I also see the plasma generator isn't doing the work, I have the machine for a month and it seems to stopped working after 2 weeks, I get too much static, I always need to spray the beans generously. If you have issue with plasma generator I Don't mind buying a new one

Start using water spay on beans, because looks like plasma generator not working on my DF54

I have to take apart and clean after 5-7 grinds. Coffee packs around the grinding wheel, need to pick it out with toothpick. Buy something better, I spend more time cleaning and drinking the coffee.

How to remove plasma generator all together?

Is there a way to disable. Ive taken the declumper and snipped off the flap. Grinds come out faster and less fines. However those de-static prongs are a nuisance. Im thinking of removing it and drilling a small hole where i can place one of those cheap black ball air puffers. That way it can really dislodge loose grinds in the chute. Btw the chute should be a round design. No idea why df54 went rectangular. Fines get stock along the corner seams every time

Hi DF64 Coffee Grinder, First - thanks for the video! Question on the first grinding setting - you say "the lowest seting of 600 rpm", but it's visible you actually run it on 800 rpm. Was that on purpose or by mistake?

Anyone have any issues on the 54 taking off the chute for cleaning? The one screw on the bottom of the cute just keeps turning and wont come out

Hi guys, I have the DF83V with preinstalled SSP HU burrs for about a month now and it is very inconsistent still. I did two exactly similar shots this morning, using RDT, Blind Shaker, Leveling, adjustable Tamper and Puck Saver and the first shot was pretty much close to an espresso but a bit too fast and the second one just ran through extremely quickly. Never had such an issue with my previous Eureka Grinder. I already seasoned with like 3-4 kilograms but I can only observe how my problem is becoming worse.

Got the wrong unit (UK 250V instead of EU 220V). How can I make sure the burrs are the same as the ones I ordered?

Recently got the new DF64V grinder. Was awesome! Been using about 2 weeks nw. Previous i was using size 10 to make my expressso but after i open everything up and clean (did not remove the burr) they setting kinda change. Now im using size 17 for expresso. Is that normal? I did try to adjust back the zero point according to ur video. But still in using size 17 instead of 10. Is that normal?

Please come out with smaller grinders of the 83V. The 83V is your only vertical aligned burrs. Every other grinder ive used and so many others conplain about df54, df64, df83 static and retention. Vertical burrs have gravity to assist with static and retention. All the new grinders from other companies are modeling their burrs being vertical. DF could make more sales if they took the 83v amd made 64 or 54

Every time I try to change grind size on my dial the collar comes loose. How can I get it so I don’t have to hold the collar to change grind sizes?

It's great grinder, I was looking at your website to order DF64 Gen 2. I've also noticed that there is an option to choose from SSP burrs as wel for extra charge. Price for DF64 gen2 with standard burr set £320, Price for DF64 gen2 with SSP burr £468, Will I get 2 sets of burrs (standard burr set + SSP burr )if I pay extra money for SSP burr ? Thanks

There is no need to remove the augur to replace the rotating burr - i cut my fingers multiple times on the sharp augur threads trying to do that. If you see other how-to videos on YT, there is a way to remove the rotating burr without removing the augur. Please be safe!

Thanks for the video. Some hints: firstly: always unplug the machine before opening the unit, safety first! Secondly: the standpoint of the camera (behind you) is not optimal, one cannot see, where you´re exactly working on.
