I believe, after watching this, that your time you put in is outta Love for the art and not likes to bank. In my career it's always been the ones that give of themselves from the heart/love of what they do that a man sees the blessings of the Lord bestowed upon him. I'd say as being a Christian and a man of God who had a background in the music industry/love for it on all levels/rock to hip hop but hip hop/R&B/Gospel my love, that God can bless you, work through you, touch lives, and TRULY BLESS YOU ON EVERY LEVEL, to change the contemporary music industry with influencing it with the Lord! If we stay quiet and let the Lord work!!!!! Zaytoven for example! God bless you brother! Thanks. Sound selection comes with listening to music and how it is made. You have listened to alot of music yourself. Match what you hear with what you are making. Thats how you choose.
Dope video! I just downloaded halftime but i can't get it to show in the MPC software. Can you share the steps you took to get the plug in up and running?
Thanks! There are no steps. It loaded fine just like all my other plugins. Make sure you are using VST version. Not VST3. Other than that ... the reason for a plugin not showing can be a list of reasons.
Hey thanks for all your vids! What I can't figure out is, how do I loop a sample in the Sample Edit view so I can fine tune loop points? I am enabling the loop icon, but it just isn't looping.

Trust me my man if your sample are choppy or clicking and popping then you either have a dirty sample or your chopping is off somewhere. 👍🏾 if you want to learn how to get rid of all of that then that is what my live help sessions are for. Cant explain all that on TH-cam. Link is always in my newer videos. 👍🏾
You can... everything but the plugins. I dont use stand alone. Didnt pay all this money to go back to the old way of making beats. I paid for the software. If I want to use standalone I'll dig up my old MPCs for that. 👍🏾

When you google your time zone you will see something that says GMT5 ... the reason you see that is because there are more than one state in your time zone... cant list them all or you would be scrolling for days. Those letters are how you categorize the time zone. Pick any one that has the same time and you are good. 👍🏾 any website... phone... computer... anything that allows you to pick time zones work the same way.

Hey man I got a question. Do you chop from the sample that’s time stretched, and when you change from one tempo to another do you have to hit undo?

Interesting tips. Sometimes I process samples in my phone with some app like Caustic and export back to to the PC.
I've actually tried that a few times couldn't find much FX so I didn't use apps anymore. Do you know of any others ??

n Track free on Android has some nice effects and instruments. Nothing one cannot have on PC but still cool.

In sample edit press pad 16. That will loop your sample for you so you can adjust beginning and end points

One question. Is that parametric eq stock on the DAW? I use that EQ a lot in Logic and it's the one I prefer.
Not stock. You can tell the akai stock stuff. They stick to a certain GUI. Nothing like this. 👍

There are multiple ways to fix clicks and pops in sample. The main reason it happens is because your sample isnt chopped to fit the bpm.
