    It’s almost a night and day comparison with the Godox destroying the Neewer, there is a reason why everyone still has the Godox SL60w it’s legendary and color accurate, great review still!

    I feel as if the Neewer light would have looked better if it was just backed up a little.
    I'd also like to see the subject matched for exposure in camera or in post to compare lights. It's hard to tell the real quality difference when the Neewer examples are just brighter/overexposed.
    Godox looks much better in your examples, but I don't know if it was a fair comparison.

      I was really looking forward to this Neewer Flapjack but base on my opinion and observation, the Godox light on the soft box looks so much softer. However you might be right. Maybe by moving the flapjack a bit further might had produce a softer light. Besides that I also didn’t liked the light quality of the Neewer. Maybe because I’m so used to the Godox. Thanks for your comment. 😀👍🏻

    Godox is definitely superior! This was a great video, I'm looking at the flapkack just for quick cellphone story videos for personal branding photography page. I'm in the pnw and lighting in my house is terrible and i need something that gives good light (i like brighter flat look) but also won't take up lots of space or setup time. Very much still considering this light!

      @@kristinaebert822 you might also want to consider this other option for quick cellphone story shoots. th-cam.com/video/GxiJjqy_F-s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZJxTNsyYwKn6eG5d. Next week im going to compare other lights options and diffusers. Thanks for the comment.

    The problem with the Neewer in a small space like this is the light spill. The godox with soft box is a much better look. With that said, I understand the issues of a small studio set up.

    The Godox is way better in terms of result by far, there seems to be a greenish color tone with the flapjack which I don't particularly like, it's a shame coz I'm considering picking one up, I still might coz of the form factor and it's a decent enough budget starting point. This was a really helpful video, thank you so much 🙏🏾

    Great review you were spot on. I think you would like the falcon eyes light better when you put it to 1% he gets down really soft and it doesn’t have that green tip. I bet you were replace the sL 60 with that one.

    I have the same issue where I'm recording in a compact space and would prefer to avoid a softbox.
    Since the creation of the video back in 2022, have you found a better for solution for creating soft, bright, quality light for video in a much thinner package?

    • @Michelangelo.077
      @Michelangelo.077  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LarryFan no I haven’t. But I do have a smaller Softbox from smallrig that it might work. I may use it for my next video. amzn.to/3YrRr5X I’ll let you know how that goes.

    I was saying a the start of the video that you are going to make me invest with that light 😅 but at the final... no. I brought a mono light like $200 but have the same problem, is to bright even in 1% is still like 100%. I work my video with my $5 usb led 😅

      Hi, Sindy thanks! I mainly use the Canon EOS R + ef 24-70mm f2.8 lens canon and for editing Adobe premiere. No filters or video luts, straight out of the camera. Equipment and editing are important but lighting is what really makes the difference.
