Not at all! The DF64's ioniser helps with the grind retention issue. Just note that what we are using were not brand new grinders but grinders we have been using constantly for experiments and testing. The 64 needed more cleaning as grinds managed to build up over time at the ioniser probes so we always suggest to our customers to spend 3 seconds taking the pin brush and cleaning out the chute and the probes. What setting do you usually use for your espresso grinds? I have a DF54 as well and cant seem to dial in my beans 😅
