Andee Green thanks Andee! when I started, I didn't know how many people would be watching, it was more of an experiment! Now I have to always up my game, you know? anyway, I appreciate the comment buddy!
Yesssssss finally awesome hey Marty could you do a tutorial on The Payback by James brown and also maybe a tutorial on how to play Rock with You by Michael Jackaon
I really enjoyed your free lesson, you made it simple yet you added those transposed chords, and the different way depending on if you are alone or with a band.... thanks a lot, i will subcribe to you,,, Peace out
Hey Marty! Could you please do a video on how to play the outro solo of 'What's Going Down'' by Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! :D
Thanks Marty, I've always wanted to know what chords were used.... guess cause I thought it more complicated.... You made it to where, it's a piece of cake !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great lesson. James Brown the hardest working man in show business, the God Father of Soul and 14 children, busy man yo !!! If this song doesn't get your body moving, GOD help you. Play that funky music Marty, you are sounding real good. Thanks.
I agree - probably a classical. They tend to have wider necks, so there's more space between the strings, and classical guitar strings are easier on your fingers when you first start playing. Beware though - if the neck is too wide, that can be tough for a beginner as well, since you have to stretch your fingers more to play anything. I wouldn't buy any guitar unless you've had a chance to play it first and see how it suits your hands.
Hey marty !! Superb video.... we jst coverd this song very rarely we find such gr8 tutorials mahn !! I even liked ur dont let me down and a lil chuck berry style riffs dat u taught ..!! BTW what stratocaster is that its really nice !! also whuch amp and what looper and bass octave pedal dat u use
Another great lesson but perhaps you would consider doing a E9 lesson that you could just send people to that can't play it yet as I watch a lot of your lessons and the explanation of both that and the 16th scratching gets a bit redundant. Not a complaint!! Thanks again, for your lessons.
No that's just how Marty puts his songs together.. He only really plays the main guitar riff and leaves out a lot of the other parts/instruments so of course it sounds plain.. He's perfect for beginners but don't recommend learning his tutorials if your trying to upskill because these are too easy
Great lesson, thanks

You should do a video on how to play the solo in Baker Street
Haha I heard this song a few months ago and thought "That would be cool to play on guitar!" Thanks Marty.
Hello I'm just barely starting to play, and was wondering what guitar would give me good space between strings and good sound?
Acoustic
I would prefer the classic guitar. Acoustic guitar strings aren't so soft, so when you start playing it feels harder to play.
I agree - probably a classical. They tend to have wider necks, so there's more space between the strings, and classical guitar strings are easier on your fingers when you first start playing. Best thing would be to borrow a guitar from a friend or something ^^
