27:22 The HEAT round on that tank actually have more *long* range pen then the panzer 4 F2 does. At medium and short range it's of course outclassed by the F2 variant. If the target is stationary then just use the range finder and adjust the sights and you're a better superlong range sniper then short range brawler given that your HEAT rounds can reliably pen stuff that can't pen you back (we're talking 2 km distance kind of things, not that you'll get many chances to fire that far away on WT maps).
the short 75 muzzle velocity makes it essentially impossible to hit anything at that range. yeah HEAT is nice for long range but you actually gotta hit the shot. id say the F2 is a far more potent sniper in that regard as you have enough pen and a flat shooting trajectory.
@@Yung_pindakaas Nah, the velocity is just fine as long as the enemy is stationary (for instance tunnel visioning while aiming at a team mate). You just adjust the sight so the middle of the scope is aimed further away. I've had several kills in the panzer 4 F1 on Kursk and Mozdok at essentially the other side of the map, from one ridge to the ridge on the opposite side of the map. The slow velocity also means that the round comes down from essentially above so they don't really see it comming, and since it's comming down from above it also lands on the less armored parts of the tank like the roof... Don't get me wrong, it's not *easy* but you can get accurate measurements of distances up to 1,5 km away with the rang finder and past that you can use experience to judge distances to hit pretty close, and then zero in on them. When they're snipping they tend to tunnel vision at this br anyway, so you can usually get 4-5 shots down landing right next to them before they notice that you're even shooting at them...

The sturmpanzer II is better at fighting top tiers than it’s own. Also the 35 and 38 have better armor than you give them credit for. It’s a case of ‘just enough’ in every way. Yeah idk why he prefers heat on early pz4
56mm of pen is enough for practicly all enemies you'll fight with these cannons, unless you're playing Pz.III N at 3.0-4.0 for some reason.
The sturmpanzer II is better at fighting top tiers than it’s own.
Also the 35 and 38 have better armor than you give them credit for. It’s a case of ‘just enough’ in every way. Firepower is *just enough* to deal with most targets. the mobility is *just enough* to keep up with the flow of battle. The armor is *just enough* to get lucky.
