Hi Lisa. Another video full of ideas. I buy wooden boxes when I see them so this will be the first thing that I will dupe. Loved all of the projects. Never found the bird lamps like yours. ☹️ BUT I found some bird themed lamps at Overstock. I ended up painting them with classic gold gilding paint. Mine were twice the price of yours but I love them after my paint update.

That bowl from Ross is perfect for your dupe. I live in Western Michigan and we just got a Ross about an hour south of me. I may need to see if I can find that same bowl, fingers crossed. How do you do it Lisa? You make these dupes look exactly the same or even better!! I love all 3. I really need a pretty box like that to hide the tv remotes and that one would be a perfect size. The candle holders and the bowl are also so beautiful. The best is that you show us that we can still have upscale looking items but at a fraction of the cost. Hi Lisa, don't you have to put a protective coat on the paint so that your pieces last longer? How about when the newly painted pieces stay outside on the patio? I am from Gauteng in South Africa and have a few pieces I'd love to redo
Yes, I occasionally put a protective coating over the top. My pieces are typically used indoors, so I don’t do it all of the time.
