of having most of the episodes not move the plot along at all, maybe we wouldn't have had such a rushed last few episodes. The dark Carmen arc would have been way better if it was given more time, but anyways that's just my opinion. Thank for sharing.

@@lunamoon664 Yes, I totally agree! I think Player and Carmen's relationship was something I loved and should have been more prominent in the show. I love that Player is her oldest friend and he is the one who talks to her as she enters her mom's house. He was there with her from beginning to end. The school plot line was a waste. I was looking forward to Carmen trying to complete capers without Players' help because he was in school, but he literally went back home because of the "bug problem" and that was the end of it. Such wasted potential. Since the confirmed the show ending, I don't think we'll get more, but I really wonder about the live action movie. I love this show, it's one of my favorite Netflix originals, but the last episode was kinda anticlimactic. I was expecting more but it just felt rushed. I'm glad V.I.LE got caught, but I wish they drawn it out more like making it a 1 hour special.
Also this was absolute genius animation choices to Evil Carmen having green shade on her and while she's gone the HQ loses it's bold red, VILE being taken down is all red (plus the original series's music) and Gray has a red shade when asking Chief to help Carmen. Hope it makes it to 2021's top cartoons
1. I love the dialogue in this season. 2. Carmen is bae. 3. Every time I see the robo robbers, I blast the XANA theme. Don’t know what that is? I’m not explaining it. 4. Maelstrom pretending to conduct an orchestra is a perfect scene. 5. I found out that the Carmen x Julia ship exists and when they were fighting in the finale I went: KISS!! I was surprised at how dark the last episodes were. Carmen was literally tortured and spend months being brainwashed and she tried to kill her friends.
Vile went from cartoon villains to actually psychotic devils during the last 2 episodes

Oh yeah true! Everyone deserved some more appreciation than they got but Julia is the one that was most neglected.
I think many people will choose to believe Carmen secretly stays in touch with them all...

Okay.
What bugged me was how the cleaners were able to track Carmen like that. We never got an explanation for that.

The best thing about the finale was getting to see Best Girl Ivy in a suit. Also Devaneux’s arc was the best part of the series as a whole ^_^

The animation this season was GORGEOUS on a whole new level. This show has always been very pretty with the backgrounds and character designs, but the motion, colors, and details got a huge upgrade this season that almost completely made up for the weaker plot points for me.
The finale was just made to have everything come full circle including Grays whole arc. Which I can at least appreciate.

Why are people assuming that carmens friends will just split up forever, their paths even including shadow sans, will always come to collide even after the screen fades to black, as this isn’t the end, and isn’t the beginning either, just a continuation of their stories.
Yeah. Just because we got to see a limited amount of their lives doesn't mean their lives ended! They still have so much ahead of them!

Zack's scene with shadowsan was really cool. I think zack is annoying, but it's fun to see him annoy someone else

This season was so breathtaking, but so short
Honestly I think the best way the show could go is if the dark red arc was a whole season or two. And Carmen spent the seasons before that growing her sqaud and recruiting EX vile ops.
The show would need more seasons to do this
However with what we got I think season 2 was the best season as it managed episodic stories with overarching plots.
One thing that I'm scared of is this version of the character being forgotten in the future.
Hmm, that's an interesting thought! Though I feel a whole season with evil Carmen will make the whole series kinda drag, since the series is mostly focused on her being good and stuff y'know? OMG! Finally someone thinks the same thing! I watched it, and I was like, "ok, this is pretty good! I love that they showed Player in person and not on a screen." And then i finished it and was like, "WTF? What happened! It was good and then you rapped it all up so quickly!"
I just really wanted more from player he was my favorite character his and Carmens relationship was so interesting they had such amazing chemistry and yet he was barely in the last episode also I feel like the school plot was just wasted I really wanted to see her actually struggle without player when she can’t just call him on the phone so he can fix all her problems like what happened in the show overall the ending was ok but I really think they should more seasons maybe if we bug them enough they’ll do it 😂😂😂
@@lunamoon664 very true. Hmmm... well, looks like I need to start writing letters to the studio! Lol
@@MinnoB Please do I need more seasons I don’t think I’ll survive quarantine without knowing there’s more coming 😂😂😂
I like how any time a lesbian relationship is brought up, this series is all for it despite there being no clear evidence. Yet when a relationship between characters like Mole and Goat come up with pretty heavy hinting, we are told not to read too much into it.
He was being sarcastic about them not being gay. Y'know because it's a sarcastic summary.
@SAGE INFANTINO I wasn't talking to you
Who??? I forgot most of the characters lol
El Topo x Le Chèvre is the gay ship lol.
You do realise he shipped both of them in the other reviews right
When you’ve been waiting a damn while and then see it was posted just 15-16minutes ago: Y E S
Omg literally same on that thumbnail. I think in general that finale could’ve been split up into 2 so we could have the catharsis of Carmen beating vile herself like always.
I was waiting so long for this!
Like no joke the second it popped up I clicked so fast!
Just finished watching this show earlier this morning. Loved it. Maybe even one of Netflix's best 😊
My favorite shows on Netflix:
1. Arcane
2. Carmen sandiego
When he booked it with the fake turtle, I actually laughed harder than I thought I would.
There is no heterosexual explanation for El Topo’s little arm rub
Honestly there is no heterosexual explanation for half of this show
*Only* half?! ;)
“The disrespect” LMFAO
I friggin loved this season. Evil Carmen, uh- more backstory?
And bottom and top owning a food truck toghether
"it's a sweet moment. Some people ship those two, tho."
Everything has been said
Hehehe girls with muscles

Yes, yes, yes!
hehe girls
Why is this so goddamn funny?! Every word you've said when sassing the show made me smile!
The vile treasure hunt arc and evil Carmen arc should've been 2 separate seasons tbh
it was so rushed honestly, they could have made the vile treasure hunt arc like 3-4 episodes, same with the evil carmen arc.
I WAS SO HAPPY THEY WENT TO VIENNA, BECAUSE I LIVE THERE AND RECOGNISED ALL THE PLACES
I LOVED IT WHEN THEY WENT TO MY COUNTRY TOO
That's so cool!!!
But he just goes back to home schooling after the "bug problem."
Once again, sorry this post is so long, but I had to get my thoughts out, and no one in my house watches this show so I can't discuss it with anyone lol.
I just really wanted more from player he was my favorite character his and Carmens relationship was so interesting they had such amazing chemistry and yet he was barely in the last episode also I feel like the school plot was just wasted I really wanted to see her actually struggle without player when she can’t just call him on the phone so he can fix all her problems like what happened in the show overall the ending was ok but I really think they should more seasons maybe if we bug them enough they’ll do it 😂😂😂
@@lunamoon664 Yes, I totally agree!
Will it continue in this universe where the cartoon left off with the same characters? Or will we get a totally new storyline? Can't wait to find out.
@@siddhibalamurali9742 If they do do the movie I hope it starts we’re the show ends and hopefully they don’t cut out player he’s such an important character also I really hope they cast Finn wolfheart as player I now it’s a low chance but I’m crossing my fingers
@@lunamoon664 that would be great! I can imagine Finn as Player for sure. I also hope they continue this storyline. It would be cool if the remaining VILE operatives team up to try and recreate VILE, and Carmen had to come back to take them down.
The treasure hunt reminded me of assassin's creed for some reason.
i just finished it, and im crying. ive been watching all of it for a long time and its such a great series to watch. do recomend.
Man I really liked this season. A couple hiccups regarding the ending and resolution but it’s still really good. Good enough to say that this is probably my favorite Netflix animated show. The entire series is THAT good
Paper Star is best girl and you can’t convince me otherwise.
I LOVED HER😭😭
She kinda scared me tho ngl
I freaking lost it when he called chief "light hope" 😂😂😂
I've been searching for this comment 🤣🤣
Carmen Sandiego-📚
Carmen Sandiego if her and acne communicated-📕
You have no Idea how happy I am that you made this
Tbh. The show was amazing, i cried at the ending yall omg.
Tbh I loved this finale more then slot of other cartoons even when it was mysterious
It really just hurt because they didn’t even get canceled. They just said “ya, no that’s good. Peace”
How could you shadow drop this on me man, that's not cool I've been waiting for this
To quote the best line from a show that was really good when it knew what it was: "The mime is obviously a genius."
Devino is definitely a god of immortality for surviving a 50feet drop onto a car and still just walks as if nothing ever happened 30 seconds later
devino only talent is his luck of escaping weird accidents cuz we all know he is not able to do anything else
hes so dense n cute, its his power
You're great, good job.
I'm so sad this ended, felt like there was more there. Curse netflix's '4 season death sentence'!
y'all noticed how this season's theme was gold lmao? like how last season's was masks
The line on your thumbnail was pretty much my exact reaction. The last episode could have and should have been two.
Also how did you miss the opportunity to call him DADo-San? Shadow daddy does not work as well.
Like honestly, I have been waiting so long for this. Keep up the outstanding work ❤❤
Anyways, this was a good finale.
I hope that they would make another season because it is a great show
Im glad im not the only one upset about how they left Zac and Ivy
Light Hope!!!! Oh my frickin gawd the parallel. I CAN'T!!
