I hope that someone from that game studio will look at those that decided this should be the final version and tell them “I told you so”… Because they really didn’t pay attention to what works or doesn’t.
I got this game from the Nintendo Switch eShop tonight...when I was on the verge of becoming a teenager, I discovered Twinsen's Odyssey, the sequel to the original LBA game. So many good memories. I'm happy that I can rekindle some happy memories of my pre-teen life.
Well, if they would've given us the demo with this actual intro and not something from much later into the game, we would've had the chance to tell them why it's a complete NO-NO, but they chose not to do it, so this is what we got... I wouldn't even know where to begin, it has so many confusing parts that make no sense whatsoever, it would basically need to be re-done from scratch... I'm so sorry for them cause obviously they've put SO much effort into building this game, but failed on the story/direction/ideas/design/decisions, which ultimately make all that effort go down hill. It's like having a Ferrari but missing few small parts that won't allow you to start the engine.
I find the remake fun, and I grew to enjoy the updated graphics. But the game's childishness is annoying, as is the art book. The original had better vibes - the world was dark and you could feel something sinister was going on. Here the story has been watered down, probably to appeal to kids.
@@luckyluckymachen i was banned for hate speech on steam in the forums by pointing out all the woke problems infested into this remake. I only spoke the truth and they perma banned me for it. That's fine I vote with my wallet and refuse to give money to this garbage.

Horrible to what they did to this series! This game is for little children not like the original, also has VERY CHEAP MOBILE GAME vibes. Horrible art style. They should be ashamed really, this is disrespecting the fans. I guess the intention was good, but a developer should listen to the fans and stay true to the original version and improve it before making a remake.

The demo isn't "much later" in the game. It's just a tiny bit later and is the start of the original. The remake is pretty good though.

Oh this looks so bad and that was just watching the first 10 minutes. I know the die hard fans want this remake so badly but this is not how its done.
The keyboard controls are awful...

They remade it and made it pretty fun. Not that the original isn't fun, just that this remake is fun in a different way.

As a fan of the series, I love how the remake looks and plays. I'm playing through it and getting to enjoy the game all over again.
