Peavey USA Vs Ken Smith USA

- Simple comparison mostly flat trying Both Pick Up, Neck and Bridge of these somehow two similar sounding basses but with a huge price difference.
For you who have tried these 2 brands let us know how's the comparison according to you.
For me I love both, Peavey for a simpler plug n play, Ken for a more sophisticated sound choices.

Great comparison!!! I used to own a Cirrus USA 5 Bubinga/Walnut and a Smith Black Tiger 5 and I miss them both!!!😢🙁🙁For the money, the Cirrus USA is a bargain and one of the best basses ever made. Next to the Smith, the Cirrus is the second-best bass I've ever played!!!
I need to try the US Cirrus 5, lemme know if there's one cirrus 5 around ;)
The 2 are good , no preference
The tone on the Smith is very rich and lush. The Peavey is decent as it has a good overall sound, but some of the frequencies aren’t as accurate as the Smith in the mix.

Ken Smith hands down!!!❤ the peavey sounded fantastic,but it can't touch that Smith!
The KS is quite intimidating with its preamp set ;)
@@RamaNatan compared to that sire preamp (M5/7 specifically), it’s quite easy to wrap my head around 😅
quite nice budget preamp for Sire M7, but hey, other factors create the sound outside of the pre@@Ben-ic1ve

As a new cirrus owner, definitely the smith. Has a more even and pronounced sound. Definity think think the peavey gets to that smith sound a little, but not quite there (at least from what I hear here)
the strings on the Peavey isn't as fresh as on the Ken. But price point this Peavey is quite entertaining, nice built as well, simpler sound than Ken that has more choices and more boutique feel. Don't mind to own both :)

I own the cirrus. I have the bubinga/walnut wood combo. These get yhe closest to the ken tones
The punch with that wood combo is killin
