Finally I found a video how to cut bangs properly, at least the way I like it. It's hard to find a hairstylist that cuts bangs the way this man does. I've gone to high end to low end and have found a few hairstylist that cut bangs this way. This video is very helpful when teaching one to cut their own bangs.
Pamela S I have to admit my male stylist have been the only professionals who got the colour and cut correct. female stylists have always screwed up my hair and smile like an idiot at the end that I wanna knock their face off
The Hairdresser is a genius with the way he handles those scissors! I have to agree that cutting a fringe does take some skill as I found out when the only time I have cut my fringe ended in a total disaster that couldn't grow out quick enough, so I definitely need a hairdresser to do my hair. Though it is a pain as my fringe also seems to grow out within the space of a day.
My hairdresser will trim my bangs for free in between regular appointments, but I have trimmed them myself when desperate. I really like this video; actually going to do this today!
I really appriciate showing up close detailed how to cut the bangs, only one i found and love how they turned out. You are very stunning. thank you for sharing.
this was really helpful, i trim my own fringe and haven't had any major disasters yet so hopefully his tips will help keep it that way (wish i had a hair stylist who was that much fun!). also loved your song!
Thank u so much!! I wanted so bad a fringe like yours but had NO IDEA how to do it myself and it turned out amazing!! I'm totally in love with my hair again thanks to you guys!! :)
oh yay! v helpful. good to know the term "point cut". i've had too many communication breakdowns with hairdressers cutting my fringe. so sucky when you get a crappy fringe trim.
Brilliant! You're the one who inspired me to take the plunge and get my bangs again :] What products do you use to hold your fringe in place? Mine tends to piece together in an unflattering way that makes my hair look dirty (even if it's not!) xx
This video was very helpful! I followed the sectioning off technique while cutting my own bangs and they look GREAT! Whew! Thank you so much for posting this!
You look absolutely lovely. He did an amazing job. I would never ever attempt to do this myself!!! Your hair color so suits you. This was fun and informative to watch. Wish he had a salon in the states - Lucky you. Luv your channel. xoxo
I love this method! This is my second time using this. And it is easy to cut in your fringe the first time if you learn how to section it off properly before you start.
I want him to cut my hair....He is GOOD! Dang. Thank you so much for this VERY helpful video. I can do this...I always end up cutting my own bangs before its time for the stylist. I am looking forward in trying this technique.
love the scissor flair! great tutorial! the close up shots and explanations were very helpful to me! . the vanity in the background is such a pretty piece of furniture~antique? SUPER! thank you!
Kenna is awesome! If I ever make it to the UK I will be in his chair. And your hair looks beautiful, they always do an amazing colour on you. Thanks for the video! :)
Thank you for this! It was really helpful. I've given myself bangs (fringe) on a whim before, and I definitely could have used good advice (I could have done without the booze too, probably :P). I really love Kenna, he seems pretty fantastic, not to mention a great hairstylist. Thanks for sharing!
my fringe and I have had a love/hate relationship since my mum took me for my first haircut when I was a kid... almost 20 years later I still keep going back. It's sort of like an addiction... an expensive high maintenance one. Hahaha!
Thanks for this video! My stylist charges me 25 every time I come in for a trim on my fringe bangs, which is every 2 weeks! Not anymore, not after seeing this video. I can do this myself from now on :)
Oooo you suit this haircut so much! He did some handy moves with those scissors! wish i could have a block fringe, but DOES NOT suit my face shape :( x
If only this had been up the other day before I reached for the scissors! One uneven fringe later, I'm worried if I cut it any shorter it'll be like that woman's on the compensation advert! Plus, it doesn't help it's decided to go gappy! :L Oh merde :L! Haha! Great video as ever and your fringe looks fab! :) You should have way more subscribers, I love your videos! x
I always have terrible luck with my bangs. Every time I've gone to the hairdresser and have asked for a fringe it turns out terrible. I've resorted to cutting it myself and I'm still not satisfied. I need this fellow in my life to it for me.
I think if you leave it straight it suits a round face, whereas you could round the shape of the fringe to soften an angular or square face. my face is round/oval so strong lines work best for me 😊

Wow! I just followed these instructions exactly and, at 51, I feel cute again! Thank you! xoxo
it sounds dramatic but I finally cut my own fringe and it's changed my face completely. delighted
By FAR the best tutorial on how to cut bangs!! It worked GREAT!! Thanks!!
i love how he swings the scissors like a gun in a wild west american film.

That's beautiful work!! I hairdress in Australia and do my wife's very similar...Lovely technique
You suit bangs so much! And blonde hair! You should go back to this colour and style
gorgeous. i have that really straight hair, like you and now considering bangs- because of this vid
Love your hair colour in this video. How is it dyed, is it just highlights?
the girl in this video really did look so good in a shoulder-length hairstyle with bangs!

So helpful - thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. Fringe trimmed successfully and I'm feeling sassy again ;)
I tried his technique and I love it!!!! I'm not afraid to pick up a pair of scissors and do some snipping lol. Your hair looks fabulous!
that was great! I've been hacking away for months now at my fringe, feel more confident now that I can do a half decent job next time xx
Ruth, can you suggest the best way to grow out fringe? I always end up cutting it because It just looks so bad when I pin it back.
I cut myself a fringe without having one to start off with and it was defiantly hard but if you have the right technique it turns out well
Thank you for this! It was really helpful.

Wow, very good. Subtle movement & total attention to every detail. Superbly flattering. (And hilarious video! lol)
It's kinda difficult to maintain good looking bangs when you have glasses (glasses come in the way :( )
Kay Clifførd 卌 PHAN yassss phandom

Thank you so much for this technique, just did it and it worked amazing 👍❣💯💋

Very good (informative) video! Thank you! I'm so tired of hairdressers not cutting my bangs the way I want them. Now I can do it myself!
@TheLizHaley I'll do a little video on it! xx
Thanks to this video, I successfully trimmed my fringe! Thank you :)
@kimberlysue2287 mine are growing out now - have a look at the video posted today, you can see that they just kind of fall to the sides! x
@SilkMandel very brave, I'm impressed!! x
I used this technique to trim my toddlers bangs. Looks pretty good, thanks
All hairdressers should be able to do this
@pamelahl1 yes, full of antiques! x
I totally wish he could do my hair! The lady is really beautiful too!
does she need to iron her fringe every day or does it stay just like that because of the trim??
I wish I had straight hair
lovely. very informative vid. wish he was my hairdresser. perfect hair.
Is she the one that says "get the London look"?? 😂😂
NamJin Trash No
NamJin Trash that's what I thought 😂
No, that is Georgia Jagger.
Oooo you suit this haircut so much! He did some handy moves with those scissors! wish i could have a block fringe, but DOES NOT suit my face shape :( x

You are so pretty and I like how you clarified the things he says! :) Stay beautiful!
He's amazing. I wish I knew some where here to cut my bangs like that.. The lady who did mine the first time cut them wayyyy way way to short.
I didn't realize bangs grew out that fast but it's so true. Just cut mine 2wks ago and already it's not laying the same way because it grew.
Thank you! x
omg she's beautiful
yesss :o
Sandra Jones I love her teeth. it makes her more attractive.
@weasalw thanks! xx
he's like Edward Scissor Hands with those scissors. Very talented guy x
My fringe drives me absolutely crazy but I couldn't be without it :(
would these bangs be good for my round face?
yeah
I love Kenna!
She is gorgeous!
I expected him to leave it kind of longer towards the sides though, more like round.
I think if you leave it straight it suits a round face, whereas you could round the shape of the fringe to soften an angular or square face. my face is round/oval so strong lines work best for me 😊
He's a perfectionist!!!!
this is amazing, definitely going to try this later :D thank you x
this was really helpful, thank you!! ^ ^
I loved how he grabs the scissors !!!!
GREAT TUTORIAL!
great video
Wow, you look so much like Nico from The Velvet Underground.
I think you should cut your fringe again, it suit you well...And i love how he cut them :)
Is that pic of you in the backround there behind you??? If so thats sweet:)
Alternatively, grab a pair of garden shears, close your eyes and hope for the best!! LOL! I'm just kidding, great video, really helpful!! Thanks!! :)
omg my name is Kenna too! lol so rare that I find someone else by that name
I would kill for hum yo do my hair haha! I love your hair with or without bangs xoxo
so pretty! x
I meant for him to do my hair, he seems amazing!
@kimberlysue2287 When my fringe grew out I wore it as side swept bangs so i think u can wear them like that
You remind me so much of Pattie Boyd!
Thank you so much!
GOD DAM thats a nice hair cut!
Your bangs look awesome! But i'm scared to do that, i don't know to hold scissors like that...He should do that slower!
She is a beautiful girl! Hair is lovely!
She was a rimmel model, now I see her doing either Maybeline or cover girl, I can't remember which.
Mia and Penny's Place no, this is Ruth Crilly
lol i used to do the same thing...but now i have new way to do that even better and less time...
yay mission achieved, fringe no longer in eyes, now all i need is a good colourist, most hairdressers dont do good blonde, its a nightmare lottery.
I love your teeth, that looks so unique
I just get my mom to trim my fringe :P She's not a hairdresser but she is really good at hair :P
many thanks♥♥♥♥
