Every time I hear British bell chimes, I always picture Mr. Bean jumping out of his bed on Christmas morning and putting on his "Christmas socks" 🧦🧸
yeeeea, same
@@laislCH big ben chimed at the beginning
don't forget his presents for teddy and the mouse lol
It is so comforting to hear the bells of Westminster Abbey chiming.
Yeah, only one Christmas, hearing those around Halloween ain’t no fun! Especially after watching a horror movie

I wish we had these bells at our church, it's like a calming sound that soothes your soul.
Such a comforting, calming sound.
Big Ben:WAKE UP
Westminster abbey:AHHH LET ME JUST TURN OFF MY ALARM
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
wonderful bells, happy birthday HM Queen Elizabeth II.
Love how shortly before you can hear Big Ben chiming just on the other side of the street.
The bells of Westminster Abbey are "change ringing" an English tradition.
Indeedy.

0:01 Big ben, before the restoration work.
Nope. it called Big Abbey.
Wow thanks for that. I didn't even hear big Ben lol
Sounds of Heaven
thanks.
Beautiful
Big Ben was giving Westminster Abbey a wake-up call...
Correction: bells did not "toll" - they raang
What’s the difference?
@@akiyl7479 I think "toll" is only one chime one stroke of the clock.
@@videojuncky1514 yes. Its particularly used in case of death
@@gsntksmnksh7867 True. Half muffled for a reverend /holy men - bearing in mind some RC churches still ring. Full muffle for a monarch...
@@gsntksmnksh7867 do you ring?
They are ringing with joy 😊😊😊
the bells are not tolling. they are peeling. bells toll in mourning a common error
What a glorious monument!
Que harmonia bela!
Realmente é um dos mais belos conjuntos de sinos de Catedrais do Mundo.
Princess Diana,

Olivia Alwen Yo white chapel is a great band!
The bells on this chuch always ring like that? I would love to see them live. Im going to london on 2 weeks
It is very difficult to get access at Westminster Abbey, but very many churches in the UK have bells rung according to the same tradition. You can inquire at any church whom to contact if you want to see the bell ringers doing their thing live.
Hey I saw this place on the Minions
Same
Happy birthday your makesty
It’s majesty not makesty
@@saif_roblox762 whatever perfect boy ha ha
Something about all ten sounding in order always sounds like a celebratory announcement.
These bells are not being chimed... they are being swung full circle by a team of ten bell ringers, one to a bell.
What time did these ring? 1pm?
Yep. To me, I think the bells are beautiful.
no. its 7.05.
Dimer820 XxxxX big ben
It’s like a huge beat box !
These bells are chiming not TOLLING. A common error in vocabulary. Bells TOLL at funerals and chime otherwise.
Ringing actually the first one is chiming
michael checkley these bells are not chiming they're ringing.
In a chime the bells are hung dead which means they do not move bur are hit either by an externally hammer or even a clapper.
Tolling really refers to the ringing of a single bell but again this is a loose term.
This is English change ringing.
Each vell swings full circle through 360 degrees with in this case 10 ringers ringing 10 individual bells
@@fredmills368 what's the difference between ringing and chiming?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Very good question Chimin gis just swinging the bell through a small arc. Ringing is 360 degrees where the bell is turned upside down each alternate stroke these are called the handstroke and backstroke. hope that helps :))
I wanted to hear big ben chimes
