The Wandenreich No it's since 1988. Until 1984 LA Olympic,there was only an individual game (men+women)
whether you won medal or not, it is just same for everybody. they shoot thousands of arrows to represent country. it is very common former medallist fails to join korean national team

For Korean archery players, winning an olympic medal is much easier than winning a national tournament. The Olympic gold medalist cannot be guaranteed to be selected for the national team. The two players(Ki and Chang) who won this final match in Rio and also won the gold medals in the individual competitions in London and Rio, have been eliminated from the national qualifying tournament and are unable to compete in the Tokyo Olympic next year..
I saw it on world archery that the national selections was cancelled due to covid and will “retry” again

lol, I am Korean and I have to admit that there is something about archery in my blood. I am also good at barebow shooting. even I learnt it for the first time when I was 35 years old.
these two girls are not korean-manchurian they are Buryat women.
I'm Korean never done any bow and gun shooting. It felt natural to me hard to explain.
