Eagle strafe in c teir is criminal. It's got heavy armour pen which means it can kill bile titans, close bug holes and destroy fabricators. Imo the small but predictable aoe means you can throw it almost without needing to consider where your allies are, unlike the cluster bomb, or other explosive stratagem where i often find myself unable to use it due to the positioning of my teammates or being pinned and unable to exit the aoe fast enough. Its a very safe danger close stratagem for when you need to save a teammate or yourself from being swarmed.
@@grandmofftogan probably B rank? It fills a niche. By itself in a vacuum, it isn't stellar, but you take it alongside more destructive stratagems to round out the Loadout, and gives you a short range punch that other stratagems don't provide
yea you can tell alot by a person by hiw theey rank eagle strafe. Against bots its a must have. I used to think it sucked. It got buffed and when you bait bots into a choke point it rips through them.

The problem with the rail cannon strike is that there’s just so many effective, reliable ways to take down the biggest enemies now that it’s no longer that useful. Before in a time where everything was nerfed and there existed very few reliable solutions to titans, it was great and nearly a must take. Now, it just feels mediocre. There’s so many good alternatives that are much more versatile, and not on a 3+ minute cooldown. I rarely ever use this thing anymore, which sucks cause it’s really funny to have a “fuck you in particular” button
The shield pack also renders you immune to climate modifiers like extreme heat exhaustion, snow storms, and sand storms, and now acid storms. This is definitely an S tier.
380 is easily s tier. Guaranteed to take care of any bug breach, more than half the time it can take out an entire base or nest on its own (just chuck it in and leave). Helps a lot in eradicate.
Eagle smoke strike is so clutch and underrated. I can't count how many times people were thanking me for saving them from enemy fire or providing safe extraction, rise the flag etc. The actual payload dropping in can even destroy bot fabricators. Jump pack is so good for higher difficulties. I have been running it for 2 months now on bot super helldives to the great success and even finished a lot of solo no deaths runs with it. It opens so many entrance points on many objectives/outposts, allows you to throw stratagems further and up cliffs People usually just go for full offense options and then complain how bots are killing them constantly

So many players have different playstyles One thing to note with eagle smoke - you CAN take out both factories with it (at least, I’ve you got the upgrade on the hangar to have one extra bomb) Same with the orbital gas strike. It can technically take down both factories and bug holes if placed right. Fun when you get it in the right spot That said, I only bring eagle smoke when I’m trying to stealth, and even then, I usually prefer smoke grenades

Commando has the option to turn off guided missiles. So it's basically the same as the EAT at this point. It's just a matter of preference and play style.
I'm glad I waited until seeing the revisions before I commented. I think the shield relay was B tier even before the buff, but the main thing I found it lacking was the radius it covered. Now it's actually large enough to shelter the whole squad and give us breathing room to reload and call in strategems to deal with bots.
precision strike got done dirty. it’s Really good if you run it with another eagle stratagem, since you get separate cooldowns (versus if u were running eagle strafe and 500kg). same principle applies to all the orbital strikes
I agree with most rankings, some i think you put too high or low, but overall pretty solid ranking. I think it would help to have two separate lists, one for bots one for bugs, cause some strats are a/s tier for bugs and low c tier or d tier for bots. But anyway, great vid imo.

Jump Pack went straight to S tier on Illuminate maps. Also, the Liberator dog I have found new respect for, it kills enemies much faster (important if you're in a pinch) and has better armor pen than the laser one so is much better on the bot front.
I know the top comment already said this, but this video is AMAZING and when seeing it i thought you had a LOT more subs. Its also nice to hear other people agree with me on some of these, like the HMG Emplacement.

I love the stalwart, feels like a great primary replacement while you take something a little more specialized in your primary, something like the eruptor, wish there was somemore situational/ specialized primaries that could encourage stalwart use

The airburst rocket launcher and the arcthrower are in the same tier... My most hated useless weapon and my favourite weapon are in the same tier. If you want to clear crowds, take the grenade launcher or even the arc thrower none of them needs a backpack or has a stationary reload + for the airburst I believe you have to reload between each shot and you can't spam it. Skriekers are never such a great threat to make it worth taking. The arc thrower takes no backpack slot (you can have the shield generator or even the jetpack that you heavily underated), it makes you able to fight lvl 8 terminids reinforcements alone, you can fight automaton patrols of almost any lvl alone. Stunlocks Hulks, Chargers, Heavy Devastators, it can kill the heaviest enemies while having infinite ammo.
Nevertheless it's a great video for a channel of your size, you definitely deserve more. Also I said that the Jetpack was underated cuz it can take you out of very dangerous situations and if you're fleeing you can outrun every enemy with the jetpack, it also gives you a much easier times clearing bugholes. To me it's as usefull as the backpack shield generator (as someone that always uses the backpack shield generator).
Laser cannon in C tier really hurts my soul. I've been using it alongside the jump pack and those 2 have gotten me out of sticky situations. It has great consistent dmg, amazing range, and the infinite ammo is too valuable. It really deals with heavies when hitting their weak point and disposes them quickly
I really enjoyed your video and even if we disagree on a lot of these rankings I can typically understand your angle. However, I REALLY really think you need to look into the Eagle Airstrike and Precision Strike again. Two of the most versatile weapons in the game with extended uses and short cool downs. PLEASE! Those are the only two you really should reconsider :) thanks!

Great quality and explanation I love that all of these ranking videos are different because it shows that people play differently. If you love the gas strike as much as I do, you ought try bringing gas grenades to bots as well. Does surprisingly well, and buys you time to get away should you be in a pinch
Also people need to understand that Tier list changes based on bugs, bots and squids and the level of difficulty of the mission. For example, orbital railcanon is great for lv 5-7 difficulty but above that, the cool down is a bit too long for the amount of armored enemies. Also, I think precision strike is a bit underrated.
My random team mates be throwing an orbital barrage within 20 meters of be and then get all bitchy when i bring up that they kill me more then the enemy. Plus, every time i use them, they miraculously miss a lone enemy, bug hole or favricator.
In defense of Tesla, you can see if it is actively locking onto something. It starts to have that electric halo around it instead of just sparking if it's locking on for an attack. It was much easier to react to it before they increased its fire rate tho
3:56 EATs can't take out drop ships exactly. You can shoot the engines which will cause it to fall out of the sky, but a lot of enemies are likely to survive still. To actually kill the drop ships, you'd need the Spear or Recoilless Rifle and shoot the dropship in the body (not one of the engines)- that'll cause the dropship to explode which should kill almost everything with the occasional exception of something like a tank or factory strider (which will still be pretty heavily damaged)
Great video my only change would be that the 380mm is definitely A tier at least I use it all the time and I just call it out and don't have an issue killing freindlies. I can take care of any problem you have. Also as a note the Tesla tower is an easy S tier for high level solo only. I never bring it with a team but solo helldive it is clutch.
Nah strafing run is easily S tier if not A. Yeah it can be best derscibed as a better grenade but still its damn good. 1) after upgrade you get 5 2) has a fast call in 3) can take out light to even heavy targets like the tanks, hulks, and chargers if aimed right. Even can finish off weaken bile titans and factory striders 4) it goes forward in a straight line which every enemy group is basically coming to you in a straight line 5) it's also able to take out bug holes, factories, spores, and even had success taking out shrieker nest 6) You're able to throw it like 5 feet infront of you to wipe out multiple enemies when you're trying to retreat or reload without worrying of killing my self 7) super safe from friendly fire to the point you would have to intentionally aim it at your teamates to hit them 8) it honestly outclasses the regular eagle strike. Yeah it has better overall damage and but it strikes at a horizontal line which misses most enemies in a large group, more likely to friendly fire, and will more likely hit any high terrain in it's path making it useless and you get less from the eagle strike than the strafing run
I's a really well thought through Tierlist and I like how u discribed pros and cons from each one of them but you're doing this obviously in general for Robots Fraction. Just one Thing where I can't believe you've thought to short about it in between of all other Strategems. The Jetpack offers a lot of Support bringing you the opportunity of getting High Ground all the Time and this for sure is King on Wargames in general. I can't count anymore how often I stood save on a Rock killing Bugs arround me and saving Team Members in a Row. It also provides with the fastest Method to creat Distance like nothing else and is of course the best Way to play this Game without beeing touched at any Time. Don't forgeting about you can ride Bugs with it. May on Robots all of this won't work so well like on Bugs but on Bugs this is deffinetly God Tier and I bet by using it right also becomes minimum A Tier on Robots too.
You make a good argument for the jump pack, I just personally find it unwieldly to use so I put it in B tier, but I also don't consider B tier to be bad. And yeah I most play against bots so I'm biased on some things.
As a fellow Flamethrower enjoyer...yeah, B tier is accurate. Would never use it for the bots, but for the bugs? Dat's my boi. Also, with the upgrade that makes the sentries turn faster, the Autocannon Sentry turn speed is much better.
Have they changed the way the team reload works yet? Haven’t played since April but it made no sense to have the reloader have to put on your backpack. Theyre mangling their arms to make that work.
Got to disagree with the laser cannon, its fantastic for dealing with swathes of big bots from afar and clearing out smaller ones if you get caught up close, i never go to the bot front without one at my side
Come on man you are being unfair against eagle strafe run. It is an easy S tier for me. It can kill chargers and heavy armored enemies and also all kind of objectives. It takes 2 runs to kill a bile titan but i think that is reasonable. It is nearly instant and one of the safest stratagem in the game while throwing near your team mates. You can just throw between your legs while escaping a horde and it will demolish them with ease. You get 5 with the upgrade and it is an all rounder. I take strafe run no matter what mission I am playing or what difficulty. Also with the A10 warthog mod it is so cool to use. Give it an other chance and you will be suprised what this thing can do.
I liked your video, but some of your rankings I don't agree with. Stalwart is D tier. I don't need a light pen support weapon. I have primaries for that. Orbital Precision is B tier. low cooldown, high damage. Before the update this was the best anti heavy weapon. Orbital airburst is C tier. Too random and likely to teamkill, plus its ineffective vs armor. Tesla tower is trash. Its a teamkill machine. Sterilizer is fun. I like it, and get a lot of good use out of it. At the same time, I get why lots of people won't use it. I'd call it low B tier
Disagree with the tesla tower after the buff, its high A tier atm, and i do find it rather clear when u are in its range since the whole thing lights up rather menacingly? But anyway if u can keep out the heavy enemies with a recoiless, it solo clears bug breaches comfortably, ive had multiple times where i get a 50-70 kill feed with me only assisting the tesla tower in killing chargers and bile titans while just standing a good distance behind it, its incredibly powerful after the attack speed buff
I'm gonna be a moron, but i'll fight for the honnor of the shield generator. It's low CD, usefull against robot (not at all against bugs to be fair). And if you take a paladin role in the group, you'll be praise by your teammates if you place it well. It's a must have in my gameplay/teamplay and i'll always advocate for that sweet shield But carefull not to overestimate it, it will let go after a time and if you don't have the timing ... the time can be the worst time.
I feel the shield generator is a low B, it has a purpose. Defending squishy turrets and even HMG emplacements on high dif bots can make a huge difference, especially with thee rocket striders and all
Railcannon strike belongs in the bottom of F tier in my opinion. For one, it has an utterly horrendous cooldown just to delete a single, solitary heavy enemy when theres so much better ways to deal with them. Its even worse in higher difficulties where the game throws at you multiple heavies at once. Sure it might do 1 job very well but its almost useless at everything else, compared to its contemporaries like the Orbital Precision strike, the rocket pods or the 500kg that have group clearing and base destroying capabilities. To me its one of the Noob traps the devs threw in, much like the reinforcement boosters.
Every list sleeps on the jump pack. Besides just gaining insane maneuverability and an easy out in bad situations, you can also easily get to objectives quickly before getting swarmed. You can easily fly up to a jammer and turn it off before being noticed, fly in to place and activate a hellbomb, etc. Jump pack is easily A tier.
Different ranking for bot and bug is needed. Armor sets for reduced recoil make HMG s tier IMO. Nice list just doesn't hit like experimenting with the game and finding your working playstyles.
The flamethrower at its best is leagues better than the stalwart IMO. Neither are good against bots and at close range (where most bugs want to be anyway) the flamethrower wins. The only thing the stalwart does better is range and limiting collateral damage
Eventually you'll have all of them, earning requisition is pretty easy, but in general just buy the ones you think look fun. I hope you're having a good time with Helldivers!
You lost me at the best red strategem being C tier. Strafing run is an easy S+ tier if there was an S+. It felt like this tierlist wasn't the overall value of strategems in a mission, but rather, how good is the strategem each time you use it. I get it's been a while since this list, so you've probably played around a bit more with it, and the Illuminate update increased it's usefulness even more that it already was useful, but that made me want to click off the video as soon as I saw it lol.
I'm glad that you recognized that this list is flawed, I have learned a lot since making this list, and I'm grateful for all the feedback I have gotten. The strafing run is great, I would make it A or S tier if I remade this video.

Why would I bring over a quasar cannon that can one shot all of the targets the rail cannon can but I don't need to wait 3,5 minutes for that. Secondly the OPS is better than the rail cannon bc as soon u have the skill to use it it's just better and has a lower cooldown
disagree about the strafing run. It think its high A tier and i bring it almost every drop. It can kill fabs and can weaken a lot of larger enemies i.e. breaking charger armor. One thing that it allows for is some crazy range. The strafing run extends about 50 meters letting you hit enemies from at least 100m away with a diving throw, more if you have servo assisted armor
I have to say that the shield generator rellay has saved my life countless times, i use the supply backpack and the railgun so i can't use the personal shield backpack, i mostly do bots, i have to say that i did not like the chance they Made to the relay
@@grandmofftogan If it breaks it won't come back, and sometimes the larger área works against You as a Hulk or berserker gets in and now it's inmune to cover fire I would like for it to regen back after the first break or make it have double health and mantain the one break rule
@@grandmofftogan the things that makes me prefer the quasar more is: unlimited ammo, no backpack slot. On difficulty 8 to 10 against the bots the shield generator is pretty much a must have to me, it saves a lot of lives.
Ship not being fully upgraded was a mistake for this rank video. For example, without the ship upgrade to decrease DMG dropoff for orbitals, they aren't as effective.
Honestly I think it's a refreshing perspective to have in one of these videos. It comes across more like a starter's guide tier list so cadets have a better idea of what is worth unlocking first.
@greywolf535 because there are 2 primaries that can do it better (insierary shotguns), than it has the slowest reload in the game, cant be fired up close (the optimal time to shot because you could avoid far away enemies) and it has very limited emunition. The only good usecase for the airburst is shooting the eggs in the Bug missions but that could be done by most orbitals
@kami_no did you mean incendiary and ammunition? Also not really since you need to be close to the enemy and on top of that, fire is terrible for bots. The airburst does its job pretty good. Just because you prefer incendiary breaker and cookout doesn't mean other options are bad. That's like me saying eagle strike is bad because I prefer the eagle strafe over it
@@greywolf535 yes i mean those shotguns, even tho shotguns are bad on the botside the airburst is also bad there. If you play bots you would be much better of with a recoiles. You are correct that you cant say that the strafingrun is bad because you prefer an other eagl, but in a loadout you want to cover all enemietypes and the airbust only covers masses of ligth enemies far away, which is something I would not use a backpacklot and Support weapon
I was using it earlier today and I'm not sure if they shadow nerfed it or if it's that several other weapons got considerable buffs,but it just feels extremely ineffective to use. Granted, it is great for taking out air troops like shriekers and gunships.
Rail cannon in s? Dude all your placements are by someone who doesnt play on 10. Precision strike is far vetter than rail cannon. When you play on harder difficulty recharge time matters. Thats what makes the 120 barrage so good and makes the rail cannon a horrible choice.

I think Quasir cannon is S tier, doesn't take need a backpack to use so can combo it with another backpack like the Shield or the laser drone 😌

The airburst rocket launcher and the arcthrower are in the same tier...
My most hated useless weapon and my favourite weapon are in the same tier.
If you want to clear crowds, take the grenade launcher or even the arc thrower none of them needs a backpack or has a stationary reload + for the airburst I believe you have to reload between each shot and you can't spam it. Skriekers are never such a great threat to make it worth taking.
The arc thrower takes no backpack slot (you can have the shield generator or even the jetpack that you heavily underated), it makes you able to fight lvl 8 terminids reinforcements alone, you can fight automaton patrols of almost any lvl alone. Stunlocks Hulks, Chargers, Heavy Devastators, it can kill the heaviest enemies while having infinite ammo.
Nevertheless it's a great video for a channel of your size, you definitely deserve more. Also I said that the Jetpack was underated cuz it can take you out of very dangerous situations and if you're fleeing you can outrun every enemy with the jetpack, it also gives you a much easier times clearing bugholes. To me it's as usefull as the backpack shield generator (as someone that always uses the backpack shield generator).
Autocannon's flak rounds now devastate shriekers, you don't even have to aim.

Laser cannon in C tier really hurts my soul. I've been using it alongside the jump pack and those 2 have gotten me out of sticky situations. It has great consistent dmg, amazing range, and the infinite ammo is too valuable. It really deals with heavies when hitting their weak point and disposes them quickly

I REALLY really think you need to look into the Eagle Airstrike and Precision Strike again. Two of the most versatile weapons in the game with extended uses and short cool downs. PLEASE! Those are the only two you really should reconsider :) thanks!

I love that all of these ranking videos are different because it shows that people play differently. If you love the gas strike as much as I do, you ought try bringing gas grenades to bots as well. Does surprisingly well, and buys you time to get away should you be in a pinch

Also people need to understand that Tier list changes based on bugs, bots and squids and the level of difficulty of the mission. For example, orbital railcanon is great for lv 5-7 difficulty but above that, the cool down is a bit too long for the amount of armored enemies. Also, I think precision strike is a bit underrated.
Orbital rail cannon is the biggest noobtrap stratagem in this game
My random team mates be throwing an orbital barrage within 20 meters of be and then get all bitchy when i bring up that they kill me more then the enemy. Plus, every time i use them, they miraculously miss a lone enemy, bug hole or favricator.
The precision is def outclassed but incredibly solid so like imo it’s at least C

In defense of Tesla, you can see if it is actively locking onto something. It starts to have that electric halo around it instead of just sparking if it's locking on for an attack. It was much easier to react to it before they increased its fire rate tho
3:56 EATs can't take out drop ships exactly. You can shoot the engines which will cause it to fall out of the sky, but a lot of enemies are likely to survive still. To actually kill the drop ships, you'd need the Spear or Recoilless Rifle and shoot the dropship in the body (not one of the engines)- that'll cause the dropship to explode which should kill almost everything with the occasional exception of something like a tank or factory strider (which will still be pretty heavily damaged)
Precision strike is literally orbital railcannon with way less cooldown if you use it right

Great video my only change would be that the 380mm is definitely A tier at least I use it all the time and I just call it out and don't have an issue killing freindlies. I can take care of any problem you have. Also as a note the Tesla tower is an easy S tier for high level solo only. I never bring it with a team but solo helldive it is clutch.
Sterilizer should armor strip too. Even if they take away the damage

Nah strafing run is easily S tier if not A. Yeah it can be best derscibed as a better grenade but still its damn good.
1) after upgrade you get 5
2) has a fast call in
3) can take out light to even heavy targets like the tanks, hulks, and chargers if aimed right. Even can finish off weaken bile titans and factory striders
4) it goes forward in a straight line which every enemy group is basically coming to you in a straight line
5) it's also able to take out bug holes, factories, spores, and even had success taking out shrieker nest
6) You're able to throw it like 5 feet infront of you to wipe out multiple enemies when you're trying to retreat or reload without worrying of killing my self
7) super safe from friendly fire to the point you would have to intentionally aim it at your teamates to hit them
8) it honestly outclasses the regular eagle strike. Yeah it has better overall damage and but it strikes at a horizontal line which misses most enemies in a large group, more likely to friendly fire, and will more likely hit any high terrain in it's path making it useless and you get less from the eagle strike than the strafing run
I's a really well thought through Tierlist and I like how u discribed pros and cons from each one of them but you're doing this obviously in general for Robots Fraction. Just one Thing where I can't believe you've thought to short about it in between of all other Strategems. The Jetpack offers a lot of Support bringing you the opportunity of getting High Ground all the Time and this for sure is King on Wargames in general. I can't count anymore how often I stood save on a Rock killing Bugs arround me and saving Team Members in a Row. It also provides with the fastest Method to creat Distance like nothing else and is of course the best Way to play this Game without beeing touched at any Time. Don't forgeting about you can ride Bugs with it. May on Robots all of this won't work so well like on Bugs but on Bugs this is deffinetly God Tier and I bet by using it right also becomes minimum A Tier on Robots too.
You make a good argument for the jump pack, I just personally find it unwieldly to use so I put it in B tier, but I also don't consider B tier to be bad. And yeah I most play against bots so I'm biased on some things.
Orbital napalm deserves S tier without hesitation it’s probably the only stratagem that would deserve a nerf imo
Commando has toggle aim. You can turn off the guided laser. Hold square/x on controller.

As a fellow Flamethrower enjoyer...yeah, B tier is accurate. Would never use it for the bots, but for the bugs? Dat's my boi.
Also, with the upgrade that makes the sentries turn faster, the Autocannon Sentry turn speed is much better.
Orbital precision strike can be used as a weaker 500kg
And until you get 2 500kg, it has more uses
Rocket pods are actually pretty good 👍👍i have railcannon and EAT with gas. I switch them for napalm on easier difficulty.
Have they changed the way the team reload works yet? Haven’t played since April but it made no sense to have the reloader have to put on your backpack. Theyre mangling their arms to make that work.

Got to disagree with the laser cannon, its fantastic for dealing with swathes of big bots from afar and clearing out smaller ones if you get caught up close, i never go to the bot front without one at my side
Come on man you are being unfair against eagle strafe run. It is an easy S tier for me. It can kill chargers and heavy armored enemies and also all kind of objectives. It takes 2 runs to kill a bile titan but i think that is reasonable. It is nearly instant and one of the safest stratagem in the game while throwing near your team mates. You can just throw between your legs while escaping a horde and it will demolish them with ease. You get 5 with the upgrade and it is an all rounder. I take strafe run no matter what mission I am playing or what difficulty. Also with the A10 warthog mod it is so cool to use. Give it an other chance and you will be suprised what this thing can do.
I liked your video, but some of your rankings I don't agree with.
Stalwart is D tier. I don't need a light pen support weapon. I have primaries for that.
Orbital Precision is B tier. low cooldown, high damage. Before the update this was the best anti heavy weapon.
Orbital airburst is C tier. Too random and likely to teamkill, plus its ineffective vs armor.
Tesla tower is trash. Its a teamkill machine.
Sterilizer is fun. I like it, and get a lot of good use out of it. At the same time, I get why lots of people won't use it. I'd call it low B tier

Disagree with the tesla tower after the buff, its high A tier atm, and i do find it rather clear when u are in its range since the whole thing lights up rather menacingly? But anyway if u can keep out the heavy enemies with a recoiless, it solo clears bug breaches comfortably, ive had multiple times where i get a 50-70 kill feed with me only assisting the tesla tower in killing chargers and bile titans while just standing a good distance behind it, its incredibly powerful after the attack speed buff
I'm gonna be a moron, but i'll fight for the honnor of the shield generator. It's low CD, usefull against robot (not at all against bugs to be fair). And if you take a paladin role in the group, you'll be praise by your teammates if you place it well. It's a must have in my gameplay/teamplay and i'll always advocate for that sweet shield
But carefull not to overestimate it, it will let go after a time and if you don't have the timing ... the time can be the worst time.

I feel the shield generator is a low B, it has a purpose. Defending squishy turrets and even HMG emplacements on high dif bots can make a huge difference, especially with thee rocket striders and all
Jump pack is s tier I feel it saves me more than the shield pack 😂😂
Railcannon strike belongs in the bottom of F tier in my opinion. For one, it has an utterly horrendous cooldown just to delete a single, solitary heavy enemy when theres so much better ways to deal with them. Its even worse in higher difficulties where the game throws at you multiple heavies at once. Sure it might do 1 job very well but its almost useless at everything else, compared to its contemporaries like the Orbital Precision strike, the rocket pods or the 500kg that have group clearing and base destroying capabilities.
To me its one of the Noob traps the devs threw in, much like the reinforcement boosters.
I think the Commando can be used with the laser off no? There’s an option to turn it off I’m pretty sure.

Every list sleeps on the jump pack. Besides just gaining insane maneuverability and an easy out in bad situations, you can also easily get to objectives quickly before getting swarmed. You can easily fly up to a jammer and turn it off before being noticed, fly in to place and activate a hellbomb, etc. Jump pack is easily A tier.
Different ranking for bot and bug is needed. Armor sets for reduced recoil make HMG s tier IMO. Nice list just doesn't hit like experimenting with the game and finding your working playstyles.
The flamethrower at its best is leagues better than the stalwart IMO. Neither are good against bots and at close range (where most bugs want to be anyway) the flamethrower wins. The only thing the stalwart does better is range and limiting collateral damage

Eventually you'll have all of them, earning requisition is pretty easy, but in general just buy the ones you think look fun. I hope you're having a good time with Helldivers!
You lost me at the best red strategem being C tier. Strafing run is an easy S+ tier if there was an S+. It felt like this tierlist wasn't the overall value of strategems in a mission, but rather, how good is the strategem each time you use it. I get it's been a while since this list, so you've probably played around a bit more with it, and the Illuminate update increased it's usefulness even more that it already was useful, but that made me want to click off the video as soon as I saw it lol.
I'm glad that you recognized that this list is flawed, I have learned a lot since making this list, and I'm grateful for all the feedback I have gotten. The strafing run is great, I would make it A or S tier if I remade this video.
The orbital rail cannon strike isn't S tier. It has a way too high cool down to be useful. Why would I bring over a quasar cannon that can one shot all of the targets the rail cannon can but I don't need to wait 3,5 minutes for that. Secondly the OPS is better than the rail cannon bc as soon u have the skill to use it it's just better and has a lower cooldown
disagree about the strafing run. It think its high A tier and i bring it almost every drop. It can kill fabs and can weaken a lot of larger enemies i.e. breaking charger armor. One thing that it allows for is some crazy range. The strafing run extends about 50 meters letting you hit enemies from at least 100m away with a diving throw, more if you have servo assisted armor
I have to say that the shield generator rellay has saved my life countless times, i use the supply backpack and the railgun so i can't use the personal shield backpack, i mostly do bots, i have to say that i did not like the chance they Made to the relay

I would like for it to regen back after the first break or make it have double health and mantain the one break rule

On difficulty 8 to 10 against the bots the shield generator is pretty much a must have to me, it saves a lot of lives.
Ship not being fully upgraded was a mistake for this rank video. For example, without the ship upgrade to decrease DMG dropoff for orbitals, they aren't as effective.
Honestly I think it's a refreshing perspective to have in one of these videos. It comes across more like a starter's guide tier list so cadets have a better idea of what is worth unlocking first.

@greywolf535 because there are 2 primaries that can do it better (insierary shotguns), than it has the slowest reload in the game, cant be fired up close (the optimal time to shot because you could avoid far away enemies) and it has very limited emunition. The only good usecase for the airburst is shooting the eggs in the Bug missions but that could be done by most orbitals
@kami_no did you mean incendiary and ammunition? Also not really since you need to be close to the enemy and on top of that, fire is terrible for bots. The airburst does its job pretty good. Just because you prefer incendiary breaker and cookout doesn't mean other options are bad. That's like me saying eagle strike is bad because I prefer the eagle strafe over it
@@greywolf535 yes i mean those shotguns, even tho shotguns are bad on the botside the airburst is also bad there. If you play bots you would be much better of with a recoiles. You are correct that you cant say that the strafingrun is bad because you prefer an other eagl, but in a loadout you want to cover all enemietypes and the airbust only covers masses of ligth enemies far away, which is something I would not use a backpacklot and Support weapon

I was using it earlier today and I'm not sure if they shadow nerfed it or if it's that several other weapons got considerable buffs,but it just feels extremely ineffective to use. Granted, it is great for taking out air troops like shriekers and gunships.

Rail cannon in s? Dude all your placements are by someone who doesnt play on 10. Precision strike is far vetter than rail cannon. When you play on harder difficulty recharge time matters. Thats what makes the 120 barrage so good and makes the rail cannon a horrible choice.
In the intro I clarified that I was ranking them for 6+, not 10. I think that's a fair way to rank them since you need to play 6+ for super samples.
