I can't imagine paying over $100 no matter how pretty the ginger jar! I always enjoy your videos, and this one has given me the idea to look more carefully at some of the glass vases at Dollar Tree - I think there's a nice shape to turn into a ginger jar, so I'll see what I can use for lids.

Love your new flips! Love the candlesticks! I am a sucker for candlesticks-especially anything Bombay. Love the tray too! I love trays and boxes too! A touch of gold on the trim beads may be good to match the tray feet! I use touches of gold, silver, copper, etc. I recently embellished a plain heart box with gold and used some of the doll head painted gold feet too. I wish I had a local hobby lobby near but I only have Michaels nearby. My super Joanne store which was ten minutes away closed two years ago. Their lease went up too high. I am still broken hearted about that. Well keep up the great flips, girlfriend!

I love shiny brass and gold, so your elegant decor is very appealing to me. The house I bought has brushed nickel lights, door and cabinet knobs. I moved in with brass lamps and gold picture frames. Help! I need ideas to tie these looks together because I can't afford to replace them.
Hey pretty lady! The knobs would be an easy fix. I’ve painted them in the past and it makes them look brand new. Not sure about the door knobs and lights. You could always replace them slowly so it’s not a big budget outlay at one time.
@LisaBurningham The lights all match-- 2 in the foyer and a matching one in the dining room. Yes, I have thought about painting the cabinet knobs and would love to change the door knobs, but there is no budget for any of it now. Lol. Each room has a ceiling fan with a different metal: bronze, brown, satin (not nickel, not brass) and antique brass. I haven't changed anything yet because I have been stumped. One bedroom was taupe with a dark chocolate wall, one was taupe with a dark teal wall. I painted the whole house Ivory (a perfect match to Wavery's Ivory chalk paint). It is more cream and has less of a beige undertone than I wanted, but it is a happy color. I took a cushion to the paint store and thought I was matching the Ivory in my sofa. It is not the perfect match I expected but close enough to live with it. At least, I got rid of the depressing taupe. I buried both folks last month and am waiting to see if there is an inheritance. If enough for new doorknobs, maybe I can paint the rest.

Lisa, I've never come across any cloches in thrift stores. Where do you get yours?
I have found several cloches at Home Goods over the years. If I ever see them I buy them immediately. I have purchased one small cloche at my thrift store, but usually Home Goods is the place I see them.

I stand corrected: I've now found Home Goods available at TJ Maxx, an hour from me. I had no idea that Home Goods, Marshall's, and TJ Maxx are owned by the same corporation.
Where do you get your glass cloches? Not sure i spelled that right!
I typically purchase my cloches at Home Goods. I actually bought a new one there this past week!
