Thanks for making this video. I need to do this having sucked fluid into my engine.

According to Motion Pro the fluid is a petroleum based mineral oil. It will not harm your motor if it gets sucked in.

It's up to you to keep yours or get these, get them on eBay around £100.00... 👍
Mine are fine, apparently from time to time suppose to clean them out, I never have, apparently tubes are glass, surprised they not got a screen protector on!? 🤔, but I just put clear tape around for protection, I was just looking ( see if any upgrade!? 🤔) and noticed these on eBay, and after looking your video, video... I will stick with mine))), anyways just thought to write 📝, and if you get the other 1, be nice if you can compare, if you like doing you tube videos 📹, anyways all the best and stay safe... 👍

No these are garbage, I can't get air pockets out of fluid and I'm running a low vacuum bike. 1st start up it just sucked the fluid out of one and that's w the calibration screws all the way out

Yeah... I'm with you. I have to refill mine several times a year, and it is annoying.

What would be an acceptable substitute for the fluid?
I ordered a refill and the cap was cracked and it leaked out inside the packaging.
Lack of care for sure. But there must be a very easy substitute.
      Thanks

To be honest, I have not tried anything else but the actual fluid. At this point though, I’m thinking that water might work fine. Add some color to it just to make it more visible in the tubes.

@@61fourMoto i read somewhere that it could have ethylene glycol in it to. Possibly to keep it from freezing if you keep it in a cold garage

@@cilantrot2833 Not ethylene but propylene glycol yes according to my Sync-PRO instruction sheet.
