After having earned a business degree a couple years ago, I decided to make a life change and am now studying computer science. I had my first website development class that dealt with learning coding and creating a website. It was challenging but I am so excited to eventually go back to my personal portfolio website and changing it as I learn more and more

I tend to use Indesign for everything design based, even mood boards like the ones you showed, but Figma looks cool! Also, Spirited Away wallpaper 💙 Edit - I'd love to see more design things in the future, as someone who doesn't code at all, combining the two seems so difficult, but maybe you could show us a way into it for beginners? Either way, just keep creating, and we'll keep coming!

Definitely give Figma a try, it makes it super easy to just design whats in your mind, moodboard, etc. Also has neat layout/component options to make your designs reusable/draggable/snappable/etc. I love that Spirited Away wallpaper so much! And I’d love to show some tips for beginners in the future!

this was so pretty maisy!! at first I thought you might have used a beige background for your website! for the warmer cozy vibe, I took a web design class before for my major but prior to that I didn't have a coding background so trying to learn the basics was a little tougher for me but very fun, you make it all look so seamless and clean 💞
okay i honestly love this style of videos, so amazing to see someone actually doing the coding and design right from scratch. as a computer engineer finding my way through the huge number of fields out there i was so happy to see something on web dev thats real and not something like the two extremes "coding is boring and debugging is frustrating" or "coding makes me feel like a hacker its so cool" this is so comforting and motivating. plus the vid is so calm, i love your vibe! subscribed immediately haha, hoping for more such vids! great job!! gonna go watch some more videos of yours now bye haha

Iv always struggle to create cohesive design and get overwhelmed by research and the multiple styles out there on the internet. I love how in the app you use you could easily drag and drop external resources and right all over them. Thanks for sharing your process with the rest of us.

First came a cross your content on TikTok and have just fallen in love your process, setup, and aesthetic. What is the app you are using for your mood board? Iv always struggle to create cohesive design and get overwhelmed by research and the multiple styles out there on the internet. I love how in the app you use you could easily drag and drop external resources and right all over them.
