considering vive ultimate is more expensive than the 3.0s, im just gonna stick with 3.0 because smooth tracking makes it exactly the same if not better
We are glad you are enjoying the 3.0s! The VIVE Ultimate Trackers are not aimed to replace the 3.0s but to help fill the gap needed for standalone headsets. We appreciate your support 😊
Would get these but I don’t rly have the money to drop on these, so ima be sticking with the Xbox 360 kinect for now

Not sure if this is a thing already but it'd be nice to allow the devices to charge while being in use. I've thought about making a dock that makes use of the pogo pins so you can wire them to your backside where you'd strap a battery pack.
We appreciate your innovative thinking. Your suggestion of using a dock with pogo pins to connect to a battery pack is an interesting concept! If you have more ideas or if there's anything else you'd like to share, please feel free to let us know. We appreciate your engagement and commitment to making the VR experience even more convenient and enjoyable. Thank you!

@@HTCVive Is there a public repo that contains blueprint info for the Ultimate Trackers? I'd be honored to have a go at it. I just need to know exact dimensions and how they're supposed to sit on the body once mounted
it's a preference and comfort thing. some dancers and active users put them on their ankles to keep their feet free and not restrict movement, while people who just hang out like them in their feet for better posing
ive seen first hand from my freind who has the headset everything...and im sorry but i wouldnt buy a headset that expensive to not even be able to see the pc side to vrchat without hooking it up, dont get me wrong the face trackings cool and the trackers are GOOD, but its alot of money and alot of downsides😭🙏
If you have you have any 3 tracking pucks and a Quest 3 you can have 5 point tracking. Virtual desktop lets you have all of them together
Thank you for this!
WHAT
Oh 4th and 5th being the hand tracking?

Until you realize virtual desktop doesn’t let you play because it requires Ethernet

Why not just wear usb-c battery packs with them? Do the pogo pins even accept power? Thought they were just i/o.
I use them with quest 3. 5 trackers per dongle as well :)
That's great! How are you liking them?
It is best to give trackers for the feet rather than the ankles.

Do the vive trackers work with standalone quest or does it at least work with normal pc vr with a quest plugged into it
The XR Elite would be worth it if it were $500 cheaper lol
It would be even better if there was hand tracking

What do you mean see the pc side?
Just install viveHUB and wirelessly connect the headset via the same network
Can we use this with wrist tracker for finger tracking or does vive ultimate tracker already have finger tracking?
I think i saw them say they had those connections in the bottom for other accessories in another video but i could be mistaken
You could make a lucid glove and use the pogo pins. You might need to patch the lucid driver if they don't match the older vive trackers.
