Nevezgane Fire Station 3: made of stone, one stairscase on the first floor, high living floor with lots of space, large roof with one staircase up, wall arround most of it. Easy to fortify, make path for screamers to dispose off, even use part of it for a horde base.
Top choice, I use the wall a raised runway around the central building ( my base ) before taking the Zd’s up to my level and the fighting position. The only downside at the start are some of the high HP blocks that need to be cleared. This is one of my favourite places for a base.
I just set up there yesterday. I built an upper floor inside the main building and set up dew collectors inside the wall. I'm noticing screamers are easier to trigger in 1.0 with my single camp fire and forge running occasionally though. I heard barbed wire fence around the outside perimeter works well
At the six silos base, there is a way for the zombies to climb up. in the building where there the conveyor system you showed, they can use the lower part of the conveyor system to go up to about the midsection of the building then there is a path to the ladder you destroyed the first few rungs It is better to destroy the lower parts of the conveyor system than the upper part to stop that.
One of the best POIS for basing in my opinion are the fire stations. It has all the rooms you need and a huge garage area. Fire station 8 is what im using right now.
Highly recommend the new Zillion Tower POI. It's a tier 0 skyscraper with a ton of room available. Take out some stairs/add a drop in the stairwell and you're pretty secure.
I like the Smithstone Silo location for a base also...but it must be said, you WILL break a leg there at some point unless you have full parkour. Guaranteed.
I loved rhe Serrano Residence. I built a shanty horde base up top that I hoped would get destroyed so I could fall back to the basement (which I had fortified with concrete and iron doors). Then *if* that position fell I could go down into the bunker section that I had set up several more fall back positions at. Really fun POI and when my time in the desert was over I knocked out the center support beam causing the cave to collapse. Love this game.
To be honest any poi can be turned into a horde base or living base easily. A good tip for early fame be at least 8 blocks off the ground at night so feral zombies won't be able to sense you as easily. Crouching whole moving around and avoiding lights also helps.
Jons Hamm radio tower is also a great building to base up in. You just need to fortify the central pillar and try to get at least the first 4 rows of the building to concrete. It also has walls surrounding it.

The silo POI is very chill. Basically have a kill corridor for the zombies as your base. I build a small-ish base around/on silos 7-8 (the rear-most pair), and hold off the hordes using the hallway space between silos 1-4 (the first 2 pairs), with an easily breakable disconnect area between the horde position and the actual base in case things go wrong on a horde night.
I have a weird one for Darnkess Falls; the yellow triangle house (the Jones Residence). If you destroy the stairway the zombies will path to you by running up the roof. If you put a ceiling over the balcony and give them a path with a zombie dropper they will fall off and run back around in a loop.
If you're playing with PEP, I personally think the A19 Crack-A-Book tower is unmatched. Knock out the ladder on the bottom floor and use the stairs as your funnel, then reinforce the top of the stairwell as the fighting position. Optionally, you can use the helipad for the regular crafting/storage base, which is what I do because I've never been overrun at the fighting position yet and frankly I'm too lazy to build up 2 separate bases. I've gone through multiple Blood Moons on top of the silos and only broke the bottom two ladders. You do need to upgrade the floor of the top building to at least cobblestone to stop cop vomit from breaking it easily.

I based in Jerry's Fill one time up on the roof and built another floor up there - think that was the name of it. It's a gas station. It has very good walls around three sides with a sand bag and barbed wire section. That sand bag barbed wire combo works surprisingly really well! Another few places are some of those little diners up on the roof tops. They're just about the right size if you're by yourself. Some are concrete blocks. Underground bases are harder to defend because you end up getting dog hordes that can dig inside super fast. I like places I can get in to fast. That rules out a lot of places. If you're having to head way up high or down under the ground that's just less time to be doing other things. Or places that are too far out in the wilderness -- you know like Navezgane is hard to get going because of how spread out everything is. I like to base on the outskirts of big cities across the street from traders. There's less area for zombies to spawn in because of how much space the trader takes up plus you're own land claim block. And you can add other land claim blocks around so you don't see hardly any roaming zombies spawning nearby. There's usually a good place right close by traders that you can make a base in. You don't want to base in the downtown areas - too many zombies. And the bigger the place is the harder it will be to defend it by yourself. Takes more traps if you want traps.
That silo place -- it's too high up and too big to defend. One time I went over 200 days up in the attic of Moe's. I upgraded it to steel and had auto turrets defending it. Smaller places are much better because when you're by yourself it's hard to defend a huge place. You'll get zombies that can get inside and you have to go after them and that takes up more time in a big place.

Little late but: In 400 hours of play (a good 200 probably before 1.0 but...) I have never had a quest show up where I have a land claim block... never noticed one at a bed roll location in older versions where I could only have 1 land claim as well honestly.
@@IDKbutIGNOMO Oh cool. I'm playing through the Darkness Falls test map right now, which is huge. I think I'll work on getting a gyrocopter and see if I can find it on this map.
The tank is everywhere. Just make sure you take out the entire inside ladder, the zombies will stack up and then climb up if you just take out the first two blocks. The hatch makes it like shooting fish in a barrel, if you like fish. It makes a fast fun base in any biome.
I'm going to be for real, I'm the type of person who makes a base in each biome, so seeing as the first one is in forest id do that one for my forest biome house, use the second one as the desert house as it appears to be in the desert.
If I play long enough I make one near each trader, and then little hideouts all around the map stocked with supplies. Gotta prepare for that isekai lol.
Me and my friend have taken over this Serrano residence, we made a cement hut over the forced open steel hatch then went down have blocks under the it and put our own hatch
Was just wondering if anyone found the Zuckerberggates estate place and which pregen map has it want to make my base there (on console by the way) and saw it once and deleted that save by accident and now i cant find it i know it was in the desert please help. Ps I am on console.
I stay away from the pregen maps. If you do an RWG, you are very likely to get every poi. If you are comfortable messing with xml at all, then go into the rwg config file under the Data folder and edit the cities in each biome to be created with a higher number of tiles. It's actually very easy, you are just changing numbers. Just use notepad++ to edit(or something similar). So, instead of a 8 tile by 12 tile city, you could have a 30 tile by 60 tile city. This greatly increases your poi count and the likeliness of every poi being put into your map.
Checkout JD shipping. It is a LARGE multi level concrete / stone building with tons of resources and space. Take out two staircases and move in. And if you get lucky, it has a (working)vending machine inside
I want to recommend Higashi Tower here mainly because it has a cool aesthetic. Just be careful not to destroy any supports downstairs or it starts to get weird.
i don't get the premise ... for a home, rather than horde, base, if i am there, i want them at my door/hatch (etc...) as soon as possible so i (or my traps/turrets) can take care of them ... any sort of surrounding wall or impedence sounds nice (and for sure i'd want it in a "real" zombie apocolypse!), but is just something for the i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ zombies to unpredicatably beat on = wasted resources for v1.1 Navezgane i'm currently in the greasy spoon near trader bob in the desert ... i have beer + two hatches and i'm on day 150 survivalist ... i'll probs get bored and start again soon! that said, i love then cool locations you've found ... i'd just use them differently myself 🙃
Would love to have seen some coordinates for these locations.

Would it be possible to do a video on the best tier 0 POIs. I really don't want my house to turn into a quest location later in my play through 😅
Little late but: In 400 hours of play (a good 200 probably before 1.0 but...) I have never had a quest show up where I have a land claim block... never noticed one at a bed roll location in older versions where I could only have 1 land claim as well honestly.
Can't find the silo base in the Navezgane map. Too bad. Looks like a fun base. I'm just using the farm with the corn and boars across the street.
It's a pregen POI
@@IDKbutIGNOMO Oh cool. I'm playing through the Darkness Falls test map right now, which is huge. I think I'll work on getting a gyrocopter and see if I can find it on this map.
Oh, this is what I was looking to do.
I'm a big fan of the building with the punisher logo on it. I forget the name but it spawns in bigger cities.
Red Ruby is my home base
the PBR 8 pack nice!
Why make a base in a read that will have a mission in it … you can never play that mission again and if you do it resets the area of the mission
Well it’s a good thing that all the quests are the same, just don’t do any at that location.
Best one is the grain silos. Period. Solid concrete and aint going anywhere. can build base to live and for horde. only one ladder to take out.
I take it these locations are all on the basic Navezgane map?
The tank is everywhere. Just make sure you take out the entire inside ladder, the zombies will stack up and then climb up if you just take out the first two blocks. The hatch makes it like shooting fish in a barrel, if you like fish. It makes a fast fun base in any biome.
plz make a second part. ;)
Well the New Serrano residence is cool but personally I miss the old one
I'm going to be for real, I'm the type of person who makes a base in each biome, so seeing as the first one is in forest id do that one for my forest biome house, use the second one as the desert house as it appears to be in the desert.
If I play long enough I make one near each trader, and then little hideouts all around the map stocked with supplies.
Gotta prepare for that isekai lol.
@Globeguy1337 I'm the same way, one base becomes so difficult bc of how far it is between traders
How about the Shamway HQ silos?
I cant seem to find that first base anywhere...can anyone help me out? Thank you
Zomblies are attracted to doors and hatches.I wouid recommend taking out that buried vault hatch asap at the serrano residence.
I really doubt they will dig to it if its not a blood moon situation. But even if they do. They are not getting in very easily.
Me and my friend have taken over this Serrano residence, we made a cement hut over the forced open steel hatch then went down have blocks under the it and put our own hatch
@@Firespark81 It´s not uncommon that people have a all in one base, i see those posted a lot. Better safe than sorry, if you only use one base.
That second base all you had to do was open the Door you didn't even need to break the wall
3:12 ha?Wow,never saw that place,tnx
The only place i would consider is the Silo poi. Way less work to prepare it
Was just wondering if anyone found the Zuckerberggates estate place and which pregen map has it want to make my base there (on console by the way) and saw it once and deleted that save by accident and now i cant find it i know it was in the desert please help. Ps I am on console.
I found it in the Tamriel map mod just south of Jenny’s, I think (been a while). That was in the forest, though.
@Globeguy1337 I am on console though I meant console pre gen sorry
@
Ah - kk. If you can do debug mode on console I believe there was a command to teleport you to a poi, so you could look up the ID and teleport to it
#6 should've been the billboard just outside of your first trader rekt
Can be a bit funky placing blocks though.
Smithstone! :D
Jeffelon Zuckergates is where it's at.
In trying out johnnytown right now, the Basement under the garage is both my hoardbase and normal base.
Iam at day 40 and so far it has been a succes
Can’t find the Pantelli Residence on the 06k map smh
I stay away from the pregen maps. If you do an RWG, you are very likely to get every poi. If you are comfortable messing with xml at all, then go into the rwg config file under the Data folder and edit the cities in each biome to be created with a higher number of tiles. It's actually very easy, you are just changing numbers. Just use notepad++ to edit(or something similar). So, instead of a 8 tile by 12 tile city, you could have a 30 tile by 60 tile city. This greatly increases your poi count and the likeliness of every poi being put into your map.
Meanwhile I’m chilling in a fortified tf memaws house 😂
Checkout JD shipping. It is a LARGE multi level concrete / stone building with tons of resources and space.
Take out two staircases and move in.
And if you get lucky, it has a (working)vending machine inside
Who is that redhead in the thumbnail?
Or why there is unrelated woman in the thumbnail.
It's obviously Firespark IRL, the voice just doesn't match.
Or AI generated to entice people into clicking onto the video.
AWESOME!
I want to recommend Higashi Tower here mainly because it has a cool aesthetic. Just be careful not to destroy any supports downstairs or it starts to get weird.
The woman in the thumbnail, I thought it was Anna-Louise Plowman whom starred in Stargate SG-1, they look really similar!
i don't get the premise ... for a home, rather than horde, base, if i am there, i want them at my door/hatch (etc...) as soon as possible so i (or my traps/turrets) can take care of them ... any sort of surrounding wall or impedence sounds nice (and for sure i'd want it in a "real" zombie apocolypse!), but is just something for the i̶d̶i̶o̶t̶s̶ zombies to unpredicatably beat on = wasted resources
for v1.1 Navezgane i'm currently in the greasy spoon near trader bob in the desert ... i have beer + two hatches and i'm on day 150 survivalist ... i'll probs get bored and start again soon!
that said, i love then cool locations you've found ... i'd just use them differently myself 🙃
I just build a 9x9 square 15 blocks up on posts beside the traders. Nothing can get me and my base is done on day two.
9x9 .... are you related to direwolf20 ?
Serrano is a no go. Too complicated to get in and out of. Learn how to use a helmet light or torch when you record your videos.
Wow never seen that underground area.
Hey wheres the coordinates brother man
