Must be an honor! I’m American, but the bells wouldn’t sound so beautiful, wouldn’t sound at all, without bell ringers. Thank you for helping ring the church bells. God bless you! 🇮🇱✝️🙏
Thank you so much for this video. I play it almost daily. I love the Royal Family and there's nothing more wonderful than the sound of change-ringing. I have heard it both at Westminster Abbey and at York Minster and there's just nothing like it anywhere else. Thank you again. Bob in USA
Robert Pavlick I am also American. I am an American Anglophile. I am an Anglophile because of t Diana and her extended family, Gothic and Tudor architecture, and Sir David Willcocks arrangements for the Choir of King's College, Cambridge.
The bells are in the key of D At 0:45 you can hear the bells switch from a plain scale decent to high notes then low notes in an alternating order. I believe it is called a stedman
I like it even better here, because this was a *joyful occasion* Bells pealing (instead of tolling) after a funeral, especially when the deceased was young and beloved like Diana was, is *bittersweet* But for a wedding, the bells pealing is *perfectly appropriate* Peal on, the louder the better.
At the funeral, the bells were half muffled, that means they were ringing possibly the exact same piece of ringing, however as traditional for funerals or remembrance, a leather pad (muffle) is attached to one side of the clapper, so one pull the bell rings out normally and the next pull it rings out muffled.
william , should have been more helpful in assisting his bride , kate , into the carriage.............there are no words for those bells , other-worldly , maybe.............
Thanyou for uploading this. I was in a tower, ringing bells!
Lol 😂 I’ve rang at Westminster abbey to!

I just remember her sisters azz in that dress. She outshined the bride.

He should have seen her up into the carriage BEFORE he went in. Not the actions of a gentleman and I do not care if he is royalty.
Horse carriages are clumsy
Catherine is beautiful but that dress isn't
Forget the nonsense show Meghan put on her wedding when she finally "realised" she was black ... this is what I prefer for the Royal Wedding
What?! You don't think she knows she is black? I am sure she was made to feel her colour in that family!
