    Teoh, does the the brightness reset to the default level whenever you switch an input in sRGB mode? I had this issue on the 13-inch version where the brightness kept resetting whenever I switched input for example. I needed to turn the device off and on or enter the brightness menu for the device to realise it was at the wrong level to reset itself.

    Do you just plug the USB port to the USB to AC adapter and leave it plug in while you use the monitor? Or is there a battery inside and only need to be charge up when it's low? If so, then there is a lifespan of these LCD due to the battery life?

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is no battery. It's powered by USB-C from the computer, but if computer cannot provide enough power an additional cable to power source is needed. Lifespan is many years depending on how many hours you use it a day.

      @@teohontech7141 first of all, thanks for the reply. So people who doesn't need battery should avoid models such as the MB16AWP then? and that's what I want--no battery. I am not connecting this to a PC. I need this on a Oppo Blu-ray player, so I should be able to connect the USB-C to a USB to AC Adapter that plugs to the wall?

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@HappyHopping11 The advantage of built-in battery is the display will not drain the battery of portable devices, e.g. laptops, tablets. This will be able to connect to your blu-ray player and if there is enough power you can use one single cable. If there's not enough power to power the display, you will have to connect another cable from display to power.

    Hello
    If you have experience with Samsung Dex and touchscreens combo I wanted to ask for advices. I also appreciate answers from any viewer, in case the creator of this channel can't respond to my message.
    I'm interested in using Samsung Dex with a touchscreen monitor myself. Since I spend time in my home mostly and don't really need an additional battery. To not mske things longer, I have my eyes on two devices.
    1. Magedok OLED full HD 13,3. Has touchscreen and no battery. Very similar to Asus Zenscreen OLED 13,3
    2. Magedok IPS full HD 14'. Similar to above, just a little bigger and IPS instead of OLED technology. Had no battery as well.
    My phone is Samsung S20 FE. I tested Samsung Dex using another monitor (no touchscreen) and it works, but drains my battery very fast. So asking about BOTH monitors my questions are as follows:
    1. Does plugging the power source (to the monitor) stop phone battery drainage? Does it even slow it? I watched reviews, but all they say is that plugging the monitor I can just boost the brightness. So I'm worried it would still consume my phone's battery even when I plug monitor to separate energy source (even if it doesn't need it).
    2. If you aren't sure about the above. What would you recommend me to get additionally? Would buying an USB adapter solve it? I have hope that maybe an active (and not passive) adapter could help, being able to PD power deliver devices using it. Any experience with using it?
    3. Most importantly. Can an use touch screen from the MONITOR when connecting monitor to my phone? Does it transfer both signal (image) AND touch or just the image? I want to control my phone through the monitor (its touchscreen), so both signal and touch transfers are needed.
    4. If the above is true, how much control it gives. Can I use the monitor just like I used my phone? Meaning, could I play 3D android games and use controls just like on my phone? I play one game especially (Sky Children of the Light), it has two on screen 'sticks' (for moving the character and camera, with two thumbs). So I was wondering if using Samsung Dex I can play it normally just like with my phone - Or if it supports only clicking one area at the time (so I couldn't play normally with both thumbs and move the character/camera at the same time). You can even test the game itself if you got some time as it's free and without adds. I'm worried that it works just like a mouse even with touchscreen and offers zero support for multiple touch points pressed at the same time.
    For now this is all. Thank you.
    Best wishes, Jon
