I showed this video to my mom, and asked her to cut my bangs, I LOVE it! I have been wanting this kind of bangs for forever! They turned out great. Thank you so much!
You two are quite possibly two of my favorite instructors. You both communicate so beautifully and I'm learning so many brilliant tips. Thank you so much for these videos. They're greatly appreciated!
I just did the technique for the side swept fringe on a fellow student during student services and they came out beautiful! I love how there is no need to refine and they flip perfectly in either direction! Thanks Sam & Andrew for this video! Can't wait to bring this to my guests!
Thank you for this & all your videos Andrew and Sam. I always thoroughly enjoy your instruction, methods & communication. Always something great from you two!
Just came across your videos, and they're fantastic! So informative and detailed, both the knowledge and demos, you always answer my questions in my head and I end up learning more. As an amateur who cuts my own hair, I think I'll be hooked to your channel, thank you!
Thank you so much for the chunky textured bangs tutorial. I have really thick curly hair and really thick bangs that always have some wave in them (they will not respond to heat). This style allows me to trim my bangs when needed and have them look great without looking blunt across or totally uneven due to the wave in them. I have no more worries about wind or humidity because these bangs look awesome all the time. Thanks again :)
Thank you very much for inventing and sharing this technique 👍.... Mr. Villa you are brilliant ! Andrew you are a great teacher thank you to you both .👍
hi Sam I one of your fan. I am from India Bangalore I am also in this profession but no other professional taught me as you did . I was in basic level of cutting after watching your videos now I had more confidence in me plz . don't stop this work and share your ideas. thanks a lot
Thanks dolls! Exactly what I want in my fringe, and exactly what I was doing wrong. I couldn’t get the “vandalized” look as I did before. Perfect term by the way.
So funny... my wife and I just barely watched a Buzz Feed mini documentary about ASMR! I had never heard of it till then... I definitely take that as a compliment :-) (this is Andrew commenting)
Brilliant technique Andrew. It really work well if we do point cutting from opposite direction and then do thinning of density for free movement, instead of using this texture shear as it giving a broad pointed edges
I do like the technique of using the texturizing shears to not get such a harsh line. I usually point cut when bringing the bangs to the opposite side but I will try this next time I like the look that it gave!
I love the texture of that second fringe, this might be the method I need to get my extremely thick hair to a level I can work with for side bangs. It tends to grow flat on my face so i either have to have heavy block fringe ala Bettie Page or it just ends up split into unflattering curtains
I love the chunky textured hair and I tried it at home but I cutted a bit too much and I have a question do you have some styling tips for the chunky textured hair ?
J've been watching videos using texturizing shears, and I can't see which blade is up or on the bottom. I've only once heard you mention it and I'd like to know why you choose what you do. I have an opinion but don't know what is correct to achieve what I'm after. Thanks! Love the videos!
Ah LOVE this! something they never showed us in college was how to cut and style bangs, there are so many different looks and as you always say has a huge impact as its in the front. Question do you always take a triangle section ? i was using the framing the face layer to cut a side swept fringe but seeing this is great so much better. i wish i worked for your company i learn so much through you tutorials thanks again
This is a brilliant look. Also i was wondering if you could do a hair cut for a bob. Not the standard bob But a asymmetrical bob With the front length much longer than the back?
I know this video is 2 years old, but I only wear my hair on a side fringe with pieces cut into them for volume. I wear my part to the left. Do you have a technique for someone to do themselves when in between haircut? Thanks for the tutorial!!
Sam villa, I want to be a stylist, in all saloon fields but I don't have resources to do all courses, I have my own small saloon, please suggest me what cane I do?
Wow. This looks great. I have to remember this technique. I could slightly increase the angle for each section for an even edgier look, like on my Goth daughter.
I tried this technique on my doll thank god it was my doll and not a client. When I tried it I think I cut too much and it kinda looked good but some parts were standing up and stuff.I think you have to bend the hair and cut it where it stops bending? idk all I know is that I did some mistake :l
part of the challenge with the hair standing up is probably the mannequin hairline... they tend to stand up pretty easy in the fringe area. good lesson though because some of our guests have growth patterns that will do the same thing and the fringe needs to be longer to keep the weight
I am a big fan of most of Sam's videos but this one... Not so much. To me, it doesn't look much like a side bang period at the end it seemed to like things that go all the way across the forehead and honestly looks more uneven rather than textured. If I did this to one of my clients I feel like they would be unhappy.
hi! sam sir, I just wanted to know!! before cutting you are doing shampoo conditioner and blow dry? & y ? I was done my hair course in VLCC Institute it's totally time waste and money waste they are not teaching properly at Borivali branch in Mumbai
love the idea but you have a model sitting still and she is your perfect customer but the customers i get cant stand the hair down in their face and they wont sit still and will move when you do this technique with the fringe! How do i handle that with my customer?
I LOVE this texture. I'm shocked by the negative comments. Thank you - just what I was looking for.
I showed this video to my mom, and asked her to cut my bangs, I LOVE it! I have been wanting this kind of bangs for forever! They turned out great.
Thank you so much!
I don't even know how to cut hair and I've learned so much about hair cutting just watching these videos, it's unbelievable.
hot tip love it when he has silly puns
LOVE this! Thank you both for staying on the "cutting edge" of our profession. You guys Rock!!
The model is so sweet but let her smile when she wants.
Thank you very much for the video

Then not these two clowns
hi Sam I one of your fan. I am from India Bangalore I am also in this profession but no other professional taught me as you did . I was in basic level of cutting after watching your videos now I had more confidence in me plz . don't stop this work and share your ideas. thanks a lot

That woman with the dead eyes and the frozen smile... What happened to her?

+imakefoodhappen they cut her hair.... xD
imakefoodhappen hahahahaha
😂😂😂 noooooo!
That's what I was thinking... V distracting.. Looks like a mannequin
you guys always chop these beautiful girls hair off & they lose that big smile they started with...so saaaaaddddd
Sam+ Andrew, I loved the ideal and the look!
I just love you guys, your energy is always so fantastic.
she's literally smiling the *whole time*
As hair fell into her mouth too..
+Neveah Cay No, as her bangs fell in chunks her eyes started to turn red. She was not happy with chunky bangs.
+zuzu petals I am betting she went the next day and had a blunt cut done to her fringe/bangs.
YEAH HAHAHA I'M LIKE WHY

Wow! That is such an awesome look! Love it Sam!
Thanks dolls! Exactly what I want in my fringe, and exactly what I was doing wrong. I couldn’t get the “vandalized” look as I did before. Perfect term by the way.
Thanks so much Julie!
Very nice bangs! Beautiful! Different style. More this!
genious! cant wait to use this technique. thank you guys for sharing your knowledge with me.
Andrew's voice is asmr. So relaxing.
So funny... my wife and I just barely watched a Buzz Feed mini documentary about ASMR! I had never heard of it till then... I definitely take that as a compliment :-) (this is Andrew commenting)
Mr. Sam Villa you are the best instructor. Thanks so much...I would love to attend your salon as a licensed stylist to learn more....🙏😘
Brilliant technique Andrew. It really work well if we do point cutting from opposite direction and then do thinning of density for free movement, instead of using this texture shear as it giving a broad pointed edges
That was amazing, I absolutely love the results!
If I had had teachers like these guys, I would have been so smart.
Love your videos so informative & Sam has the best personality 👍🏼 can't wait to try these fringe techniques
I was nervous while I was watching but the finished look was very soft.
How did you feel when the left side of the fringe turned out way longer than the right side tho? Omg
I do like the technique of using the texturizing shears to not get such a harsh line. I usually point cut when bringing the bangs to the opposite side but I will try this next time I like the look that it gave!
I Love the Soft Look! Thank you for sharing! This Video!!😊
I think model's name should be introduced too.
this is how it looks like when my DIY fringe goes bad!
All that work too 😂
I love the texture of that second fringe, this might be the method I need to get my extremely thick hair to a level I can work with for side bangs. It tends to grow flat on my face so i either have to have heavy block fringe ala Bettie Page or it just ends up split into unflattering curtains
Love it!! New, fresh and forward. Modern. 👍🏼👍🏼
Funny that's how I cut my bangs as a 5 year old with a pair of kindergarten scissors. Didn't know I was so talented.
LOL....all one needs is to feather angled with a set of thinning shears....easy peazy.
I love the chunky textured hair and I tried it at home but I cutted a bit too much and I have a question do you have some styling tips for the chunky textured hair ?

Frange hyper travaillée. Bravo . Quels artistes...! Dommage je ne comprends pas l'anglais ! mais la vision de la technique me suffit .Merci ..!
This is a brilliant look.
Also i was wondering if you could do a hair cut for a bob. Not the standard bob But a asymmetrical bob With the front length much longer than the back?
I love Sam villa from long time when I saw his first video and I wish to go and join him .
This was so help and amazing!!! Thank you
I cut hair and I have no clue what chewy texture is lol
Excellence hair cut band tutorial , thanks
You prabably should try another profession! lol
The whole time she's smiling, she must be thinking 'what did I get myself into?'.
Don't worry sweetie, it will grow back.
I can totally tell she was happy with the side swept bang and then it all went downhill with the short bang.
Thanks Sam and Andrew
Did the 1st one. Works great!

Christine Tiger can't belive they are giving such a horrible technique on cutting those bangs smh
Looks like 7yo me trying to get bangs myself
Not smiling too much after those bangs! lol
Wow. This looks great. I have to remember this technique. I could slightly increase the angle for each section for an even edgier look, like on my Goth daughter.
which salon can do that here in new zealand.. i want to have the fringes, i have a baby fine hair too
I tried this technique on my doll thank god it was my doll and not a client. When I tried it I think I cut too much and it kinda looked good but some parts were standing up and stuff.I think you have to bend the hair and cut it where it stops bending? idk all I know is that I did some mistake :l

You can tell she doesn’t like it
The first one was lovely....the second looks like a mistake I made to my bangs when I was 12....until I fixed them.
Wow... i love you Sam Villa.. ever get to New Hampshire? i would love to get a great haircut before i die
Very nice. Its sit on her very well.
Love Sam and Andrew. Both extremely talented but not the egos that sometimes go with it in this industry.
Thank you Nicole!
I bet she left the place sobbing...then probably binged on ice cream for a week
Ayesha AlSuwaidi the models usually go into places like this and are told before they start that they are essentially giving up their hair
her bangs looked awesome before the other guy touchec it
Fantastic tutorial!
was that an insight joke@ 1:34?
beautiful fringe love it
hi! sam sir, I just wanted to know!! before cutting you are doing shampoo conditioner and blow dry? & y ?
