Forever 21 camis are so cheap and comfortable! They're my go-to for under-shirt wearing too! We got that cold weather on Wednesday here in Montana. We had a day and a half of rain (snow all around us in the higher elevations because we live in a valley). Got to break out a new pullover I snagged in the clearance at Target, though. As much as I love sweaters and pullovers and feeling cozy - I wish we could have more warm days.

I used to have a teacher in primary school who allways came in school wearing flip flops. Like i remember when we had a beach trip in the final year i wore flip flops there expecting to be the only person wearing them but alot of people did. Weirdly we thought it would be fun to try on each others lol. What's funny is i had haviannas and now i have a different pair so they where like wow yours are so cool. Its a shame now in secondary school they dont let you wear flip flops on non school uniform days. Rip i allways did in primary cuz there just all-round great shoes for long days in class.
I'm actually jealous of your cool temperatures! We skipped winter in New Orleans this year. I finished school last Thursday, and I start teaching summer school on Wednesday. Thankfully it's only three weeks.
Hi! I just watched your video on state testing and I am actually not a teacher I am a middle school student! I do not believe in state testing because I have had questions on these tests that ask us students things that we have not learned and it really agitates me because I work hard to achieve good grades and get into advanced classes so I am against state testing. I also plan on being a teacher for my career so you have been a great inspiration for me!

I was also asked to speak at a statewide conference this summer for new teachers. :) Everyone is super supportive!

Hey, so I'm a high school senior right now and I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do in the future in terms of my career. For a while, I thought I would love teaching kids. However, the salary of a teacher scared me. I'm not obsessed with money and I really don't need it to be happy, but I'm just scared that as a teacher I'll always be stressed about having enough money to pay my bills and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Do you have any advice for me in this situation? By the way, your videos are so nice and make me want to be a teacher even more!
Layla Telab Hey! i'm a sophomore in college and i'm an elementary education major! i actually had the same thoughts as you, i'd always kind of wanted to teach kids deep down but was so scared about the salary that i didn't pursue it. then i woke up and realized that this is the rest of my life and i need to do what i love and am passionate about. teachers don't make a ton but it's definitely not a salary you're going to be struggling with. you'll have plenty to pay bills and support yourself. once you get married you'll also have your spouses income to help out. you should be able to live pretty comfortably! honestly that is the last thing you should worry about when choosing a career path! follow your heart! i hope everything goes great for you (:

Any teacher person can answer this question, but I've always wondered; why are teachers allowed to wear jeans on Friday's? I never understood the rule or concept behind that.
We made slime as a class this year and the kids LOVED it! :) As far as fidgets go...I think the original intent of them is fine, as I do have special needs students who have benefitted from them in the past. However, recently, they have been "trending" and have become "toys" in the classroom. They have been extremely distracting, to the point where I had to take them away. I loved them before they became a "toy" for every single child! :)
It all depends on when you go back, she'll have to go back in early august, and you won't have to go back until late August, early September, or middle September. I got out May 18, but I have to go back August fourth
