Once you put the samples on the pads and hit em'...them baby's sounded totally different. Is it the D/A converter in that 2000 ?
it may be that the samples are layered with a low pas filter applied to them... as i usually apply this to almost all of my samples. Also i have the onboard ebfx card... the mpc records exactly how your sample sounds when you record into it when played back

m44 shure, any dj stylus needle, just do your homework on it firdt before purchasing... you want sound reproduction quality not just to spin it backwards... i jhave the gold ortofon its known for having good sound quality and not skipping

@@dubsbangermusic Yup and 13 of them are just mold farms, 2 of them look good as you're sliding them out the sleeve then you realize 1/4 of the record is literally missing, 4 of them might be usable but they arent in the record section they're placed randomly through the rest of the store, and 1 of them will be a gem which is the only reason you keep coming back. The pleasure and agony of thrift store digging.

im not big on bass all my samples are double up with one layer being filtered out low end bass
@@dubsbangermusic Gotcha. Filter works if the sample has bass but if it doesn't you gotta add your own. Takes a while to get good at it though. Primo is a good example, his basslines were always really simple but effective ;)
