- I propagated my Ensete last year and this year I am splitting the individual Banana’s off. This is a AFTER Propagation video, Because Ensete do not produce pups like other Banana’s they need to be butchered like to my video Ensete Maurelii (Red Banana) Propagation ( • Ensete Maurelii (Red B... )
I am glad I don't have a brown ring, Jochen.
Black was more fitting on this occasion 😉
What a gorgeous plant. I wasn't sure what kind of plant you were talking about but then...you had me at banana. I've got to find out where to get this plant so I can get my banana on!!!🍌🍌🍌
The red banana is wonderful and so lovely, I wish I could give you one or two because I have a huge amount. I am sure you can get one where you are
Very good video, 👍 just subscribed.
I love my tropical plants.
I wondered how you got more from the ensetti.
Thank you 😉, I love my tropical plants too, although sometimes the wrapping for the winter is super annoying 🤣 but i still do it and the ensetti I propagated are doing well
Mine that I've just dug up after getting tiny plugs at the start of summer had a pretty big root ball and it got quite big. But it was potted in 100% compost till now.
the 100% Compost might have something to do with that, AND, i am horrible when it comes to fertilizing anything in my garden, I just don't do it, sure I add compost here are there but generally I suck at feeding my plants ... must change that next year 🤔
Hey Jochen, I like the idea to spray thr ring Black, looks indeed better is that the first time you do that? I am yust wondering if the paint is influencing the soil negatively?
I have done that for a long time and so far all good. Once the paint is dry it is water resistant, so no issues. However I would do it on pots I would use for vegetables, just in case
