    I can’t believe some of the comments on here. It’s almost like they didn’t even watch the video. First, the point of this whole project is to inspire people to think out of the box. If you don’t have a ton of money for booms and sliders and cameras you can accomplish a very good product by creatively using the drone in the air and handheld. Second, the drone can be used like a three axis gimbal and camera combo. You can film without even turning on the motors so there is no noise created by the props.

    What I'm really interested in is the wireless video. The inspire 1had terrible lag and problems which made it almost unusable because the reliability was alway in question. I noticed here you guys seem to be using a different wireless video transmitter solution. Can you comment on an increase of wireless video stability?

  • @KaceyBakerFilms

    Would really love to see a BTS on the colour grading and correction. Thats where the 2nd half of this cinematic look is made. I've seen this camera's footage in the hands of prosumers and looks nothing like this footage. just like you're average home video stuff. This looks like a real film, I'm afraid myself or most people buying this camera may never have the expertise to make footage look this good. Given it's price point, if DJI were to provide a CG tut, you'd probably outsell cameras like the SF7, C300 and Scarlet etc...

Shooting near Santa Paula really is great to tell a story set in the depression. They used it in The Rocketeer too.

    Why doesn't dji just make an accessory like the osmo handle but instead of a one hand grip style a two hand steady cam style since it is already gimbal stabilized and the X5 is a little bigger and more of professional camera.

    • @Dduerto

      Jason Bryant yeah I know but I'm saying to use with the X5 camera. Not a dsrl or red or black magic. So it would be an accessory like the osmo grip.

    so its a flying Ronin or a movi. nevertheless, its a cute way to showcase the use of a drone. the part that shines here is the camera. the handoff to handheld mode is quite obvious in the Z-axis plane though...

    This would have been a lot more impressive without a full on professional hollywood crew. You want to show what you can do with this on a low budget, make a short film on a low budget without expensive camera rigs that cost 10x what they drone does.

    • @andrew1977uk

      most of the shots are done sans propeller. Just holding the drone, this will allow the audio to be synced via time frames. The aerial shots only had music

  • @ricardourroz9322
    @ricardourroz9322 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great video. Although the only thing I would point out is that it´s a video about the capabilities of the camera not the drone it´self. The short film could be done with another camera and a small stabilizer, and yes, the flying parts with the Inspire2 or even the 1 and would have been as good. Never the less great!

    • @djSiMuL
      @djSiMuL 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're trying to sell more of the Inspire 2 drones, so I'm fairly certain this was indeed about the drone and not the camera, especially given this camera has been out for a couple years already.
