    Good you got out and about. With your food you should put it in one bag and hang it in a tree from some cord. . Animals like mice and rats will eat thru your pack to get to your food. Find some dry bags fore your sleeping bag and hammocks to insure that your sleep system stays dry. It is not always going to be easy to find trees close to each other fore 1 tarp so bring one fore each of you. I am glad you found your hammocks comfortable. :)

      Wow, thank you for the tips, there super valuable! Will do so next time :) the backpack has a rain cover which I can use to keep everything inside dry - Ill find something nice to hang up the food too :)

      @@markomitrovic Do not trust your pack cover. You can use a garbage bag inside your pack to keep things dry. Put your sleep system and clothes in it. With a day trip you can just bale and go home but with multi day trips it in partitive that you keep your stuff dry. A dry pace to sleep in the rain is game changer. :)
