Finished with Paper Mario and looking for something similar, look no further, Necro Story is the game for you. It´s a turn based RPG with lots of humour! There is a deo out on Steam and we had the pleasure of playing through the extended demo. Join us and like/subscribe so you don't miss out on great indie gems.
About the Game:
Necro Story is a light-hearted RPG where you play as a powerful and (kind of) evil Necromancer. Helped by the ghost of a playful white mage, you must sneak into the Underworld to save humanity. Cast powerful spells, raise armies of skeletons, sign Dark Pacts with demons and capture dead enemies' souls to take control of them.

Use in-depth skill trees and upgrades to carve out your own playstyle
Transform into powerful Demons by signing Dark Pacts
Take control of enemies by capturing their souls

The art style is great and the controls in both combat and platforming feels really good
In fact, it is very sad to realize that she died without meeting her relatives 😢
It really is… This game gets one thinking about how one spends their days.

either the ghost uses any pronouns, or i just learned that they're different ghosts, not just the same ghost in different forms. for the original ghost (shown in mansion and terrortown), the pronouns "he" is usually used, although with the northpole it states: "who is this little ghost, and why is *she* all the way up north in the freezing cold?" huh. fascinating.
It's like "Deja Vu", "L.A. Noire" and "Dick Tracy"...but with animals.
