I HATE when people leave through the minus button. If there wasn't a previous save, it takes stuff out of your inventory or can crash the island. It's so annoying

I've been seeing these 'treasure island' streams on Twitch but I didn't know what it was. I finally learned about it 2 days ago and went to a couple island and honestly it's a game changer for me! I'm currently trying to minimize my screen time for health but still want to be able to play the game, so I got max bells and now I can lower my screen time and just focus on decorating when I play
I'm so glad that you find treasure islands useful!! I completely agree about minimizing screen time. Avoiding the 'grind' time is so helpful in that way!!
things like this are why im personally pro cheating in games like animal crossing, you arent harming anyone elses gameplay and sometimes its useful in example your case!

Really enjoyed this video regarding treasure islands as I have only been using one island and as you said it can be very hard to get on them at times. Keep in mind that with the update, they're very full rn , it's crazy I've tried for hours but couldn't get in until about 5 hour's later

I went to my first treasure island today and it's seriously a life saver! I don't have much unlocked right now but I'm trying to do an elaborate build and I got so many materials from just one visit!

Thanks for showing max bells! I've been curious about how that works. I've actually visited some treasure islands since your first video about them and the problem for me is not getting there or the constant green banner of someone arriving or leaving but me actually leaving them lol that's where my patience runs out. Also every time I run near the edge of those islands I think I'm going to fall.

EDIT: I go to more popular islands and they are always busy. I don't mind the loading, since it always saves the progress. I've had island crashing and if nothing is saved, you've lost everything. So everytime it saves, I know my inventory will stay with me. I usually just watch TH-cam during trips.

The rubbish bin tip was helpful. Discovered the twitch treasure Islands about 3 weeks ago and the interference is insane! But I got everything I wanted and now just pop back for things I need for builds.
And agreed, leave via the airport and have good Internet connection!

Great video! I've tried paid versions via Etsy with good luck (an hour unlimited trips, private - only me - woot woot) but I'm going to give this method a try for the decorations/furnishings I would like to get - thanks so much for the tips and tricks!

Thank you for this . Treasure Islands are great for seeing what the game actually offers . I did not know that my Switch would keep a record of " everyone you've played with " and now have way too many on that list , don't know if that list effects my ability to play with ppl in real time. I suspect it might.
interesting - I've never heard of that effecting who you would be able to play with before. I'm not sure...

The TreasureIslands sub discord is super positive! Today’s my last sub day though since I cancelled my subscription, I had about a month to enjoy it! It’s great and very informative, they’ve been having quite severe router issues recently, though.

The weird negative number is def the result of an overflow. A negative result happens when two positive numbers are too big for the bits to handle (: Ha I guess my comp sci classes haven’t been for nothing 😅
