I haven't found a comaprison between this and the Kodak Instant Dock. Both use different printing technology but people praise both for the quality of print

Can you use printer paper you already have laying around the house?
@@Sissymtz Hi Monica! I don't think so, the edges of the Selphy Brand post cards make it larger than 4x6 (then you break off the edges to make the picture 4x6) so i don't think you can use regular post cards. Hope this helps!

Hello and thanks for the video. I have a Canon selfy cp810 and I can no longer print a photo, it doesn't recognize them on the flash drive, it doesn't see them at all. I tried in other formats than jpeg but no way, I even stripped the exif metadata from the photos without success. I use a Mac with Ventura and even wanting to try with the software it is not supported. Can you help me please? Thanks in advance.

Hi! If you download the Canon Selphy app, its in the collage section (you have to enable photo access) hope you were able to get it to work!
Which printing sheet is the best so far? And why didn’t you get the latest model instead
I just use the printing sheets that come with it, they work great. I didn't get the latest model because at the time, this one was $20 cheaper and by all accounts in my research, it performed basically the same. I did pick up the new one for my mom though and will probably upload another video comparing the two. Spoiler alert, it's basically the same haha

You have to gently pull out the ribbon out from the rollers and clear out paper too carefully
One of the three colors to print a color photo 3 color heat transfer RIBBION and clear coat that's what the yellow is for
i have problem. i want to connect with pc via usb and pc not recognise it. you know what need to do? im trying to install the driver but the driver need the printer connected. But is connected but cant see

Good review and I had considered buying one but when you compare your bright white T shirt versus the photo it appears yellow/white. Adam D did a “warning before buying a canon Selphy 1500 “ and frequently printed a woman wearing a white hat and despite many adjustments made her bright white hat looks like your t shirt. I have a full size 5 color canon inkjet and the whites are white. Still , printing a iPhone photo on an inkjet and getting a full 4 by 6 is impossible so even with the off white rendering of the selphy it seems worth
Can you print 4x4 photos
Hi Veronica, I don't believe so, but you are able to custom print sizes (4x4 for example) and then cut off the end part that you don't need. One way to do it is to put your 4x4 square picture in the collage with another picture that is 2x4 and cut it, hope that helps!
Selphy and AirPrint is a mess. I love Selphy, so no iPad for me.
Why are you saying 6" x 8" prints - it only does 4" x 6" ?!

When you are starting the video having to read the reference of the product you are reviewing... not a good start, not knowing what you are talking about...
Can a person technically challenged use this printer.
Once you get past the initial set up its quite simple to print. Just follow the instructions in the video, you got this!

I'm getting older and I'm ashamed to say that the older I get, the worse I get with tech. I used to buy a new printer or scanner or fax machine (Yes, I'm that old.) and not even read the instructions.
Now? I have to find the magnifying glass so I can SEE the instructions, then I have to watch half a dozen TH-cam videos because I learn better by watching, and at that point I can usually set up whatever the new toy is. This is super easy to use, other than remembering which way to put in the tray- I finally grabbed a sharpie and made an arrow on the bottom of mine.

Lovely but about 90 percent useless. WHO can precisely provide set up. So far., none. And not you. You gave it a really nice view but not much help. Except to load paper and ink.
