I love the fact that you know how to decide when to go fast, where to play on the cymbal, when to end a verse/chorus with a hihat instead of a crash or even the fact that you splashed out heavy metal in the last chorus of the song, going wild with that double bass. The technique is impressive but the wisdom of knowing when to use it is something on another level and you my friend have that ability, keep going forth! - fellow drummer

The secret is, it's not drummless. In fact pretty much every cover he does still has drums in the background if you listen. He has said in the past that he does sometimes edit the song to take out as much of the drums as possible, but in this one it's very much present.
