- EU4 Bavaria has one of the most fun mission trees in EU4... but is it the best? It enables you to get personal unions over nations such as Austria, Hungary and the Palatinate! Here you can form Bavaria then dominate the HRE... or even form the Holy Roman Empire - much better than forming the Roman Empure, right? In any case, no EU4 Bavaria guide needed, just give it a go!

As landshut there’s an event that gives you ingolstadt. Which is why you should have declared on Munich first.

Here is something you might find fun for a future video: In the 1356 mod, you can start as Zoroastrian Mazandaran and try to revive the Sasanian Empire, as your starting dynasty is distantly related to them. Its a challenging start: All your neighbours are muslim & Timur will spawn in Transoxiana at a certain point with some insane bonuses - and if you are unlucky he will live a long life and dominate all of Persia and Central Asia. But if you manage to prevail you get to form a new tag 'Eranshahr' with some excellent ideas and a lot of claims.
Ayyy just did this yesterday, the strat is simply to defend forts and stack discipline modifiers. I had to beat the Mughals and Ottomans in 2 seperate wars at one point and somehow got on top with just defending and stack wiping, almost quit ngl. Oh and trade money is amazing in Persia as usual.

I've gotten this bug before, albeit never with a guaranteed consort spawn. Sometimes random consorts of mine will be male though idk why.

As an american used to heatwaves and not living with AC, heres a tip - if its hotter indoors than outdoors use a fan to blow air out the window IIRC it helps a lot.

C) You like the money & growth associated.
D) Despite all your complaints about EU4, you love EU4.
E) You love the attention that comes from daily uploads.
Don't know you personally, so I cannot tell you the answer. But hopefully you know. For the community, its mostly A&B in combination. :D

Last time i played Bavaria Inglostadt was allied to Aragon and Munich to Burgundy.
I went through a bunch of starts where Bohemia either allied or guaranteed Munich, sometimes Austria allied one too. I didn't have the patience to wait and just rerolled. Laith likes pain more than I do :D.

If someone is going for a Bavaria run and is stuck because Austria and/or Bohemia ally the PU targets here are some tips.
The very first thing you should do is to check the attitude of both Austria and Bohemia towards you and the other two bavarian countries (and Salzburg). Austria almost always chooses one of the three to be protective towards. If they do that on one of the others, restart right away, cause they will ally. Best case is when Austria is protective towards you which allows you to ally them instandly.
Bohemia is neutral in most cases, but they can randomly ally one of them. If they do that, just savescum. Bohemia will most likely ally a diferent HRE minor. Also go sure that both Austria, Bohemia or Hungary dont ally Salzburg.
Landshut is by far the best bavarian minor to start as. Not only do they have a great ruler and a decent heir but they can also get the PU on Ingolstadt for free from an event within the first two years if Ingolstadt doesnt get an heir in that time. So you only need to enforce the PU on Munich.
When you enforce the PU on Munich, also annex their vassal Passau. This allows you to fullfill the mission "expand Bavaria" much sooner. You ll only have to take Salzburg too.
Thats why Salzburg shouldnt ve strong allies. Because you have to annex them to progress your missions. Regensburg is a free city and far too costly to take AE wise. And Oberpfalz belongs to the Palatinate you want to PU after completing this mission with the CB you ll get. You can take Ragensburg later when you either are the Emperor yourself and removed their free city status or you disbanded the HRE.

I think you really missed an opportunity to do another centaur campaign in Annebennar.
See I wanted to try Bavaria for a moment. Yesterday I did just that. Lost my union with Munich (idk how) so I had to wait to conquer them again, in the meantime, call me crazy but I got espionage ideas for expansion with the HRE. Conquered a bunch of shit around (espionage in HRE with -10 AE impact from era bonuses do be poppin), got an economy going, got the Austria as allies, made Bavaria at last, and I kept conquering because the emperor loves me and I have -30% AE impact... Got big, no coalition whatsoever, weird feeling in the HRE if you're warring all the time. And then my game got ruined. Internal conflicts. My prince died, Austria broke alliance IMMEDIATELY and said they want my land (I sold it to them and then they wanted another province so alt+f4...) so I look for any allies, nobody, I got some countries close but not in time. I got jumped by Austria, they pretty much uno reversed all of my game in that 1 war, had to deal with the 25k rebellion troops, autonomy went through the roof, NOW England, Poland, Milan said that we could be friends (too little too late), Austria said they don't want to be enemies AND WOULD WANT TO GET AN ALLIANCE IF NOT THE TOO MANY DIPLO RELATIONS SHIT, dealing with rebelion brought me to bankrupcy, I thought no biggie, I have truces with everyone anyway, and my prince died yet again triggering a personal union war with me, england, portugal, and a bunch of Dutch minors vs Poland and you guessed it, none of my allies moved. So I got clapped, 90% autonomy everywhere, bankrupt twice in a row because now I can take only 5 loans. I have never gotten this bad of an event chain to would ruin my game ever before. Seriously, never. It's usually my country just being too weak but the campaign was going great and then it died.
