@gabelogan5877 Yes, I have seen almost everything this channel has uploaded. It brings up long-term nostalgic memories after you get into the episodes. So, comforting... the Good stuff.💝💐🙏🦋
Whenever I would hear the Parent’hood theme song I would always think back to Rhythm & Blues theme song. Sounds like they removed the lyrics and gave the instrumental to Parent’hood.
@@JhomasE I've got no hate for the guy..he tried. It's just, I felt no chemistry among the cast at all once he walked in. The cast was vibing..until..it wasn't, imo. I kept giving it a chance, but I just wasn't laughing. Had to pull the plug and stopped watching after about 10 minutes in. Just streaming some old school tv shows whole relaxing and regret clicking on this one. lol
I love seeing the throwback shows, whether they made it or not, just for the memories. I noticed later on the black guy DJ is gone and Miguel Nunez appears, wonder what happened since the show wasn’t on long enough for there to be drama. As much as I would’ve loved for this to make it,I love me some Vanessa, Anna and Ron, this is kind of dry material. The main problem I have is them making the white DJ be the savior of the station that had been highly successful before the husband died. He is trying way too hard, sorry you’re not Robin Williams….
Uuhh...am I the only one who noticed that the radio studio in the beginning is the same set in "Martin"?? Even the fact that the show takes place in Detroit. 😮😮
I remember this show! Thought it had a great beginning but could tell that after the 3rd episode the show was dromed. Not funny enough and just wasn't strong enough to make it. So sad considering the talent of actors and actresses on the show.
It's so good to see all of these pilots that we never knew about!🤗 Thanks for posting!🙏💐🦋
Did you check out the other episodes. I think there were. Ten

Anna Maria Horsford was in everything back then.
I wish she was in my HOME back then ... and now
This show broke racial barriers.
Vanessa bell Calloway so fine & still is
I remember watching this and Out All Night on Saturday Night.
I remember this premiered after a different world on Thursdays, then after a long hiatus was moved to Fridays
I miss the 90s it was such a peaceful time
Say that again
AIDS, gangster rap, East Coast vs. West Coast beef, etc.
You got nostalgia glasses on. This was the tail end of the crack era.
Revisionist history cracks me up… the 90’s had its beautiful moments but that era was TOUGH. Peaceful my @$$
@@jdfodio I personally wasn't affected by your list. The '90s were the best era.
The white dude is over acting. Very cringy.
Exactly
Robin Williams he is not.
I love finding all these shows I never knew about
So someone really thought this show was gonna go far....suck😔
Right
Whenever I would hear the Parent’hood theme song I would always think back to Rhythm & Blues theme song. Sounds like they removed the lyrics and gave the instrumental to Parent’hood.
You and me both. Back in 1995 when the Parent Hood TV show started on the WB, I heard the song and immediately thought back to this show. Lol.
wow this show is really, really bad. The dude's humor is so cringe.
It was a Martin knockoff.
I’ve never heard of this one. I thought I’ve seen them all.
First time watching this.
3:07 That theme song brought me to The Parenthood theme song.
Yeah it do sound like it a lil bit.
I’m sure it’s the same person. Ralph Farquhar I will assume did the theme song. He did all the sitcoms music.
It’s got the same bassline
@@nlee4566 It's Monty Seward
As beautiful as Vanessa Bell Calloway and Anna Maria Horsford are I just can't watch this whole thing. Thank you for posting it though.
I agree with you. I watched this show when it first aired back in 1992. I was really trying to like it but something about it was just off to me.
@@JhomasEIt was the white dude. The show didn't need him..at all. An all star cast lead by him??
No.
@@Sim-dil-e-icious Roger Kabler was OK. He was the white guy. It’s just the show was not clicking with me. The writing definitely was not clicking.

Wannabe Robin Williams trying to hard
Robin Williams himself used to be trying too hard. Lol
The black WKRP
Never saw this pilot....its crazy. Alot of these showed up as Cosby Show was coming to an end.
Came out the same year as Martin. Martin was also a Detroit DJ. Hindsight is 20/20 - This wasn't up to par.
Wow all these great shows I never heard of 😮 it's a shame they were canceled before they ever got started
That lime green and black outfit is fire 🔥
They tried to do a white version of Martin.

Cool to see Hart plaza on the opening credits fun fact...the city is refurbishing the fountain and it should be back on soo

Thats the guy from Martin, he played a big time record label executive as Hustleman was playing Pick Up The Pieces with a Kazoo lol lol😂
i loved this show. 😢
That’s the radio station.
Dee had her own show lol
That is the Zima guy.
I remember this show….i watched it when it aired back then
it’s still not good. everyone deserves better.
It went up against Fox’s Martin. It’s not hard to see why it got its ass handed to it in ratings by Martin.
urbanpreppie!😅 white man stop hating! Watching this is funny as hell and people in this comment section agree!
This show has a terrible premise, horrible jokes, questionable cast....yet is somewhat entertaining, glad I found your channel of obscure gems! 😀👍🏻
nah.....this aint it
Man the 90s was such a special time.
Bad script Fr Fr but I love Vanessa and Anna. I’m going to try to finish it though lol

This series actually went to series. It was offensive in 1992 and it's offensive now in 2024.
I'm glad I missed it then. And all I can say now is we STILL deserved better.
I’m sure that Michael Jackson part is why this show never took off.
I watched this show the first time it aired it was so funny. But it got cancelled like most of the shows I like 😢
I forgot about this show
This seem like it had potential 🤔
I love this show. And, I just started this first episode. ❤️‼️🎶
Martin meets WKRP in Cincinnati.
@7:00 is Earl Prodigy from the group Mobb Deep??
😂😂😂😂
I remember this. My high school days.
Great show. Unfortunately, I didn't watch it due to its competition within the same time slot as Martin at the time.
Surprising they did not catch that he sounded white.
"Sounds like a horror movie" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So glad this show flopped...........
These is funny as hell!😅
Well, thank you for posting it though🙂
I thought this was a good show on NBC.
Same Raido station from Martin...
All these great shows
One show I’m glad I missed!
😂😂😂😂 cool show
This the Martin template?
How many pilots did Thelma Frye and George Washington Duke do together?
I think they thought they was makin an updated WKRP.
this was supposed to be a show aimed at martin....
So this is where the greats started from
I never heard of this what before
This show was 🗑️
Vanessa bell calloway failed pilot
She’s better at doing dramas.
