Not a sin was had lol. Gospel records are hidden gems fa sho. My first beattape was a gospel boom bap themed album. There are many cuts to be found, and even the occasional break or fill (that's super rare though). Dope beat too 🔥
The way you break down the programming in a simple way is really helpful. Keep it up with the type beat tutorials. Evidence, DJ Premier, Dr. Dre would all be great to see
Thank you, great track and you explained your process really well. While I don't make exactly the same kind of music, these tips are pretty applicable to a lot of sample based styles!
The face you made at 4:37 said it all. I call that the "Stank Face". Typically a sign that things are about to get real. This was a pleasure to watch as usual. Please keep bringing the people these quality tutorials.
Nice fam!! I’m nodding my head furiously over here in agreement lmaoooo. Every time I thought you and I were diverging on opinions, you were like nah, re-record 💥💥💥😂🤘💯
Master class! Thanks for the easy to understand but rewardingly to master. I was wondering these samples are all from the same song? Can you mention the tracks names?
Yo! I’m not attacking you at all when I ask this (dead serious)- how old are you? The reason I ask is (this is my own theory so not quote me) that I think from about 2007ish-2012-13ish the frequencies from “trap” snares messed up everyone’s ears. Pre chief keef. No one in the US knew what Drill was, maybe grime if you were as dope as me 😂 (kidding). It’s crazy that it’s such a point of contention with audiences now though!
New subscriber and man this beat is insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥 did you sample from one song from the record or did you pick different songs on the record to sample from
The beat is dope, man, but what about the copyrights infringement? Is it safe to use these samples this way? What if you sold the beat to the real artist and got into trouble because someone owns it?
@@yeaokay7871 Ya'll can't seem to create your own ideas, just borrow from what's already been done 😉 and act like it's something new ya'll discovered 😆
@@tonytemple8195 No one ever said they discovered it. You do know what sampling is right? It's taking something already created and turning it into something new lmao. So when black people sample it's okay but when white people sample it's stealing. You hella racist bro get a life
Let’s not forget to respect and honor the Gospel tracks you’re using. Gospel is sacred to us Black Americans, just like Blues is. All our music is really, but Gospel has a special place within our culture. Yaint got Soul, you prob don’t understand but word. Nice beat though
The way you speak about how dope Gospel samples are shows how little knowledge and respect you have for the music. You treat it like it was created only to be sampled. Not that you should do a history class on the topic (I wouldn't expect you to know the topic) but you're dismissive of the music in a way you're not even aware of. Plus, Maceo is pronounced "Maseo", not "Makeo". Please learn about what you're sampling. It gives culture vulture vibes.
Bro.... This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
some Apollo brown shit right there 🔥💯👌
No-one teaches and makes me want to create at the same time quite like you. Thanks man
A great choir to listen for from the 70s/80s is the Institutional Radio Choir of NY.

I keep waiting for a snare… I think it would be 100x better with a crispy 9th wonder snare

how did you figure out the bpm for this, before you laid down the gospel chops to begin with?
Kool G Rap, K.R S. One, Mobb Deep or M.O.P. all over dat!
