- Where to find the best FREE Treasure Islands in Animal Crossing New Horizons, how to use them and the basic etiquette! I use these treasure islands all the time and they are so easy, but there are rules that you need to abide by when you go!!
This is a beginner guide and I know I missed out on some helpful information so if you would like to please leave a comment below with you fave tips and tricks for visiting New Horizon's Treasure Islands!

Heck yeah, also like I know I’m not the only one who refuses to believe anyone with a perfect 5 start island didnt go to a treasure island like cmon, terraforming is expensive and getting items takes up lots a time

Really love what these people are doing and I'm grateful, my problem is with the Animal Crossing devs, why do they love to make it as annoying as possible when visitors arrive or depart? Literally got stun locked and couldn't pick up nor move for more than 10 minutes

That is not an issue that the devs create. They want everyone to enjoy their islands as much as possible. The issue lies in the fact that people come and go one after another. In some places, people go as groups. a group of say 4-5 people arrive one after another and meet at the airport and leave when everyone is finished. It all depends on whos running the island and how busy the island may be. There could be a hundred people waiting to visit for example
@@aiswallenstein2284 no it is the problem because they don't at least give the option to skip it, so even if its just you and friends everyone will HAVE to sit through that unskippable animation
another annoying thing is when you have to wait like an hour to actually get to one of the islands because the islands keep getting full
@@aiswallenstein2284 I don't mind people coming and going as it's a public island it's the fact that the game stops and were forced to watch an announcement of randoms coming or going for like 5min is what really Annoys me and a lot of other players
The only really annoying part about going to a Treasure Island is if you are on a really popular island is the number of interruptions you get when people are constantly coming and going because then we all have to wait for what feels like an eternity before we can get back to what we were doing it's a revolving door
Agreed, I was actually just complaining of this, wish they would just zap in and out like when we get called from Tom just a flash and there.
Just learned about these, this video helped immensely! I was a little on the fence about going to these because it can be seen as cheating, but I mean it's Animal Crossing, who is it hurting, y'know? It's not like this is a very competitive game anyway haha

Treasure islands are absolutely amazing but they are the most annoying because of the amount of people that are leaving and joining lol
YES most of them are super annoying that way, that's why I like smaller streamers, my fave is Jobee Fam

I really appreciate the treasure islands with villager photos! I was able to grab the photos of all my past villagers who moved before I got their photo, plus it allowed me to grab a few just for aesthetic decoration without having to grind through the actual villagers! Bunnie, Freckles and Puddle’s photos look great in my pink kitchen.

The amount of time and effort people put into these islands for others is incredible. I think everyone should be mindful of that and can't imagine anyone not being kind and thankful.

I'm at one rn and it's so laggy and I love them sm they always have what I need
IKR. I'm designing a private one ATM, and even though 90% of the work is done in a save editor, or through an emulator if you want to flesh things out before hosting, the amount of setup you have to do is kind of immense took 3 hours just flattening the world, clearing all the junk, and making paths in my case cause it is a private one I made 3-Wide Paths, and I haven't even gotten to adding stuff in, I just learned how to spawn items in bulk.
Although even though I know how to add items, it's knowing what items to put, and how to present... which is a real hassle, which is why I came here just to see examples
If you want less interference while using treasure islands, I highly recommend playing late at night. (We’re talking 2am late). I stayed up going to treasure islands until two and I only got interference about every 30 minutes. (Cross islands) so it made my experience a lot better!

I never would have been able to get the Sanrio items without visiting a treasure island. It's so nice to be able to visit these places & get a chance to get the exclusive items. I didn't know about the recipes thing or the cataloging thing either! I went to treasure islands for the first time last night & was learning recipes and stuff but thankfully i ended up being the only one on the island since it was odd timing, so at least I didn't mess anyone up too bad lol.

How do you get treasure islands
I just started playing AC like last week and as someone who’s very impatient they’ve been soooo helpful allowing me find furniture and like clothes I really want! I had no idea these were even a thing until my friend recommended I visit one!! I think i spent like five hours hopping around a couple 😅
Thanks to this video I finally decided to give treasure islands a try and I'm so glad I did! Now I dont have to grind and I can just focus on decorating 😌

Honestly, I don’t know if I should love you or hate you for introducing me to Treasure Islands. On the one side, I finally have the DIYs for stuff that I never got and wanted so much and items I never even know existed. On the other hand I feel like I’m super addicted now and am not playing the game nice and relaxed anymore.

I have a residential eating area where my residents live and I managed to get all the turkey day items to make it from nookazon but trying to get a cornucopia is impossible trader's either have offers dating back from months ago and are not accepting any offer or people want silly amounts for them I offered 100 nmts for 1 and still got denied 😭

I have to say the idea of other people coming and going sounds a little stressful but if it’s free I guess it’s worth a shot! I recently restarted my game and went to one that I found on Etsy just to refill my DIYs and it was nice but I only ordered 30 mins so it was a bit rushed 😅
The online also takes FOREVER when flying to islands… typically once i get the dodo code, i go watch norm acnh content
It can take some time, I tend to choose ones that have less people watching. Also there are a good number who also share awesome ac content so I tend to support those ones

Just a heads up about the free ones: they can get super crowded and you will have to wait about 5 minutes or so every time someone decides to leave or enter the island

Restarted a second island on a different switch, and honestly I love this community and treasure islands xD xD
Pee Pod Bay is a really nice one so is Sakuraa Gaming would recommend those a variety of different items and free come and go trips. I think the worse one I found was Nookémon Network, the items on the free island is only royal crowns and NMT, the owner was constantly pushing for donations by closing the free island and banned people who said that they couldn't donate. Yeah avoid that one like the plague.
