Just did mines this way. It was a pain to get the lines in cuz they was a little bigger than the new heater core lines but I made it work. Had a little leak on the bottom line but fixed it up right away. Thanks for the video, it was a life saver cuz I didn't wanna cut the lines. Now I got hot air coming out all vents

This way worked perfect. A bit of finesse needed to make sure it is crimped back down but so much better than cutting the line or removing the complete dash

Interesting method. I just had this same issue crop up on my 2013 avenger. I am debating using this method or going the line splice route.

How long did it take using this method?

About 2ish hours. Theres intricate parts to this method which take time, so it all depends on how fast you can get through them

This method is stupid Because you’re doing way more work than you need to do to get the same result by cutting it and using hose and hose clamps just saying

With all due respect, not everyone has a pair of pipe cutters just laying around, nor do they have even a saws all. Sure you can go buy them and do the other method on TH-cam, but I did this method with tools that pretty much anyone would have lying around. Plus, I did this method to get the best flow into your heater core as possible. Cutting a hose like that may lose you pressure, but it may not.

Thats whack it doesnt have clips and you just clamp it.
