can we all agree that kageyama made hinta the greatest decoy and in return hinata crowns him the king? in the end they made each other better than they initially were
Honestly this is my favorite episode. Kageyama's journey to be the best setter felt so natural. In season one, he believes the setter should dictate every play. In season two, he gives in to the idea that the spiker is the one that decides the toss. Both are two extremes in different directions. It's not until this season where he finds a balance of the two ideas. Give your hitters what they want but demand they be better. He hasn't been able to before due to his trauma. He was afraid of being seen as the king, a tyrant. But criticism isn't the same as being bossy. It's natural to fight. Communication is how you find what works
The "re-crowning" scene in the manga made me tear up... how they did it in the anime made me legit cry, the ost they used, and how they animated it... it's one of my favorite scenes in the series.
The shot of Kageyama smiling at 8:56 after Hinata crowns him has to be one of the best in the series. Just makes you think about how far our boy has come.
this episode is one of my favourite in whole season. This is point where Kageyama actually start being himself. We watch his slow growing till this point from 1st season. Also it's blessing he came to Karasuno and start playing with Hinata. We will have so many amazing episodes in thsi season, but this one have special space in my heart
I think it was a great story beat to have Kageyama go from playing with the elite group, to Karasuno again. It not only allowed us to get a sense of the difference in skill level, but was the perfect trigger for bringing back Kageyama's high standards - a character trait that was established right at the start of the show.
Ngl from Tobio's perspective all his sets were easy to hit for national level players at the youth camp, so its natural for him to be irritated by seeing everyone missing even after he's giving the same level sets to his teammates.
There is something complex that Haikyuu found a straightforward way to explain. Someone we will meet in the future says: "You guys are responsible for him (Kags) being like this. You taught this monster that he can send any pass, lift any ball and demand that the striker overcome any barrier." You created this monster (in a good way). Hinata and the Karasuno team shaped the fantastic player that Kageyama will become - goody two shoes my ass! Gives me chills everytime.
I think for the most part people operate and value humility and respect. But like sometimes its fine to embrace your ego. Maybe you're right and you need to speak out. Kageyama doesn't say any of this stuff to be mean, he just cares a lot about the game and wants to improve and help other improve. Maybe he can word things better, but especially in a game you don't really have time.
kageyama mistake the advise he got from oikawa that only the spiker had the say, and because miya show him that the setter are supposed to be egoist, he became confused, and here hinata and coach ukai teach him that its both side decision not just spiker and setter alone
I always feel the scene with Kageyama and Noya doesn't really translate well to English. Although I'm not saying the translation was flat out wrong or anything. It's just one of that language and cultural thing that hard to translate thingy. I'd try to elaborate, but I have a feel it might turn into an essay lol. To help put it in perspective, the way Kageyama said "You're in the way!" to Noya is the same as if he just said "Scram!" or close to "Fuck off!".
Thanks so much, #AlanaMisako, for uploading this awesome anime reaction. I love your anime content so much because it's so amazing, and I enjoy watching your reactions to different anime series.
if someone asks you someday : what is the difference between friends, just friends, only friends, soulmate and etc ?? ur answer : haikyuu S4E7. I feel just haikyuu author has the same taste with kimetsu no yaiba, they have their own style of storytelling, simple and stylish.
@@overlord3083 I don't mind crazy superpowered sports anime as long as they acknowledge its meant to be absurd and unrealistic (unlike a certain anime starting with blue and ending with lock)

The violin going crazy in the crown scene, absolutely amazing.

I do think that not all people saw how Hinata effectively removed the tension that occurred while also allowing kageyama accept the king that he is
Tsukki and kageyama is an underrated combo 🫣
Yeah, they're pretty good, and Tsukki's comments are always funny.
the king getting irritated is 100% good for the team.

No matter what anyone said, Hinata will always be the MVP of S4 for me. The moral anchor, the heart of Karasuno

The king? THE KING is BAROU SHOEI
That fraud? Lol Kageyama is 10x more King than that guy
Midlock aside real king comes from prince of tennis lol

yo I've been thinking, it would be good if Alana gave a try to a soccer/football anime like Blue Lock. because it's different from Haikyuu
When is my dress up darling next episode reaction coming????😬
Day 18 of requesting Alana to watch plastic memories
