The premise of this podcast sounds ridiculous, but it is always absolutely wonderful. And Jayde was the absolutely perfect person to first utter the secret ingredient. Thank you all!
@@heseme2 I can't remember now as the person deleted their comment but I'm guessing James story about diet coke being like regular coke for him now? Lol
@@katekennedy4292 its a call back to earlier in the podcast when she pronounced a word in strange way with the emphasis on the A. James spent quite a bit of time trying to find words to emphasise in that way (but spent ages doing it ) then right at the end he manages a spontaneous one.
That episode with Amy Annette, was it? that was talking about that obscene American 'salad' with marshmallows and mayonnaise and tinned pineapple, etc, is called Ambrosia salad. Truly, possibly, the most revolting American food ever produced, which is a huge claim, I know. I can't be bothered to look for the episode. I just have to register my disgust. And in the same meal, steak tartare- I would just leave. I could not cope with those being eaten at my table. I would need a bucket - and nobody"s conversation is worth that. Ambrosia salad is just THE line where Americans have lost the right to eat at the table with the grown ups.
The fact that it was the very last ingredient of her entire menu somehow makes it an even more perfect moment.
The odds of this happening must have been hundreds and thousands to one.
She literally said that joke in the video. Pay attention, Jesus!
@@shivavision8223 Did you mean that like "pay attention (eyeroll). Jesus..."?
@@shivavision8223 she didn't though, she said "what are the chances I'd say hundreds and thousands". Pay attention, Shiva!

What an incredible historic moment
The premise of this podcast sounds ridiculous, but it is always absolutely wonderful. And Jayde was the absolutely perfect person to first utter the secret ingredient. Thank you all!
I love how polite they were when explaining it 😂😂 I expected SCREAMING
IN THE BIN! IN THE BIN! IN! IN! IN! THE BIN! BIN! BIN!
I love her reaction to their initial reaction, like "haha I've really shocked them with this school dessert choice!" but she has no idea
'youre not getting ané' is why james is a genius
The build-up to this moment, she literally teased out the secret ingredient for so long
I always assumed it was a gimmick as it’s usually stated in the intro which is obviously recorded post-interview. But fair play I’m convinced now!
I've watched this more times than I care to say.
@J P3 well how about this: what would you say if I called you Mitch and said "DP?"
I love this, I feel like I’m on the call as well. I want to meet James. I love him.
I am intrigued by the fact that James appears to be sitting on the floor.
Thank you for sharing HISTORY!
The best moment in podcast's history!
Amazing. Although I was hoping it would happen to someone really serious who they have only just met lol.
It would have been hilarious if it happened during Anthony Jeselnik's starter.
@J P3 Lol, I love James trying to fit the story into each episode and the running joke. I. hope he doesn't stop!
@@MrMongoose221 which story?

Might be my favorite TH-cam video 😂😂
Wait there’s a video version of the podcast ??? where can we watch them???

LEGENDARY
Love this! How do you watch the video version of the podcast (rather than just the audio) :)
I'm pretty sure they just upload video highlights to Twitter occasionally, one highlight every few episodes when something like this happens
I want to take James Acaster for desert - not just because he’s adorable but because he would destroy all the deserts lol
#jaydebangahundredsandthousands
one day, they're gonna make some poor guest cry because of this, and that will be a hard episode to listen to, lol
Where can I watch the full episodes? Watch not just listen
You can't generally, occasionally clips get uploaded like this for big moments
Iconic 😂

Nearly 150 episodes later and nothing! It will be electric when it happens
It all makes sense now.......
