Hi there! For many people, I will agree that there are other routes, although I wouldn't necessarily promote not going to college! :) However, with so many options in our world today, there are a lot of very successful people who did not go to college, but there are also a lot of people who are successful because they went to college. I think it is case-by-case! :) Thanks so much for stopping by!
Like Jessica said it is a case-by-case thing. My mom majored in Criminal Justice and ended up being a Teacher. I am still in college figuring out life but I started as a Fashion Major and changed to teaching. People are just constantly growing and changing! What I have learned growing up is to simply love and support those around you with whatever they choose to do with their life :)
I must say I truly appreciate the way you describe your outfits. I am totally blind and I'm always wondering what the latest fashions are at Cetera. So thank you for describing them. I think your videos are awesome.

In the States you have the varied practical yet joyful way of being attractive and comfy at work, especially with the kids who go to school in multi colors. It makes for fun teaching. Thank you for sharing your outfits per day for the week. The teacher’s wear shows her joy and alertness level. God is a liberating yet tremendously fun Creator! God is good!

Wow! I'm just impressed that you were able to wear jeans and worry about keeping warm on field day. Ours was the week after yours and it was in the low 90's and we were literally BAKING. I detest dread day every year because of the heat.

When I was little I would always play teacher, and in the back of mind it would always be something I am interested in. I am not a teacher, nor do I plan on pursuing that in this very moment, but you make that thought come back! Lol Idk how I got to your channel but I love your videos!

Omg for some reason watching this reminded me of a story that happened in my 5th grade math class (we switched for only math to prepare for 6th grade😂):
So one day we were all just sitting in class silently doing our math class work, and then someone looks up and sees our teacher just walking around, and they see something that kinda looks like a tail stuck on her jeans. At first everyone was confused, then we realized it was a hair extension!! It fell to the floor, and she then started talking to the class about something, and she was walking back and forth and stepping all over the extension that had by now fallen to the floor. Then, she tries to subtly kick the extension under the table, but it didn't work. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but I think she deserved it because she was a mean teacher 😂😂😂

Yes! I think the ones I have are from Target or Kohl's! Sorry, not exactly sure - they don't have the brand listed on them, but I have found that I love the ones with the little clear, grippy dots on them. :)

I live in ireland and its cold here atm. I have my first week of teaching work experience for college soon and i have no idea what to wear! Im going to try to model some of these outfits if thats ok!! I know we are not allowed to wear jeans haha. I am a bigger build so high cut tops seem like the way to go?

I am pursuing a early childhood degree, but I was told before that teachers weren't allowed to wear jeans (that there were dress codes for what you can/can't wear).. does it just depend on the school you teach at?

I'm a sucker for mustard - I feel like it fits more moods and goes better with more skintones than bright or even pale yellow. I wear a cami or tanktop under all my shirts - you never know how your shirt might ride up during the day!
I definitely agree with mustard! Bright yellows do not go well with my skin tone. I agree about the tank tops, too. They act as a security blanket! :) I don't even want to worry about having a "whoopsie" moment!

Great outfits! Glad I'm not the only one who's not afraid to wear heels to school :D Does your school has regulations about wearing jeans on certain days or are you allowed to wear pretty much whatever you want?

Love it!!! :) Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope it works for her, as well! This particular school actually encourages teachers to wear jeans. 98% of our kiddos are living in poverty and dressing more casually creates a more "family-friendly" environment. I tend to still wear other things, as I just prefer to dress up just a little bit, even though we can pretty much wear whatever we want any day of the week. :) At my last school, we were allowed to wear jeans on Fridays ONLY unless we had a special day, such as a field trip or field day. :) I think it really just depends on the school!
Or perhaps even the country. I'm from the Netherlands and we don't have a dress code at all. So i wear jeans a lot although I also like to dress up with skirts and dresses.
It makes sense to try and adapt your outfit choices to the population you're teaching.
