Story time. My brother in law found a baby coyote driving through the country past our place. Malnourished as sadly the mother must’ve died. They watched it for weeks and noticed how much worse it had gotten. They started bringing it rotisserie chicken every night until it was healthy which took 2 months. They have videos of this pup coming and licking my brother in laws feet in affection as he put the food down as it was never taught how to hunt because it was so young when it’s mother got killed. That was the last encounter they had but did everything they could to save that baby coyote which most likely found it’s own pack to hunt with. It went from a near death pup to completely healthy young adult.

I got bit by a Southern Pacific rattlesnake when I was younger and it was the worst pain I ever felt in my life! Felt like somebody doused me with diesel fuel and lite me on fire while my skeleton was trying to rip out of my skin. Pretty gruesome, it affected my taste buds as well everything tasted horrible even water.

I have a friend from Zimbabwe that goes to the same college as me. He told me never run over a snake with your car. He knew a guy who tried to run over a snake. He thought he hit it but aparently it crawled up the chassis of the car and got inside and "struck his wife dead." Supposedly it was a black mamba and this has happened more than once.

when my daughter was 15 she got bit by a pygmy rattler . at 80 lbs she was in great danger of losing her leg and possibly her life . we got her to the hospital and the anti-venom worked . she has completely recovered but it was a scary time .

My dogs nearly got bit by a rattle they were only a couple feet away. I yelled to get back they jumped back and I put eight rounds into the snake in a few seconds my blood was pumping. One of my worse fears is my babies being bitten by a diamond back they get bloody huge where I live.
I grew up in Louisiana with a father that did nothing but hunt and fish during his free time and I watched and helped him kill and catch so many snakes it was unreal. I have the last but not the biggest "timber" rattler he caught on my wall.Its a little over 6 foot long with the middle laying flat is over 10 inches and the rattler that my son broke off at a toddler is right at 6 inches. Some rattlesnakes get freaking huge.They don't bother me since I grew up watching my Dad catch them and kill them but I hated when water mocasins would fall in the boat.Dad would just get up,step on the head,pick it up and toss it out of the boat.
When I was young we had an infestation of snakes. The lady that lived there had a snake farm and collected exotics. Over ran with bull snakes and even some sidewinders that were left behind. One day before the turn off before our house and we seen a Rattlesnake that crossed from the white line of the road and ended passed the yellow line. Had to be over 9 feet and mind you there were people on the side snapping pictures. Will never forget how huge and thick that rattler was. Definitely scary animals. I got bit by a Death Adder when I was working in oil and gas exploration. We were 100km west of Thargomindah in far South West Queensland, Australia and it was about 2am. I'd been working out the desert for about a year and got complacent. Woke up for a piss and just put my flip-flops on. I should have worn my boots. It got me on the walk back to my donga. I thought it was just a thorn or a bur. When I saw it in the light it was a clear bite on the outside of my right ankle. I called out to my crew (we all have snake bite training) and they bandaged me up and had me in the back of a Hilux within 5 mins. I felt safe then, things were moving fast. Once we got on the road though? I was shouting "Drive faster! Drive faster! We are in the middle of fucking nowhere you can do 180k just fucking go!" But no. You can't. It's open road, no cops. Covered in kangaroos. You have to stick to 70k because if you hit a roo at 140kms that's a dead too and a fucked up Hilux. It was a slow trip to a nurse's station in the middle of fucking nowhere, vomiting out the window the whole way. Then an hour's wait for the air ambulance with muscle pain, convulsions and vomiting. When the plane arrives they gave me a needle of medazolam as we taxied of the runway. I thought I was going to die but I remember the nurse with the needle was hot as fuck so I told her she was beautiful and that's the last thing I remember. Next I know I wake up 17 hours later, no pants on bandaged from toe to thigh and no idea why I was where I was. I'd also pissed the bed. So fuck. What a way to wake up. Fucking insane. Untill it all slowly came back. Doctors explained how lucky I was to be alive after such a long trip from one of the most isolated places in the world. They told me I should buy a lottery ticket so on the drive back to the mining camp I did just that. I didn't win SFA but I figured being alive was the only lottery win I actually cared about. Thank fuck for being alive after being bit by one of the 10 deadliest snakes in the world in the middle of fucking nowhere 4 hours from the nearest hospital. I mean, that's a fucking lottery win right there.
I got bit by a pack of 15 wild death adders when I was in Australia.. Sucked as much of the venom out as I could an my buddy got me airlifted out of there in his buddies heli to a hospital 4 hrs away. So I know you're pain. You and me are lucky to be alive.
This friend of mine wanted to swim in a hole in a creek. He saw a small snake in the bottom of the swimming hole. He said it was a water moccosin. I told him there were no water moccosins in Western North Carolina. When I finally saw it, it was a garter snake 3 feet under the water. Weird.
Not correct. They do digest food in their stomachs. The venom is to immobilize prey, and begins digesting it. Humans are also technically venomous, saliva starts digesting our food too.

That's called hibernation. Look up "snake hunt" if you want to learn more. They often congregate in the winter in holes, pits etc.
They have found 200+ rattlers in a hide before.

As a termite technician I never look forward to a poisonous snake in a crawl space.

I grew up in Louisiana with a father that did nothing but hunt and fish during his free time and I watched and helped him kill and catch so many snakes it was unreal. I have the last but not the biggest "timber" rattler he caught on my wall.Its a little over 6 foot long with the middle laying flat is over 10 inches and the rattler that my son broke off at a toddler is right at 6 inches. Some rattlesnakes get freaking huge.They don't bother me since I grew up watching my Dad catch them and kill them but I hated when water mocasins would fall in the boat.Dad would just get up,step on the head,pick it up and toss it out of the boat.
Things like this are why I feel like a pussy for having grown up in the suburbs.

When I was young we had an infestation of snakes. The lady that lived there had a snake farm and collected exotics. Over ran with bull snakes and even some sidewinders that were left behind. One day before the turn off before our house and we seen a Rattlesnake that crossed from the white line of the road and ended passed the yellow line. Had to be over 9 feet and mind you there were people on the side snapping pictures. Will never forget how huge and thick that rattler was. Definitely scary animals. I will never miss the fact that we could look into our yard and see the ground moving. Ive had it with these motha fucking snakes on this motha fucking property. Have a great day

My jack Russell once got bit above the eye by a water moccasin. Them things don’t rattle, just bite. Luckily she survived and recovered completely. That dog is a beast.

I got bit by a Death Adder when I was working in oil and gas exploration. We were 100km west of Thargomindah in far South West Queensland, Australia and it was about 2am.
I'd been working out the desert for about a year and got complacent. Woke up for a piss and just put my flip-flops on. I should have worn my boots.
It got me on the walk back to my donga. I thought it was just a thorn or a bur. When I saw it in the light it was a clear bite on the outside of my right ankle.
I called out to my crew (we all have snake bite training) and they bandaged me up and had me in the back of a Hilux within 5 mins.
I felt safe then, things were moving fast. Once we got on the road though? I was shouting "Drive faster! Drive faster! We are in the middle of fucking nowhere you can do 180k just fucking go!"
But no. You can't. It's open road, no cops. Covered in kangaroos. You have to stick to 70k because if you hit a roo at 140kms that's a dead too and a fucked up Hilux.
It was a slow trip to a nurse's station in the middle of fucking nowhere, vomiting out the window the whole way. Then an hour's wait for the air ambulance with muscle pain, convulsions and vomiting.
When the plane arrives they gave me a needle of medazolam as we taxied of the runway. I thought I was going to die but I remember the nurse with the needle was hot as fuck so I told her she was beautiful and that's the last thing I remember.
Next I know I wake up 17 hours later, no pants on bandaged from toe to thigh and no idea why I was where I was. I'd also pissed the bed. So fuck. What a way to wake up.
Fucking insane. Untill it all slowly came back.
Doctors explained how lucky I was to be alive after such a long trip from one of the most isolated places in the world.
They told me I should buy a lottery ticket so on the drive back to the mining camp I did just that. I didn't win SFA but I figured being alive was the only lottery win I actually cared about.
Thank fuck for being alive after being bit by one of the 10 deadliest snakes in the world in the middle of fucking nowhere 4 hours from the nearest hospital.

I got bit by a pack of 15 wild death adders when I was in Australia..
Sucked as much of the venom out as I could an my buddy got me airlifted out of there in his buddies heli to a hospital 4 hrs away. So I know you're pain.

This friend of mine wanted to swim in a hole in a creek. He saw a small snake in the bottom of the swimming hole. He said it was a water moccosin. I told him there were no water moccosins in Western North Carolina. When I finally saw it, it was a garter snake 3 feet under the water. Weird.

Just saw a Facebook video of a couple dudes removing 45 rattlesnakes from under this dudes house.
Not correct. They do digest food in their stomachs. The venom is to immobilize prey, and begins digesting it. Humans are also technically venomous, saliva starts digesting our food too.
Rabbits are not rodents.
